Fantastic healthy food spot in Amsterdam! Loved the ambiance and excellent service. Tried the smashed Avo w/ chicken, avo w/ sunny-side egg, and hummus mango sandwich—all incredibly delicious and healthy all the sandwiches were nicely crafted. Highly recommend!

Nice place for breakfast. I liked the food was delicious. I liked there was a free water. I liked it’s possible to pay by cash. The menu is small. I didn’t like that waitresses are sooo slow. I didn’t like all the buns where with meat. I didn’t like they put artificial flower to the water (why?!) and placed it on each table, it reminds a cemetery.

I greatly enjoyed the food and a satisfying variety of options for a brunch. As a brunch destination, I was let down by the fact that Mimosa was not available at 11:30am as they’ve ran out of fresh orange juice - at the beginning of a brunch service was quite a disappointing thing to hear. Then as an alternative, We’ve had Cava and they didn’t have it cold at the ready. Whilst the food was good, the overall experience didn’t live up to the expectation and I would think twice before returning.

The best brunch we’ve had in Amsterdam yet! Quickly seated by friendly staff in a really cool cafe. Dirty chai and latte were so good. Food came really quickly and both dishes were delicious - great flavors, lots of veggies options too, wouldn’t change a thing. Fairly well-priced, I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m visiting Amsterdam.

Love this place. Been trying to go for a while and it was worth the wait. Benji’s offers great brunch options with big portions that you fill you and are worth the price. The inside of the restaurant is super nice too, making the experience way cozier. Be careful though during peak hours, it tends to get full pretty quickly…

Great place for brunch style food. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the bun was nice and soft. Like any other popular place in Amsterdam this could be really crowed and service very slow although really nice. It’s a solid choice.

The service has a lot to improve. They mixed up the tables (which we had booked in advance), and after 15 minutes, we sorted out. When we sat, the napkins on the table had been used by the previous customer, but the waitress changed when we asked. We asked twice for the menus and it took 15 minutes to get them, and another 30 minutes to receive our dishes. The food was good, but not worth the (very) slow service.

The first time we got there I ordered a bowl and my mate had a bun with scrambled eggs. Bowl was okay, quite large and filling, I couldn’t eat it all and I shared with my friend. Which is a good thing, because her bun was really small, she was disappointed there was no salad or anything else. Next time I went for salmon avocado teriyaki and it was fine, again portion was too big for me. My friend added to the same bun avocado and this time she was satisfied.

Incredible Brunch! We've passed and just stopped by randomly and it turned out so well! We had the best brunch ever in Amsterdam. Quality of food was excellent, we were so impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. The place is also pretty cozy and relaxing with a good decoration. We'll definitely come back!

Had a Buddha Bowl which was super delicious and light. One portion of this might not be enough so you can consider having a dessert after this. Tony’s hot chocolate was great too. Ended with a French toast which was beautiful! A great place for brunch

Apparently this place is quite popular. My friend sent me a “popular cafe in Amsterdam list” and it was on it. Remember to make reservation before you come. The brunch was great. Cocktails were nice too. Very friendly staffs, also very busy too. I don’t know why they don’t open second floor, maybe it’s because they lack of sufficient staff I guess. Would definitely come again for a nice brunch.

Went here on a Sunday for lunch and seems like they are a bit understaffed. The service was quite slow and they appeared stressed/rushed. The food was good but also seemed to have been made in a rush. The matcha lattes looked great though. I would like to think this is not always the service they have here so I’m gonna give it a 4/5 for now. Would love to try it again and see if it’ll be 5 stars then.

An underwhelming experience - photogenic dishes, but not tasty! The atmosphere and decorations are pleasant for laid-back work, but the kitchen and waiting staff was disappointing. The Buddha bowl I ordered was extremely bland and dry because of the ingredients and lacking dressing. I told the staff, and they said they would see if they could do something for me - but nobody got back to me before I left. I hope the quality of the food improves for future guests.

Great potential but victim of it's ow success. Very nice people but a total lack of structure and efficiency. Avoid when busy. People are nice and food looks delicious. We could not tell cause left after waiting almost 40 minutes for 2 coffees. A shame cause this means less income for the owner and bad experience for the clients. Hope you can make it happen.

TikTok took me there, and It was well worth the wait on the weekend. Disclaimer: If you have a problem waiting, you might want to call first. The wait to be seated was quite long. Now, back to the review. The food is really good. It really didn't need much seasoning. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and the teas were also good. Honestly, I could go on and on. This place is worth the visit. I am hoping to go again right before my trip ends. For me, this was the best bruch place I've been recommended in Amsterdam! 5/5!!

Went there on a Saturday afternoon and we managed to find a table online immediately. Interior is very interesting and the atmosphere is very cozy. Coffee and food very delicious too. But definitely, service should be a lot faster and more attentive!

Not worth it. Delighting customers is not the priority. Staff is not professional and make you wait a long time. Setting is nice but seating is uncomfortable, I sat on these chairs enough during elementary school. Food isn't worth the money. I had salmon sandwhich, it was ok because of loads of salmon. They place half an avocado on it which is very impractical. It is gimmicky. I would say le pain quotidien does the same trick better even though it is a large chain.

I've been here many times with Amsterdam friends, as well as visiting family. It has a great atmosphere & the food is of a great quality. I nearly always have the Tropical bowl which has loads of toppings. I have also tried a couple of the other dishes and they've always been amazing. Can't recommend Benji's enough!

The food is tasty but quite overpriced. We ordered a smashed avocado toast (9€) with extra sunny side egg (+2€) and salmon (+7€). Judge for yourself if that tiny piece of salmon is worth 7€… The teriyaki salmon toast includes much more salmon though, definitely go for that if you’re doubting between the two.

Visited for breakfast and got an orange juice and granola bowl. This was a lovely, modern cafe with a relaxed vibe. Granola bowl was surprisingly large and incredibly tasty, while still feeling somewhat healthy. Overall the service was great. I needed a receipt after paying but they were slightly surprised by me asking for this afterwards. Best to mention you need one upfront!

Beautiful interior and a nice terrace out front. The food is nice though pricey, which is to be expected for a place like this in Amsterdam. The food did take a bit too long to come out which explains the lack of the 5th star.

Certainly one of the best Eggs Benedict I've had here in Amsterdam. The service is also fast good, and the people working here are very kind.

Nice brunch food, coffee was great. There was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant at the time, so it was a little difficult getting someone to come to the table. Scone with jam and cream was very tasty but overpriced for 1 scone.

After four years of living in Amsterdam, I can unhesitatingly admit that this is my favorite breakfast/brunch spot! 😇 The food is unbelievable, out of this world. A mixture of super healthy and tasty meals - they have hit the nail on the head here. During busy hours, the waiting time might take a while, but you can enjoy the Bali-inspired decor in the meanwhile Must try: morning bae, salmon avocado teriyaki, buddha bowl, apple carrot ginger juice, and Bloody Mary for a Saturday hungover!

Just great food, with variety. The place was a bit crowded on Saturday, but we were able to find ourselves a nice place on the terrace. One of my favorite spots in Amsterdam for breakfast/lunch.

The waiter left us waiting for quite a while after giving us the menu. Instead, we saw them chanting and being on their phone in the open kitchen area. However, after they finally took our order, food did arrive quickly and was very tasty.

The food was really tasty, coffee good, service fast. We came here 2 days in a row, at around 9:30 and they did not disappoint.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
