I like the friendly staff and service. They are great and take care of things. Apart from the room it was too small. You can only sleep and can't sit because it's too small.

I stayed this hostel with my friend in October 2018 and I still remember how bad my stay was. They had an excellent breakfast and was located in great location. Unfortunately, THEY HAD BED BUG. It was my very first and the last bed bug bite so far. I suffered for months after coming back to the states. Terrible place to stay. I used to love to stay in hostel until staying this one. Not anymore.

Interesting hostel. Definitely on the lower budget. A few lights in the room didn’t work and there was a lot of dust. The shower was pretty awful: the shower curtain absorbed water and dripped it onto the floor, the shower head isn’t held up well so you can’t get your full body wet, and there is no guarantee you’re going to get hot water. The walls are paper thin in all directions, so you can hear the conversations, toilet flushings, and basically any movement in nearby rooms as if they were in your own room. I thought people were opening my door constantly, but it was just the next room. The doorbell downstairs is constantly ringing and you can hear it from the upper floors. If you’ve been out late, don’t expect to sleep in because the housekeeping staff starts working at 10 am till 1pm and it is extremely loud. The location is great, but that’s probably it. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Lovely place with lovely hosts. Clean sheets, towels, and room. The location could not be better. Right off one of the busier streets in Montmartre. Despite the busy area, the rooms are quiet, and we had no issues with noise (even on the weekend). The hosts were very accommodating - we requested a late checkout and they were happy to help out. They also offer a free breakfast which was lovely - a great way to save a few bucks every day. Would recommend Plug Inn to any friend!

Cancelled and said “don’t worry! We have you booked at another hostel for the same price! That hostel tells me “no that price is too cheap to stay at this hostel they will find somewhere else for you” I’m 5 days out from flying there now with nowhere to go! AWFUL.

Hostels in Paris have a lot of advantages, and in Plug-Inn Hostel I will mark: Cost-effective: Plug-Inn Hostel offer affordable rates for shared dormitory rooms or private rooms, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious travelers. Socializing: Plug-Inn Hostel provide communal spaces such as kitchens, lounges, and dining areas where guests can socialize and meet fellow travelers from around the world, creating a vibrant and social atmosphere. Convenient locations: Plug-Inn Hostel is located in central area and near tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The location of the hostel is excellent, as it is close to many famous attractions such as the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, the Moulin Rouge, and the Pigalle district. The nearest metro station is Abbesses, which is just a few minutes' walk away and connects guests to the rest of the city. Its located at 7 Rue Aristide Bruant, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, France. It is situated in the Montmartre area, known for its artistic history and charming atmosphere. Local knowledge: Hostel staff are often knowledgeable about the local area and can provide recommendations on things to see and do. Amenities: This Hostel offers amenities such as free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and luggage storage. Plug-Inn Hostel, offers different types of rooms, from individual, to couple rooms to 4 beds rooms. I want to remark the option to have breakfast at the hotel, from 7:30 to 10:00. It consists in a CROASSANT (baked there), some bread (baguette) with free butter (President) and ham, with orange juice (not natural, but it's ok), milk, coffee and cereals. You can have dinner there.- You can call Uber Eat, and have dinner in a terrace inside the hostel. It has a fantastic location.- Going out of this hostel, if u turn left and go up the street you will find a marverllous and historic street, with Vincent Van Gogh house and other interesting houses. And street coffees where you can eat delicious sandwiches. Finally, I want to underline the relation stablished with workers in this hostel.- All of them try to make you feel your best. I can't tell you other thing that... RECOMENDED. N.B.- You can read a lot of reviews talking about the size of the lift, they say it's small, unconfortable.... but I want to make u think about an item: It satisfy your necesities to go up or down, and of course, I prefer a good room (I gonna sleep there) than a lift, jajjaja ;) (u know)

Likes, the street's around is really really nice, close to everything, the neighborhood get 100 stars I love it. Metro is 5min walk. I feel safe as I solo women. Good in engelsk. Dislike. The doorbell is going on all the time, it's a loud Ding Dong, it woke me up every night, really bad. They walls is thin, you can hear everything on the other side. So if you like sleeping is NOT for you. The breakfast is minimum, one croissant and cornflakes. No sope for wasting your hands.

I'm not sure how to compare to other hostels in Paris, but with other cities, it wasn't a good experience. Facilities are damaged, wifi is bad... Some areas doesn't connect properly, and some is slow. 2nd room I was in was smelly... 1st room was very noisy if you have a room by the street, but to be honest, the staff is very helpful, they changed my bed to a quiter room, provided extra pillow, very humble and helped with the metro map.. Thr location is amazing as it's in montmartre area, and just 2 minutes walk from the metro station. But in general they're trying their best.. Hopefully this review will not damage them, but really need to enhance. Thank you Charles for everything, you've been a great help..

This place is a gamble. It could either be good if you’re lucky, or TERRIBLE if you are not so lucky… I stayed for three nights and slept well for only one of those nights. The streets were very loud, the walls were thin and I could hear other guests in the hall, and the front doorbell went off the entire night. Also, on my first night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. You do not receive a new towel, the rooms are very cold and drafty, and extremely tiny. It’s really not worth the price at all. I think if you like partying, this is a perfect place because it’s super close to bars and restaurants that are open late; and close to the metro.

The world is in a pandemic and America has banned travel to Europe. So I contacted them hoping with the state of the world I could get my money back. They emailed me within 24hrs letting me know they cancelled my booking and that although they were sympathetic they could not issue me a refund. Yeah you sounds super sympathetic. 😑 guess if I get the chance to rebook my vacation I'll be staying away from this place and I implore others to do the same

The location is perfect, very accessible to restaurants and public transport. Also very near to the nightlife if you are into that. The service was quite nice, the service staff are generally very kind. The rooms are standard hostel rooms, so it depends on how clean your bunkmates are, but generally the rooms were clean when I was there. The biggest problem would probably be the absolutely tiniest lift, so if you are a backpacker like me, I recommend reversing into it cos you will not have space to turn.

Nice rooms in an amazing location, we didn't use the kitchen because it was underground and quite dark, but there's a lovely little greenhouse like area where we ate lunch. The best part of our stay was definitely meeting Christian - thank you for being so kind and fun!!

I mean, I'm not sure if I was incredibly lucky, but for my 4 nights I stayed in this hostel (in a 4-bed dorm room), I had the room entirely to myself every night! This might not be desirable for someone seeking company on their solo travels, but I was finishing up a long trip, and was glad for the peace and quiet. I will say, the price was quite steep for my early-September visit, so maybe people were put off by the price, but either way it meant I was getting a great rate on what was essentially a private room. In fact, I saw very few people at this hostel overall, it truly was a quiet place. Staff were pretty helpful, bathrooms were kept clean (at least the bathroom in my 4-person dorm room was clean), and they have a wonderfully cute cat at this hostel who will hang out with you as long as you want! Also, the free breakfast was a nice bonus. My only issue with service was that I spoke entirely in French to the receptionist, but he noticed my accent and switched to English and would not switch back. If your goal is to explore Montmartre, then this is definitely one of the best places to stay, as the location is super central to the neighborhood. Just for whatever reason, it seemed quite empty during my 4 night stay.

Loved it! The staff were amazing! The rooms were clean and tidy. The location was super cool. Great restaurants close by, two different metros taking you to different locations to key areas. Will stay here again!

We booked a double room with private bathroom. When we arrived the staff were friendly and polite. The room and toilet are small but you have everything you need, everything was tidy and clean. We had one towel each. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Simple breakfast with a piece of baguette and one small croissant. We also tried milk, cereal and orange juice. The only negative note, depending on what time the other guests come back to the hotel, you can hear them from your room and if you have light sleep the noise from the stairs might wake you up. Apart from that, no noises from outdoor. Everything else was excellent! Highly recommended.

I have mixed feelings - the staff were really kind and helpful and accomodating, and the location is great. But then, the beds are really old (at least the one I stayed in). That being said, when there was an issue with one of the roommates, they offered me a private room!

Fair place. Fair price (50€ per night). But wish they would have discounted. Stayed many 1 nights they could be a little accomodating and throw in free things. Would give it a nicer touch. The Great location. By montmarte. Clean area. Not in busy part. But steps away from it. The night was slightly noisy. The room (2) is situated right by the street. The place is Clean ish. I enjoyed my stay here and met a wonderful woman in Christ. It was a pleasant experience. Made my days while she was there. ✨✝️🙏🏽

Stayed for two nights in a private double room. Was exactly what we needed, near a metro line, a supermarket and restaurants and bars. Staff were so helpful, booked out shuttle to the airport and had our room ready early for us. Elevator is class!!! Small but exactly perfect! Thanks guys 😊

I was there last week, and I found it reasonable. Elevator to climb to rooms only available for 1 person (at a time). For those who climb the stairs find a part with carpet, a bit dirty (old), needing to change. Simple but small bathrooms. The room I was in had some dust in the area below the table available. They only change towels and clean the room after the 4 day visit. (ridiculous). Bathrooms are cleaned daily (but no towels are changed). Friendly staff. Simple breakfast, with few places to sit.

I booked a three bed mixed dorm here and unfortunately it wasn’t quite right for me. I was the only girl in the dorm (not the hostel’s fault just how it worked out I guess) and the room was unbearably hot at night. I stayed one night and switched to a more social hostel. I found the breakfast hard too as it was downstairs and in a very small space - another very warm space. Mostly I struggled with how unsocial the hostel was which i should’ve considered when booking so this is not the hostels fault. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff were lovely. It was in a fantastic area too! Just a bit tricky if you’re a solo traveller hoping to make friends.

Perfect for a low budget hostel in the centre of Paris. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Yeah the rooms are small and the shower is pokey…but it’s Paris. It’s WAY better than sharing. And it has an elevator too. Right around the corner from Moulin Rouge and the Amelie cafe. Will definitely stay here again.

Staff was amazing and super helpful! We were traveling as a group and managed to book a room for the six of us with a private bathroom. Very clean room and bathroom! Comfortable beds! Wooden Stairs were a bit of a hazard but we survived them. The breakfast was Ok but the downstairs cafeteria is no place for claustrofobics. Great location!

For the price, it's okay. The shared dorms are pretty clean and livable. The beds are decently comfortable. They provide a towel and an extra bedsheet. The wifi signal in my dorm was not very good.

Very nice and courteous staff! Breakfast and a small common kitchen is included and clean! Metro station nearby and the hostel is situated in a quiet area in a beautiful district! I do recommend it :)

  • 5/5 Giovanny E. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location in Montmartre, near several restaurants if you want to check options without moving far from your stay, and there are some markets nearby. Also metro and bus station are 5-min walk, and even there are some bicycle stations too if you prefer to going around Paris by bike. Clean bathroom!! And we got a great rest in their dorms. Staff is fantastic, always willing to provide u with advice and to answer ur inquiries. We would repeat there in a next visit!

Two weeks before my trip, I contacted them to see if my reservation was in order. they emailed me back that my reservation was in order, however, the hostel would be closet and they would put me in one of their sister hostels. BUT then a week before my trip they informed me that they cancelled my reservation and that I had to search for a replacement accommodation. Now because it's so short term It's very hard to find something that is in the centre of Paris for a similar price range. What is almost impossible! I find the level of unprofessionalism really unheard of. And thank you for already ruining my first holiday in 2 years (due to the pandamic)

  • 3/5 Almina S. 2 years ago on Google
Good for people with a small budget. Make sure u close the door when u shower 2 hours before check out because the cleaning company would just come in lol

  • 3/5 Kate R. 5 years ago on Google
Had a private room with a double bed. Perfect for very tiny people! Thin walls, can hear people in the hallway like they are in your room with you and didn't much enjoy that the bathroom door and toilet were situated right at the head of the bed! But the location was great for sure and we aren't picky people so it was good for the price.

Interesting, convenient, hostel in the heart of the Montmartre district with friendly staff and many like-minded, Interrailing type people. However no Aircon. Fan was huge and industrial, but still too hot in the 6th (top) floor and couldn't get any sleep til 4am. Free breakfast of croissant, third of a baguette, cereal and juice. Free towel. Good WiFi including on top floor. Computer X2 available at reception for resident use. Cafe type lockers under beds (secure with own padlock), and electronic lockers on ground floor and basement. Coffee machine at reception (not entirely sure where we get coffee pods from) and sale of cold drinks 24hr staffed reception. Lockout during day for cleaning. Electronic keycards. We were in a 6 bed ensuite dorm, good shower and pressure even on top floor. Extra toilets and showers in basement. Basement has kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave (freezer but not for residents). Basements smells a little of mould. Good restaurants/cafes all over the place. We went to 'La Villa Des Abbesses' just round the corner, get for people watching, relaxed, streetside 46.60 Euros for 2 non-alcohilix drinks, burger, pasta and 2 hours of sitting. Never rushed. They did add on 15% without asking food cost 40.60Euros. Still worth it and I would have happily given 15% tip for the time we had.

Nice hostel in Montmarte, would stay again. Typical french breakfast served free, friendly staff, plugs near my bunk, free wifi and great location. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is there are no lockers except a small one for your valuables downstairs.

  • 4/5 Isaac W. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hostel perfectly situated in the middle of montmatre. Staff is great and everything worked as expected. This area is lively so bring earplugs if you have trouble falling a sleep in a noisy environment. Would book again!

This hotel is not what it looks like at all. The rooms are non existent and despite what they say their is no AC. We had to have the window open because it was so hot and the front desk man (Hector) was yelling profanities at us. The sheets are also dirty and the bed smells. I would not recommend.
