I really enjoy the food. I felt like I am at my home. No doubt the restaurant is in at very good location in Amsterdam. The restaurant staff is very cooperative in nature and waiters spoke English so helped us with ordering and general chat. I will suggest to every one going to the Netherlands to have the food at least once at Tulip. Its my promise that the taste of food will make you go again there again and again.

**Full Review for Tulip indian Restaurant:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Starting off, it's great to know that Tulip Restaurant is Halal! The sheesh kebabs were absolutely lovely - perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The garlic naan was another highlight, being crisp and delicious, enhancing the meal beautifully. Portion sizes are ideal for two people, and the best part is, whatever you can't finish, you can take away! A small pointer for improvement: including some salad with the main dishes would be a nice touch. Also, I didn't notice any poppadoms and pickle tray, which would be a great quick finger snack before the starters. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience! 🍽️🌷 One starters main course and naan with a drink you are looking at approx €25-€32 per person but the curry dishes you could easily split between two people. We were very lucky to have discovered Tulip for dinner in the outskirts of downtown Amsterdam. The decor is nice and comfortable and the service was great. What made the mark was the quality, flavor and taste of the food. The food was some of best Indian cuisine I have tasted.

We've visited the place with a promotion but both the service but the food was great. The naan was fresh and soft, the tofu was like butter, the tandoori was well flavored and not dry at all. The biryani was soft and juicy and overall the food was plenty with the feeling of quality all the way. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, very friendly staff and nice ambiance. We had samosas, saag paneer, tandoori mixed grill, kulfi, all delicious and without too much salt or sugar like in many other Indian places. Will come again!

Good location. Easily accessible by public transport. Nice ambience. Limited options for vegetarians starters and taste was also ok nothing great. Main course was good, naan were soft and tasted good. Overall a decent experience!

Amazing food always. I am visiting almost every week and always get good service and good food. Starters are above standard like chicken and fish dishes and main course is also delicious. There are a lot of choices for drinks and dessert. 👌👍

We had the Mutter Paneer and the vegetarian version of the Butter Chicken (butter masala), they don’t have it in the menu, but you can ask :) Also we had some Naan 🫓, silted lassi and mango lassi. To me that’s the best possible combination for Indian food 👌🏽

Everyone needs a good hole in the wall option, that place that does amazing food even if the ambience is so so. That’s Tulip for us. It’s Indian food as it’s meant to be, not watered down for the western pallet but honest, tasty and spicy. We had a coconut chicken and a hot lamb dish and tried various naan, all amazing. The one downside is that the atmosphere is so so as you can see from the pictures, but they also do take away. Another thing to keep in mind is that dining there is not cheap, given the location and the fact that they also cater to large tourist groups. So depending on what you’re looking for from your night out, Tulip could be great. We for one loved a place that distinctly does not cater to the local oat milk hipster elite but just does good food without a fuss.

Good quality Indian food! The tea masala was really good ( ask for mixed boiled tea). Unfortunately they don’t serve tap water!! 🫣

Amazing authentic Indian food. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The staff was considerate enough to prepare special dietary meals and friendly. After a very long we can across an Indian restaurant we enjoyed as a family and were willing to try again soon. I highly recommend trying.

Shocked to see an empty Indian restaurant in Europe. Later I understood the reason- worst food I ever had in the whole Europe. No taste or spicy at all even after specifically requesting for spicy food. Please go for other options.

Went for dinner and everything was beyond our expectations. Especially the food and specials from the chef. Definitely will be going more often.

Damn good Daal soup 😋 I've only ever carried out but I will miss this spot when I return to the US. If you enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend this place.

One of the worst place to order food. I never tasted the such a pathetic food in my life. I need to mention specially about veg platter, samosa in a veg platter? I was shocked to see the items and quantity in the platter. No salt and spices even after requesting to make it spicier. More than everything, not at all tasty!!! I will never visit or order again from this worst restaurant.

The butter chicken with rice was really good, as well as the naan and non-vegetarian appetizer. We also ordered a tikka chicken plate, which was good but not great. It was a little dry and the flavors weren’t very prominent. Overall good experience and the staff was very nice and helpful. Would come again!

Excellent dinner - the paneer tikka masala was the best we have ever had!!!! Service was fast and friendly and portion sizes were great.
