Nice terrace, slowest service ever - and food was not even interesting. I ordered a toast... which in a funny plot twist, didn't have bread. After raising the issue to the waiters they brought it, separated. We ordered at 14h - and fries were not available as a portion, but yes a a side dish of the burger. They arrived cold, and almost at 15h - so at least we were allowed to order the fries (which funnily, arrived to the table almost instantly). I assume the sunny day had some influence in this chaos, but based on the experience I cannot recommend its kitchen.

Great service, lovely space and beautiful ambiance. BEST music playlist ever! Best Cappuccino too and I have sampled quite a few in the vicinity.👍🏽 Juiciest burger I have had in Amsterdam. I am in love with this place.❤️

Cosy place with great staff. The cheese cake is a must eat. There is sufficient room and privacy to work and read without being constanly disturbed by people movement or sound. The music selection was varied and pleasant.

Highly overpriced.... Price/quality/quantity ratio to the wrong turn somewhere in the last couple of years. That's unfortunate, because it's a nice location. I especially like the outdoor seating area, indoors a bit less but still okay. Don't shoot me for my last remark.... It's ment to be "funny"... I'm fortunate that this delightful place is right on my doorstep and offers up the magic triple combination: i.e. perfect location, top service/staff and delicious food and drink. Don't hesitate to make a pit-stop here. You won't be disappointed!!

Amazing place with home atmosphere. Huge windows make it bright and spacious. Food is healthy and fresh. View on the canal makes it feel authentically Amsterdam-ish. Nice to come any time of the day.

A really nice place to meet friends. The fries were incredible and the service was good. My friend is a local and I can see why. He’s also super lazy and ensures everyone who visits him meets him here because it’s around the corner from him😂

One of the best soup of the week I have ever had!! 7,50 for that and two bread!! I just love mushroom soup!

I’ve always had a very nice experience, but today it was something different. The waitress was super rude, we had to ask for the food menu 2 times and the second time we asked for it, we heard in “Dutch-Rustig aan”, which means calm down… don’t think it is something you expect to hear when you go to a restaurant to spend your money! The management should take a good care when choosing their stuff. Cause in the end we went to eat to the place in front -with great service called “Grill Bar Marathonweg”, so I guess it is a pity since we spend our money somewhere else!

Good service, good food. Not the best espresso in the world, but the place is nice enough to compensate.

Delicious breakfast and excellent coffee. The staff was very obliging and family/baby friendly.

Cozy little cafe on the south of Amsterdam, the food is good and tasty with reasonable prices. We had the breakfast platter and the American pancakes. Definitely bookmarked for the future.

Good place for a drink because of the location and the nice sunset view (10/10). Don t recommended for food, too expensive and low quality of food (1/10) Service also to be improved. Gentle service but not responsive (6/10)

Slowest service I have ever experienced (and in general the service in NL already isn’t the best compared to other countries, which is ok so I don’t expect much). We sat outside with 5 more other tables where people already had drinks and food and only after 15 min once I went inside and asked, if some could come out, they actually came 5 mins later. Took us another 40 mins to get their attention to order food (still same number of guests and 3 waiters). Food again took for ever to arrive and was average. The sweet potato fries were good tho. The drinks (Moscow Mule and Aperol Sprits) were the worst I’ve had in a while. Cute interior, nice terrace and great location. I hope they will work on the rest, because this place has a lot of potential.

Super cosy relaxing atmosphere. With candle light for some added warmth in a cold winter. Lovely breakfast! There are newspapers to browse too!

The bar looks nice, however the service is horrible. The waitresses are busy hugging, kissing and talking to each other instead of serving. I ordered a cappuccino as my hands were frozen after a bicycle ride and I wanted to warm them up around a warm mug. 1. They spilled the coffee so the mug came extremely dirty, I don't understand how they even dared to serve this. 2. The milk was steamed way too hot and got burned, therefore the cappuccino was not tasty and it actually just tasted like milk..couldn't find a coffee flavour or any microfoam actually. I asked for a new one as I couldn't even hold the cup without not getting my fingers dirty. With some attitude from the waitress I tot a new one, taste was still not good but at least the cup was warm and clean to warm my hands up. One of the drinks we ordered was not in stock. We ordered 2 snacks, 1 was served correctly and then we got something we did not order...they made a mistake so we had to wait a bit for the right order. The flatbread was tasty, but the samosa's were no samosa's..but just small Vietnamese loempia's in a triangle for, quite disappointing. Then when we ordered another drink the waiter came back 5 min later to ask what we ordered as she forgot. The service was extremely slow during the whole eve, will definitely not go there again.
