Really cool movie theater. The seats are actually armchairs or sofas for couples, with a small table for food and drinks. Also unique art deco design of the outside building. Movie ticket is a bit expensive, 15 euros.

What a beautiful theater! Clean, amazing food bar, variety of beverages, cinematic quality top. I really enjoyed my cinema nights here in Pathé City. This one is my favorite in Amsterdam. The staffs are always friendly with great attentions and warmth every each of them. This theater has to be the greatest example of the perfect movie place.

Europe isn't known for customer service, but this place has the most absolute best staff. I'm a regular theatre goer at Pathe City and every-single-time I'm greeted with a warm welcome at the door, friendly interactions buying popcorn from staff who also helped me with a technical app issue, and without fail someone bids me farewell with a smile when I leave. And the love seats and chairs are fab. This place is great.

In terms of food and beverages you can buy: popcorn was tasty, but very small. It's possible to order coffee, and they have a good selection of sodas.

Great area with bike parking for free underground. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The cinema is clean and everyone is friendly.

What I dislike about this movie theatre (and al others, I guess, but let’s take it one at a time), is that I’m being sold to advertisers on my own time. Movie, the service I paid for, was supposed to start 10 minutes ago and here I am still forced to watch irrelevant product advertisements. If all streaming services have no advertisements once they charge, why should this be any different???!

A different cinema experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the set up of the theater (zaal 1) with velvet sofa’s and salon lights. Very cosy. The cinema also feels like it belongs to a different era, but in a pleasant way. It was like a 90’s feel again. Definitely recommended for a date! I

My favorite movie theater in Amsterdam. Screen quality and sound is not amazing, but the nice and clean love sits, nice tables and lamps in the room and very tasty popcron makes up for it.

If you compare it to most other Pathé’s in Amsterdam, this one is the worst I think. It’s still okay, but it’s kind of small, and you can only buy drinks in a glass bottle (around 300 mL). Other Pathé’s sell drinks for the same price, but there you will get 500 mL. Very strange to me.

This is the coolest theater I've ever been to! The popcorn is killer and I loved cuddling up with my partner during the film! Will be back

Arrived minutes late due to train delays and was refused entry without any explanation, apology or general decency. Understand it's not the best to arrive late to a film and generally I would be on time but to refuse service with 0 customer service skills after paying 14€ for my ticket in advance is a joke. Robbery.

Nice service, nice location and just what you can expect from a Pathé. We chose for a 'love seat', it's very spacious and comfortable so we'd do that again.

Quaint movie theatre that is perfectly located in the vicinity of many restaurants. The red carpet harkens back to an old timey movie theatre. But I can’t help but hope they are paying the guy who cleans that carpet extra as keeping it that red is probably a next level effort. Small cinemas with comfortable seats. Love the 3D movie experience. Couple seats are amazing and very spacious.

It was the worst cinema experience ever. First off it was really confusing of where to go with no one who told you and no signs. Secondly the picture quality, at least in saloon 1, is so terrible. The film was in 3D but the 3D effects could not be delivered in this saloon. Everything was seen double and blurry, sometimes you would even see triple. Even the normal 2D commercials before the film was laggy and unclear. If a cinema cannot deliver a 3D movie, it should not be shown. If a cinema cannot deliver basic quality then don't sell expensive cinema tickets....

Unlike Filmhallen, my Stadspas ('City pass') is accepted, here, making this very affordable. N. B. I like the renovation, even if it'll never be anywhere near as fabulous, as the Tuchinsky.

Excellent movie theater, mostly an arthouse selection but usually multiple showings that allows a visit in the weekend and evenings of weekdays rather than the impossible time of Tuesday at 10 o'clock in the morning.

Very cool and elegant cinema. They have couches for couples instead of just chairs so it's good for a romantic evening.
