Waitress was rude and didnt want to work. Handed us all the plates and drinks instead of putting them on the table (she had enough space to place them on the table). Ordered a rum and coke and they brought us vodka and gave us the coke after we asked for it for the 3rd time. It wasnt that busy and the waiters seemed to be chatting up the entire time. The food wasnt good either. The pizzas werent great and the pasta was drowned in sauce. Also the waitress took 10+ minutes to give us our change at the end. Overall not a good experience.

Service is rude not only not welcoming, pizza is salty and unfortunately there is a hair on it. But to be fair the lady waitress is fine, not rude

Decided to give this place a go a few days ago. I must say, pizza was good, and the cheese on it, too, was great 🤌🏻. The pizza wasn't doughy or too heavy for the stomach. Service was good, too, was very quick. No problems whatsoever.

Worst esperience ever, the owner is extremely rude. We were kicked out of the bar because we just ordered a hot chocolate. We absolutely do not recommend to eat here! We gave one star because we could not rate less than that.

Pretty nice place with downstairs and upstairs seating comfy and nice service. The drinks were cold which was nice. Had ravioli and pizza.

VERY RUDE AND RACIST WAITERS! Will never come back Very rude staff - we asked not to add artichoke specifically and then the waiter added and then refused to accept its artichoke. Said it’s ‘blue pepper’! The other waiter confirmed it is artichoke.

Sorry guys: you need to improve the service. I ordered a tomato 🍅 soup but the waiter never brought any bread 🥖 with it. After I reminded him twice it finally came when my soup was cold. I wanted another drink it never came. The waiter also never even asked us if everything was ok.

This is my first time visiting this place and I have heard about it Every time we mentioned Amsterdam. It should be one of the main place you have to get your experience during your stay at Amsterdam. The below is my order and opinion evaluation: Tomato soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Minestrone soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Arrabiata pasta. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vegetarian pizza ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Poor quality gelato. The snickers gelato had a whole mini snickers in it, which was initially exciting, but it proved inedible.

Chanced upon the restaurant and it was raining out there, so we went in straight and settled for our lunch. There is heater/warmer in the outdoor which makes it more comfortable to dine outside. Ordered a pizza, pasta that comes with salad and fries and lastly aglio olio prawns without any pasta. I thought we were cheated because we got only 5 prawns but in reality it supposed to be in this way. Forgiven because the prawns were so delicious and fresh but too little and expensive for the price and portion. Napolean Spaghetti was good too with not too overwhelming tomatoes taste and cooked to al dente. The pizza was piping hot in thin crust, taste a little salty from the olives and anchovies but overall taste was quite balance. Portion good for 4 pax.

The ambience was nice. We had cappuccino and red velvet cake here. The cake was too sweet. The service was the most disappointing, they were rude, as we only ordered coffee and cake.

The pesto pasta was very tasty but the carbonara is lacking in body/ flavor. Make sure you have the waiter read back the order unless you are being serviced by the boss as they missed my girlfriends entire meal.

Food was okay, not great. There was a young man who seated us and was very friendly. Unfortunately, the rest of our service (???) was provided by an older guy who could not have been more rude. He went out of his way to be unkind to us and others who arrived after us. We asked for our check and told him we needed to get somewhere. He threw our check on the table and went to smoke a cigarette. I guess this place keeps going due to their location but do not expect proper customer service.

Had cabonara and my partner had arrabiata which were both excellent and service was good even though very busy. Waiter was quite sharp with slow customers and waitress was quietly efficient and polite. Would recommend the food and the Italian atmosphere 🇮🇹😀

Very rude! We’re not tourists, we know this place, food is delicious. This was the third time for us, decided to eat lunch.. we came in, even if there were no signs “wait you’ll be seated” etc. we waited a few seconds, no one welcomed us and decided to go upstairs which was the only place that had a couple of empty tables. The guy began to shout “hey madam! Wait wait!!” Raising his eyebrows like shaming a child! You’re running a restaurant in a very touristic region of Amsterdam in museum quartier, without having a proper English, and you even cannot add a “please” word after “wait!” If you want people wait to be seated you need to put a reception in front of the main door not the oven!

WAITRESS IN BAD MOOD. We were a super friendly customer! Very polite !!!! We ORDERED CREPES, and the owner said THIS IS PIZZA RESTAURANT YOU SHOULD ORDER PIZZA. THIS IS OUR RIGHT TO ORDER ANYTHING THAT WE WANT!!!!!! Super RUDE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delicious and friendly, fast service

The location is fine. Prelude was really tasty but main course was a downright disappointment. Meat was not on point and the side dishes were also very strange. (salad without dressing etc) Not recommendable.

The food was fine , but the staff were nice and kind especially the captain ☺️

On first look it seemed to be an unassuming cafe and we didn’t have high expectations. However, the meal was genuinely delicious, both the starter and the main. They also gave a very generous portion of Southern Comfort!

Waitress had a bit of a flat mood, but maybe it’s cos she was working alone (I mean the, who I presume was the owner, worked too but she was mostly running around). The cocktail, don’t remember the name but was meant to have Malibu, orange, pineapple and mango in it, only tasted of Orange juice, and what’s with the sugar coating the glass? 😅 I had to hold it with a tissue because everything was sticky. Didn’t drink much of it either. Food, which was the seafood pasta in tomato sauce, wasn’t too bad, but the prawn were over cooked and it was nothing amazing for the 19€. The octopus, I think it was octopus, and the mussels had good texture. But yeah it’s one of these touristy places that’s in a great location but food is unfortunately lacking. The Italian owner had a good vibe to him, but I could hear the pizza maker being annoyed at him lol. They need to improve the vibe and the food at this place.

I had a very unpleasant experience dining in this restaurant! After ordering a pasta dish, I asked for water. The waitress told me that they do not have tab water so I will have to order bottled water which costed me 3.8 euros. Shockingly 5 minutes later when the American guests sitting next to my table asked for water, without any hesitation, the waitress went and got tab water for them. I was very surprised and felt very upset, so I asked the waitress why, she told me because they ordered drinks so they could get tab water, but I ordered food, so I don’t get tab water!!! What logic is that!! I was of course not happy at all with her answer, and said that I felt being treated differently and felt it was not fair! She did not say anything and simply went back to the counter so I thought maybe she is reprocessing the bill for me. However she just came back and told me that they could not do cash as they don’t have enough change.(after previously telling me that cash is accepted) Purely unfair treatment!! I don’t know whether that has anything to do with me being an Asian woman, I hope not!! I felt completely disappointed for getting this “special” treatment!!!!!

We had Carbonara, Spaghetti Fungi and Garlic Bread to share. All were lovely and fresh. It came promptly. The hosts were friendly and attentive. For drinks, we ordered ice tea and couple of hot drinks after the meal. All came shortly after being ordered and without fuss. We had a lovely time eating here and would recommend it!
