Good appetizers, awesome spare ribs, the prime rib was tasty but a bit chewy. If you are inside you get seated in a couch shared with other people and your food is given to you in a tray that you rest on top of your legs/knees. So it can get a bit uncomfortable for some.

Top Ribs in NL. I love it even if I usually don't eat pork. The frog legs is unexpected tasty. We eat frogs in China, but also with lots of spices and chili, making it very spicy. The way they cook the frog legs really surprised me.

One of the best steak restaurants I’ve ever been to. We didn’t reserve our table. The staff welcomed us, took our coats and gave us a seat on a big leather couch next to a fireplace. The food came on a wooden tray and was served directly on it. We had short barbecue ribs and a fillet. Both delicious. They came with a jacked potato and a small salad. Perfect way to finish a long day of walking around. This restaurant is just off one of the many roads full of bars and clubs. It’s on the canal. Easy to get to, quiet, average prices. Highly recommended. Book in advance when possible.

It is hard to describe how excellent this place is. All the place is managed to the client feel good and very comfortable. There's a perfect menu with a lot of options of food, and, mainly, meat and wine. I really recomend this place, it is well located in Amsterdam. Probably can be necessary schedule a time by the link in Instagram of this restaurant.

We ordered lobster soup , mixed salad and spare ribs. It’s lovely combination. Highly recommended.

Best ribs I’ve ever eaten. Wanted to try more of their menu, but it was late. Will be haunted by the genius of the chef who created that dish. Might have to go back to Amsterdam sooner than later.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is also good. Had the escargot as a starter and the tenderloin for main course. The tournedos was grilled perfectly and tasted really good! Why not 5 stars? We had to sit on the sofa around the open fire. Although the idea is cool, I didn’t like it. No privacy and not a big fan of a plate on your lap.

Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis weren't here tonight ... But they could've been. Welcome back to the way things used to be ... the way they should be. Ridiculous food. Beautiful ambiance. Wine paired with your food... if you're into that. Wait staff that won't leave you wanting sharp instruments of destruction. The dumbest part of all... It's reasonably priced. Not even sure this is legal here...

Very traditional and well located stake house near Leidseplein. I had the premium rib with grilled vegetables and a Bavaria draft beer. Good.

Highly recommend the spare ribs which is the best ribs in Amsterdam. The steak is also excellent. Side dishes jacket potato is better than grilled vegetables. Need to make the reservation in advance given small capacity.

Great place for steaks...our favorite was Prime Rib. Great service...I give 4.5 stars. Only problem we had was sitting near the fireplace which makes the dining light too hot. FYI - there is time limit for each reservation.

Almost impossible to get a seat during the weekends unless you make a reservation. Weekdays if you go at around 515-530pm when they first open shouldn’t be hard to get a table. They have a special ribeye that’s not on the menu that’s quite good, but the best thing they have on the menu is the spare ribs. Just falls off the bones. Chicken is worth a try too!

An institution in Amsterdam. Very busy with great vibe. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Great classic dishes on the menu and wide selection of the grill.

Such a good spot - the meats here are super tasty! Loved the steaks and the spare ribs and the chicken was tender and delish too. Also tried frog legs which was delicious too!

Now it’s become one of my favourite meat places ! From the starter ( beef satey, tender beef and thick and rich sauce , while the escargots were not too salty but still good) the black angus was super tender and tasty , the grilled was perfectly made ! Good selection of wine as well! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal steak place in the heart of A'dam. You Have to try this place. We Americans think we can make the best steaks, this place says, "Hold my beer". Great seating arrangements too, family style

Their lobster soup and spare ribs are a must have! Liquor is added into the lobster soup on request and the fall-off-the-bone ribs are done very well over the grill.. if you like smokey, sweet and savoury ribs that's not dry, this is the place to go!

I love the ribs here. They are superb. Great steaks. Superb all round grill. The brownie with ice cream is superb. Spanish Rioja pairs well with the dishes. Love music and atmosphere. One of my favourite chilled back places to eat

The ribs were outstanding, lamb chops juicy and delicious, but the two rib eye steaks were both undercooked. One was sent back to be heated to the proper temperature, and came back as rare as it was to begin with. No accommodation and barely an apology was made. Having two of two steaks significantly undercooked is just not acceptable at a a grill restaurant with this heritage and reputation.

best ribs in amsterdam!! had great service, and the food was brought super quickly. i would 10/10 recommend the ribs though! they fall right off the bone and taste amazing. the desserts were also really good :)

The BEST Spare ribs I’ve ever had!! I recommend making a reservation, otherwise you will have to wait quite a long time in line. Super super recommended restaurant! do not miss!
