Spicy tempé on pita bread! Delicious! Freshly baked (homemade) pita bread, crunchy tempé, fresh salad in a gezellig little corner of Reigersbos. And it doesn't break the bank! What's not to like?

HEAVENLY SAOTO SOUP (^3^)/ Was not familiar with the area and did not know where they sold saoto soup 😪 LUCKILY, a quick google search for saoto soup led me to this cute vegan corner. (^o^) I used to be deadly afraid of vegans, so much I would hide and shiver in fear when they walked past me (I can smell when someone's vegan) This saoto changed my life and helped me get over my fear of vegans, I almost wanted to turn vegan myself... Sadly, I still love fried chicken.♡ 10/10 soup! ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉ Mushrooms in the soup kind of imitate the meat you would usually have in a normal saoto, loved it! Also, the lime in the soup? You may think it's weird to have in a saoto, but it enriched the flavors very well. Nice people with nice smiles working there, clean place + students at the school nearby get a discount, not a student there but they still gave me one :)

We order here on a weekly basis as a five member household and absolutely love the food! Never disappointed and very consistent! I recommend it to everyone I know. The quality to price ratio is amazing. Keep doing what you're doing Yemayá’s. You regularly make our day!

So delicious I don't have the right words to express exactly how. Not to be that person, but these dishes are so amazingly made they will steal the hearts of vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. I've brought many people there over the years and they've all been absolutely delighted by what they've ordered. I will continue to go regularly for as long as I can walk my butt there.

I gave them a chance three times and it was always a disaster. Waiting time is enormous regardless if you are on the spot or ordering a delivery. The food is ok, but not worth waiting. The lack of a professional approach kills this kitchen, never again.

I love food at Yemaya. All of them, but especially the burgers are so delicious here as well as the lentil soup and the box. Great place and friendly personnel. When I had a suggestion about my coffee being quite sweet, they were so kind and they made it less sweet and even followed up for feedback. This is a great type of service.

i was there with my buddy and it was very nice in all belongings . Other vegan restarants have way higher prices which are no worth exspcially in Amsterdam Central and nearby . This is a very good healthy looking +good tasting allrounder . Will come back next time 100% and try out much more .

Tasty food, fantastic lemonade that tastes like non-alcoholic mojito and friendly people working there. The only thing I didn't like was the wiggly table we were sitting at outside. Even my friend's dog got a bowl of water.

Saoto vegan! Brilliant idea, but I think that will be perfect if you use Oyster mushroom and more nutmeg to give real Surinamesse saoto! Very healthy wild rice they add! The vegan cheeseburgers was soo good! Taste like meat, a must to try! And for tempeh pita bread, I taste little bit bitter, maybe you need to choose the good tempeh producer. There is one best tempeh in NL, taste so good, brand Tempehting The vibes was also good and cozy, the hidden vegan place in Amsterdam South East, take the metro to Gein from Ams. Centraal, stop at Reigerbos!
