Highly overrated donër, contains almost no fresh ingredients. People still come here because it used to be good but those times are long gone. Besides, staff can be impolite. There are plenty alternatives in the area.

I found a large piece of animal tooth in my wrap, and I'm trying hard not to think about what other parts of the animal they put into that so called "meat". I wish I could share the photo of my lucky find, but you are better of not seeing it and ruining your appetite.

Absolutely epic! Bread is baked fresh on site, menu is simple And the food is just perfect. Tried both the chicken and the veal. A must try when in the city

One of the best doner I’ve ever tasted it in Amsterdam, the sauce was incredible and beef well cooked, it deserved to visit. * Note: these pictures before 5 years ago, which I’ve been there.

This place was amazing a few years ago. I don't know what happened, but it hasn't tasted nearly as good the past few years. In addition, they raised the prices in strange ways and the staff is generally not super friendly. I go back occasionally, for old times' sake, but every time I do I leave saying 'never again.' Too bad, because it used to be really tasty.

Really bad kapsalon, only onions, chicken and fries with crazy spicy sauce. No tomatos, no cucumbers…

Kebabs here at Leeman are OK. I'm a bit confused as there is always a queue outside the front, but the kebabs aren't THAT good... The eathuis levane near Albert Cuyp is so much better

Best restaurant/snackbar in all of Amsterdam. No fluffy stuff, just delicious snacks! I allways admire the name Leeman Brothers! Totally recommended as pivotal place for crosscultural eating pleasures! Dutch invention Kapsalon is best of best here!

Super friendly, helpful and patient at the cashier. I would say the best kebab I’ve had in Amsterdam. From Istanbul to Berlin I’ve had a few. Fries reminded me of the time, a long time ago, when Burger King changed the flavour of their fries - very tasty - and very kindly offered my children a small bag each. It’s a take out place and has a bench outside to relax, enjoy De Pijp in action.

Good doner spot for take out. You can watch how they bake their bread on sight. There was a line but it moves fast.

Definitely the best kebab in Amsterdam whether you go for falafel or Chicken. It is very affordable and the perfect size. The snacks are also good. The service is quick. They got some chairs outside or you can just eat at a park.

I wish I could give it more stars! This place was UNREAL. So delicious. Homemade wraps and the meat is so fresh. The employees were really nice, too. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The kapsalon was mind-blowing. My wife and I both took both chicken and veal kapsalon back to our hotel and we loved it. The fries and meat were tasty even after 30 minutes.

I was really indecisive on what rating should i give. I had a big kalf kapsalon for 8 euros, which i assume for Amsterdam for the size of the portion is a good price. Flavourwise the food was very good and tasty and the lady that made my food very polite. I am only giving 3 stars for the guy that started making my order, forgot it in the oven, burned it and then proceed with losing my ticket resulting on me waiting for 25 minutes to get my food only after i asked if they had lost my ticket. I'd overlook that if he just apologised, things like that can happen, but he probably thought it was really funny because he acted like looking for the lost ticket while laughing the whole time

The best doner kebab I’ve found in Amsterdam and I’ve tried more than I’d ever like to repeat, no greasy meat and tasty bread, probably the closest comparison to a nice kebab in the uk 10/10 for me never had a complaint and I eat here a couple days a week

This is a very average doner. The meat is ok but not better than another average kebab store in have tried here. The lamb meat looks like it just bought in elephant legs rather then made in house. The chicken seems to be better. The portions are not particularly big and it is not that cheap either. Really don't understand why there are queues there everyday for lunch time. The fries are just wholesale bought catering one that aren't crisp or tasty. Yes this is the Netherlands but they literally drown the kapsalon in mayo. The feta and spinach borek pastry was tough and chewy. It's edible but absolutely average as in its not even slightly above average.

This is probably one of the best kebab places in town. I think they stand out with their home made bread and just the right amount of everything so it doesn’t leak and every bite feels even and delicious

Good meat, but zero service. They don't ask what sauces or salads you want inside the food, so everything just comes with plain lettuce and knofloksaus, cause they assume you don't want spicy. Then they ask you for 50c for extra sambal sauce and give you knoflok again. Pretty disappointing considering the reviews.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
