I recently dined at Cannibale Royale, and it was an exceptional experience. Located at NDSM Amsterdam, this spacious restaurant offers a cozy and inviting ambiance. The food truly stood out. I tried the Rib Eye Steaks and Flat Iron Steaks, and they were delicious. The side dishes complemented the steaks perfectly, making it a satisfying meal. The friendly and attentive staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. It is a great place for meat lovers, and I would recommend giving it a try.

We were drawn to the place after having a sundowner at Pllek. Super super nice atmosphere and staff that really makes the great spirit a full package. Not to mention the food! Tasty and delicious food options! We were so happy and totally indulgent. Had the signature Burger, the Nachos and a set of sides. All options were just great. Highlight from the drinks menu: there is also a variety of craft beer options available. It is a chain - but also when seeking local specials as a tourist - wouldn’t want to have missed it. In fact we came back three evenings later 🤤

We had diner in this restaurant. The decoration is really nice and the waiters are very sympathetic. The food was good but not exceptional. Prices are not excessive. Good for friends or family gatherings

Our first visit to this restaurant was based on a recommendation, and we were truly delighted. In a party of three, we order an array of dishes to sample the diversity of the menu. The ribs turned out to be incredibly tender and juicy. Despite the burger appearing substantial, it was surprisingly light and unbelievably delicious. The chicken wings had a delightful crispiness and were seasoned just right. The watermelon salad impressed us with its freshness and the vibrant taste of the watermelon. The Caesar salad was a true representation of this classic dish. What stood out was that all the dishes were served hot, enhancing the overall dining experience. The staff was exceptionally polite and efficient. Right from our reception at the front desk, we were greeted with warm smiles, adding to the pleasant ambiance. The cleanliness of the restrooms also contributed to our overall comfort. All in all, our visit was an incredibly enjoyable experience, and we're eagerly looking forward to a return visit!

Exceptional food and great value for money. Large servings. Craft beer is good as well. Ordered the platter with all of their best sellers with wings as a started and pair it with sweet potato fries. Strongly recommend. Will definitely stop by again!

My friends and I loved the place. The food quality was excellent, the service was fast and the atmosphere was friendly and fun. I LOVED and super recommend the fried cauliflower. It was delicious and the sauces that came with that were also extremely tasty. My vegetarian burger was also very very good (they have various vegetarian choices :) ) They also put a small broccoli on top of my veg burger and a piece of meat on the normal, which I thought it was so cute! So I definitely recommend!!

A favourite of ours! A good vibe, amazing spot for drinks and a social, quality food. We shared the ribs and nachos - would highly recommend. Just make sure you book in advance cause it’s often full.

The waiters are very nice and you don’t have to wait that long for the food. This place also has some nice cocktails and beers. The food was quite enjoyable it was not the best burger I have ever eaten but it was definitely not a bad burger. Nice place to go out with a group of friends, but not somewhere to go if you’re with a small group.

We had a wonderful evening at this place! Everyone was really friendly and the food and service were great! We still thought about the quality of the food and the atmosphere in there the next day. Loved the music too!

Always a great place to have dinner. They have various options in their menu. Their staff is friendly and very efficient. During summer days one can sit in their terrace. If you take the ferry from Amsterdam Central, it's 2 minutes from the station. Can get quite busy during weekends.

La Modeste steak won't leave you dissatisfied. The brownie for dessert is going to surprise you too. Prices for drinks are bit steep tho. Overall a good experience :)

Food is good but not extraordinary (meat is tasteless without the sauce). The cocktails could be better. Service is great.

Wanted to try this cheese steak sandwich but unfortunately I ended up disappointed. The sandwich was dry and didn’t have much taste. It also lacked some of the ingredients which it said it would have from the menu description. Also tried to order a cocktail from their menu but there weren’t any bartenders around to mix.

Tasty food. Staff is a little bit busy, you should wait. Music is good. Very crowded and noisy place (sometimes).

When the place gets busy they might struggle a bit but that is quite normal given that it’s a challenging business. Putting that aside; the biggest plus is the proactive culture from the management when it comes to criticism from customers. I’ve been more than pleasantly surprised by their response regarding my unfortunate experience for the first time. Having said the hard part, this was the most trended roasted chicken I’ve had in any restaurant in years. I’d recommend fries in a bit thicker size so they don’t get too cold too quickly; of course there are other sides to pick from. The selection of beers and wines is really decent, and the passion for craft beers can definitely be noted well. I’d strongly recommend going for the ribs or steak when coming here for the first time. But I prefer to work my way up with places I like. As far as I can see they also have a very good level of mixology and cocktail serving standards. Strongly recommend this place after your artful journey around NDSM.

I expected a bit more. Steak was perfect, but the new style tartar was disappointed. However, staf was friendly. My first visit to this chain was much better.

Good. As implied by the name, the menu is mostly meat. I had the Le Cannibale Royale Burger - hamburger topped with pulled pork. Quite a mouthful. They advertise that they have a wide variety of beer, but they were all IPA's. The decor and design of the restaurant was the best part. Very busy, even on Monday night. Get a reservation if you want be sure of getting in. Even the hi-tops in the bar are reserved.

Great food, friendly staff. The ribs are very juicy, go right of the bone. The hamburgers are very well made. Selection of beers is unmatched to similar places. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food, but slow to arrive. Place is big with too many seats crammed in, so on a busy night, there's a LOT of people.

Really nice place, good atmosphere and great food. we tried the royale burger and chicken wings, they were pretty good value for your money. Would love to come back for one of the steaks.
