It was comfortable and enjoyable place. The service is fast and friendly. The food is good, but don't expect a very different and special taste. You should try the anchovy and calamari. It was fresh and delicious. Also, if you like it, the Sangria was pretty good. We paid 110 Euros for 4 people including drinks.

Amazing tapas restaurant! Would definitely go there for a authentic Spanish evening. They got a big menu and you’ll find at least 10 dishes you want. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I would personally recommend the Iberico and paella. Choose between 3-4 dishes person.

Our dinner at this Amsterdam Spanish gem was superb. The service was warmly friendly, and the menu delivered authentic delights, especially the lamb skewer, the croquetas de bacalao and pulpo, showcasing the chef's expertise. Reservations are a must, given the high demand. The ambiance is lively, bordering on loud, but it adds to the overall atmosphere. A special nod to the attentive owner, whose personal touch enhanced our dining experience. In a nutshell, an exceptional taste of Spain in Amsterdam. Highly recommended for a memorable evening.

Great tapas and service! Loved everything

The service is 7 out of 5. Everyone working there has a friendly vibe. They took their time talking to the customers and magically got all the work done at the same time. Food is also good btw.

We visited this restaurant for a second time last Friday evening. Even though we were late for our booking, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and music were great. The menu is extensive with many great vegetarian options as well. Everything we had this time and during our previous visit tasted incredible. Although it was very busy we did not have to wait long for anything. The drinks were prepared beautifully and tasted great. All in all, an amazing experience. We will definitely be back.

Nice out-of-the-tourist-area Spanish tapas restaurant on a roundabout. Very decent food, rapidly served with some interesting beers. Prices are ok. The outside terrace is nice, but be aware that the heaters don't work, due to issues with the electricity.

Delicious tapas, cozy ambience, reasonably priced with generous portions and warm service. Their sangria is perfect! Mamas & tapas is one of the best tapas restaurants in Amsterdam. I highly recommend it.

We ordered Porto bello (mushrooms) with goat chesse, spinach croquete, Manchego Cheese with red sangria and it was absolutelly delicious! The German waitress got a nice service as well.

This place was amazing! Really good food for fair prices. Service was fast and staff were very nice. We had the paella, lamb chops, sardines, chorizo, a glass of white wine, and a glass of red sangria. There was complimentary bread and water (rare for Europe!) and everything cost us around 43€. The plates were small (since they were tapas) but even the few we ordered were really filling.

Truly the best restaurant in Amsterdam with the kindest people ever! Very delicious food! And the atmosphere of a big loving family... I actually think it's my favourite restaurant ever! I used to go there at least every week or two since February till June 2019 (till I moved out from Amsterdam). Overall, I would rate 4 stars ⭐️ = I would highly recommend. Food: 1.5/2 stars ⭐️. Tapas are quite tasty, except the pulpo a la plancha and Iberico spies. Personally I don’t like sour taste, and the pulpo has quite strong sour taste (probably too much lemon juice). But if you like sour taste, it won’t fail you. And the iberico spies has grilled a bit dry today(no iberico juicy taste). Service: 1/1 star ⭐️. Everyone is so friendly. I’m amazed by the service speed. Don’t need to wait too long to get all the dishes. Excellent!!! Price: 0.5/1 star ⭐️. Taking the portion into consideration, it’s a bit pricey. But it’s in Amsterdam, so…I’m not surprised by the price. Location: 1/1 star ⭐️. It’s easy to get there, by public or private transportation. not very difficult to find a parking spot.

Great place! We live in the area so popped by without a reservation and they were able to find us a table straight away (on a busy Saturday). The 2 of us had 6 tapas dishes and they were all amazing. We recently went to Duendo Dos which is also a local tapas place, but we found the food quality to be much better at Mama's and Tapas. The sangria was also excellent here. Cocktails took quite some time to receive, but we were advised in advance by the waiter that cocktail service would be slower. Will visit again soon :)

Wide variety of tapas. Great tortilla and paella! Fair prices although might be a littlebit overpriced but the quality worth it. Very nice staff as well. Two of us could have dinner (4 tapas) and 4 beers for 50€.

Came here for my partner's birthday and we're so glad we did! The cozy interior, the attentive and super helpful staff (despite how busy the place was), the delicious tapas of course (everything was spot on) and the must-have Sangria left us happily satisfied. We enjoyed the experience at Mamas and Tapas. The service is extremely polite and friendly. It’s just a pleasure to be there. Besides the comfortable ambiance the food has the great quality, tastes better than in many place in Spain and has the unique presentation and serving. We felt spoiled there ;-) it’s a definitely number 1 on our eating- out restaurant list. We have recommended it to bunch of friends and our own hospitality crowd :-)

We had a great experience here. The staff members were very friendly and diligent. We received fresh bread and water on arrival. The portions are fair as are the prices. The location is pretty central and the restaurant clean and there’s a general nice vibe. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back again!

Great place, a lot of 'gezelligheid', the owner and the waiters are really humble and friendly. The place is small which also creates a nice cozy vibe when you enter. It is a popular place, so expect it to be full often. The food was good. A wide variety of tapas for vegans, vegetarian and for meat eaters. Desserts, for my opinion were a bit generalized and maybe adapted to tourists, which I understand as well, but would've liked/expect a bit more Spanish than only having Crema Catalan (which was delicious btw). Because of the busy hours, the quality in my perspective lowered a bit, where some tapas lacked in taste or cooking time, but despite that, I would come again

We had dinner with friends and the night was amazing! We've all said that we can't remember when (or even if) we had such good tapas ever. The food was amazing, the desserts were even better (you want to have the cheesecake) and the service was great. Perfect evening!

We found that super cozy place by chance and we did not regret it for a single moment. Very warm atmosphere and reception, food is really tasty, tapas quantity of course! Medium to low prices, and overall a nice place to have dinner. Only grief is the agonizing search for fish and chicken specimens in our paella!!!

Super tasty food, friendly staffs, cozy atmosphere, fast and organized! For Amsterdam, the price is just so friendly. The fish was so fresh, crispy outside and tender inside. Iberico pork sausage spicy was one of the best I’ve ever had. I love the fact that I can order small portions of Paella.
