A little shop. Felt very welcome. Great for a little lunch stop if you would like something not too heavy. Nothing to complain about not wowed away on the other hand. A few tables inside and outside... Speaks great English

Best Place in Town :)

Quite possibly the best Surinamese food in Amsterdam. The tempeh roti is the best tasting thing I’ve ever put in my mouth 🌶🔥. This place is a gem.

Cheap, really good, food portions, actual spicy food and topping provided (!!!!) and cute indoor and outdoor seating in a really chill area of Amsterdam that’s residential yet, busy with a lot to offer. I’ll be back! Try the friend banana with peanut sauce. It’s a great snack with your plate or roll.

The saoto soup was amazing and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the fried plantain with peanut sauce. I was not super familiar with Surinamese food but the staff was super friendly and helped me navigate the menu.

Great food with flavors I never tasted before. Service was quick and seating on the street comfortable because traffic was interrupted due to the market nearby. Easy going, delicious and great variety. Highly recommend!

Small Surinamese joint with a nice and kind service. Very affordable and tasty food, one of the best meal I had in Amsterdam. The meals are tasty, flavourful with nice quantities. You don't have to spend much to have more than a decent meal. It was the first time we were trying Suriname cuisine, and it's a banger! A nice fusion between South American and Indonesian food.

Ordered food from here. Delicious and good food. Spicy sauce could be more spicy and the roti bakkeljauw could have been a little bit more maybe, but it's still great and worth your money. Would go here again.

Delicious Suriname Food tasty dinner plate, spiced in right balanced Go for the Moksi meti, peanut butter with vegetables and bakabana (plantain) Don’t get confused by the little restaurant, the secret comes from the the little kitchen with delcious dishes and the friendly owner.

Best chicken soup ( and good spicy sauce to add) great for cold wet days which are often in Amsterdam Place is a hole in the wall fyi with great food

Best saoto soup in town. The portion sate and roti roll is also very nice. The staff is super friendly!

Best food I had in Amsterdam. They were so friendly and recommended we get Rames (noodle dish) and the mixed meat rice dish. Saoto was extremely good. Memorable first experience with Surinamese food! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting the Netherlands!

ok guys review time - cheap! - really solid Indonesian food - lots of food for what you pay i hadn't had Indonesian food in a long time, and this was a great way to come back to it. there's not much of a way to describe it, it's just really good. the saté was a bit heavier than what I would've liked, but I think that ended up making the meal better.
