First time visit here was very nice. Well organised, professional and friendly service. Comfy seats for a 1.5hr show. Good audio. Enjoyed it!

Beautiful theater, recent renovation, Grease is a good show (all in Dutch). Leg room (at least in the Balkon section) is very limited, not really for grown men and tall women. I had to stand. Air quality is OK in the main theater (800ppm CO2) but terrible in the foyer and by the toilets (1.600ppm).

Really nice and well organized experience! Next to the performance being great everything was easy and smooth in this beautiful theater. Be sure to take some time to enjoy all the wonderful art on the walls too.

This place doesn't allow you to have your own water bottle. FORCES you to throw it away. No explains, no excuses. This is bad for humanity and for planet (more plastic trash). Even airplanes now allow to have your own water. But not this theater. That's awful. Instant one star.

Centrally located theater, ample space for a drink upstairs

The sound was good, artists' performance was vivid and inspiring, the space in the Theater itself was clean. We had a great time!

Beautiful theatre with helpful and welcoming staff. The only downside was the rather narrow leg space between the seats.

Great theatre, wonderful atmosphere. Toilets are located on several floors, so be aware. Also check out the great photo art while you're there!

A beautiful theatre! We went to see 'Message in a bottle', a dance performance that uses the music of sting. It was absolutely awe inspiring, brought tears to my eyes!

Saw the ‘Wuthering Heights’ play here during Holland Festival and it really amazing! All seats had an unblocked view of the stage and it felt very intimate despite the number of people in the room.

We attended a Soweto Gospel Choir concert. I loved the location as many attractions like the museums are a short walk away. The theatre is lovely and quite spacious. Loved every moment of the concert

Pretty theatre, fun shows almost always, sound is good and you almost always get a free drink in the interval!

Often disparaged as a secondary venue in the Leidseplein area, I think that's unfair. De La Mar brings a sense of class and quality without sacrificing it's artistic credentials for both the high and low brow kind. If there's something you want to see (and there probably is) De La Mar is a great venue to see it!

Modern shape with classic touch! Absolutely loved the place! Hard to say how much was it due to great show of Alok&Elsz and their diverse public. However, it is also on plus that such guests found an open door in such a great place to perform.

This was a great discovery. We saw Rocky Horror Show & it was incredible. Going again soon to see hedwig. The shows are incredibly professional and the theatre is gorgeous.
