Best Turkish restaurant I've ever been to (and I have been to quite a few in and out of England)! Service was A-class! They treat their customers with utter respect and warmth! Discovered this little gem in the heart of Amsterdam on our 2nd night and we stuck to dinners there for all our nights during our Amsterdam trip! Just a short walk from Anne Frank House and a lovely spot by the canals. Restaurant is clean, there's inside as well as outside seating. Menu has lots of options and its halal. Food is fresh and well prepared! You can tell a lot of effort goes into giving customers the true taste of Turkish cuisine! Prices are outstanding! Portion sizes are really good! I would highly recommend! On our final night (staff weren't aware it was our final night in Amsterdam), the staff made our night...we got a treat from the kitchen...some lovely Turkish tea with baklava!

Pretty good doner kebab place that has everything your standard doner kebab place has, plus has additional kebabs like Adana kebab and the like. Plenty of options for everyone. My doner came hot and fresh and tasty, the fries were a bit lackluster for Amsterdam but that was ok. Didn't have to wait long for food.

You are near the city centre and feel like a turkish meal, head to Sefa. All the usual mix grill dishes, plenty of choice. Very fast service. Two floors, clean and spacious. Salim Patel

Do you believe in love at first bite? I do oh yeah i have fallen in love with this place. This is the best halal eatery in Amsterdam. It is located just few steps away from the famous canal and i am so lucky to find this place.

Spent 3 weeks in Amsterdam and went 3 separate times to Sefa. It was one of my favorite places and just kept going back to it. Really quick service and one of the best chicken shawarma's I've had. A huge plus is all these different sauces they have on the table. They go well with both the shawarma and the fries, which were also great. My wife had the vegetarian and really liked it as well. One of the best surprises we've had while in the city.

We have been there with a small group of Turkish and Indian people. Everything was nice for us: the price, service, taste of the kebabs, music... I am gonna visit there again when I come to Amsterdam. :)

We came here STARVINGGG and we got an amazing FEAST! The pizza was sooo crispy outside and so soft inside. It’s exploded with the combination of savory flavor of meat and the freshness of the salad. And how tf did they cook the rice here? Each grain is still in its form and not broken. It’s so soft and chewy. That’s when you know rice is perfectly cooked (according to me, a rice enthusiast)

From the outside it looks like “any” fast food kitchen but this is a fully manned and specialised Turkish dine-in/takeaway with some of the best food (especially mixed grill), salads, soup at an affordable price. We came to a fully occupied place so had to sit next to the cold entrance but after 5mn the staff sent us upstairs where a cosy freed up table waited for us. Just like in a traditional Turkish restaurant, the place is bustling with Turkish staff running around to make sure everyone is at ease, ensuring there is enough of the side dishes available or additional wishes are being taken care of. It’s the second time we came here before a theater session and no regrets in having our dinner there. If we compare with other wannabe fancy restaurants (where you pay in average 3-4x more!), Sefa is by far the best one! I forgot to tip the staff as we were in a rush therefore here is an excellent review.

We decided to come here after the high rating we saw, but as a Turkish person I can say that the doner is simply AWFUL, also the portions are too small and too expensive. If there is anything to say , I don't recommend it to anyone it's a disgrace

First time in Amsterdam, my husband was craving Turkish food. Read the reviews online, didn’t hesitate to try it out. Lentil soup was very good especially in this cool weather. I had a chicken doner wrap and my husband meatballs with rice and salad. Ended up with baklava and tea. Didn’t disappoint, food was great, I appreciate the service, kindness and professionalism. Thank you Recep and staff! We enjoyed our meal!

Food is good. This is the finest Turkish food I found in Amsterdam. But the hospitality can improve little bit still giving it 5*

This place was awesome! A group of 5 of us were visiting and we stumbled across this restaurant. The service and food was amazing. They really are kind and make sure that everything is to your liking. A lot of choices to pick from on the menu. You won’t be disappointed if you come here!

Such a great dining experience at Sefa! We were immediately welcomed and the server gave us great recommendations. We got the mixed kebab plate and the falafels and truly enjoyed it. Don’t forget to get the Turkish tea and baklava! Truly a treat in Amsterdam! We will be returning soon!

I don’t understand how this place has got any good reviews to do with shawarma 🥙 The food was appalling didn’t taste like lamb shawarma more like beef mince Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone And on top of that 2 shawarma came to €40 euros +

Very nice food, unfortunately we did have a slightly bad start to our experience with an angry chef but after that everything went smoothly. I'd highly recommend the Kapsalon which is chips, doner meat, cheese & salad, which is €10, very tasty and a decent portion size.

Superb and magnificent taste. The burger was simply top notch, and they also have a variety of sauces.

This is my second visit. The food and service was excellent as always. The tables are not sticky! The toilets were clean. Certainly a must visit if you are craving good food in a clean environment.

Great Döner in the center of Amsterdam. Döner 🥙 was super tasty but could have a little more salad also in the bottom part. For the rest, service was great and atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend.

The Best Restaurant in Amsterdam. I ate doner wrap and it was so delicious. I usually eat doner wrap around Europe but this wrap was the best. Restaurant owner is very kind and smiling person. The wrap was fresh and too good! Located near to a prominent place in Amsterdam, this can be your go-to location for an oriental lunch or dinner. Also, it was cooked according to the expectations so do definitely give it a try.

Recep was an excelent Host. It was an amaizing experience, delicius food and they gave us 4 pieces of a Baklava as a present. Definitely is a place where you have to come again.

Quite possibly the best kebab I ever ate anywhere. Fresh and homemade. Owners are very friendly, service is fast. Highly recommend.

One of the best halal restaurants in Amsterdam Centraal. I tried Adana Kebab, Kapsalon, Brodje and many other items and we loved them. Its an economical restaurant with good service. Also the management is very nice. Will definitely recommend everyone.

One of the worest places in town, skip it & get some fast food! The cook is a text book jerk, who will just throw at you any order even if you did not order it! Their doner is super dry & it tasts like plastic. 100% unfriendly
