Today I had the eggs Benny but sadly I couldn’t eat it the bread was soggy from the water and the whole meal tasted like white vinegar. Also got hot chips luckily they were good and a long black. Staff are very friendly

Beautiful food, the pizzas have never let us down. The owner is a star, amazing customer service and a lovely chat. We love this place! Super cozy and welcoming. We got the chicken cranberry, Greek feta and Moroccan pizzas.

I miss the wood fired pizza but their oven pizzas are pretty good too. This is my go-to place for a late night feed mainly because they're always open! I also like to order the mixed kebab on rice if I'm super hungry. They also have decent burgers on the menu which are massive and tasty. The menu is quite extensive so I'm sure you'll find something to eat but if not then just pop in for happy hour. My favourite pizzas to order is the funghi or chicken and cranberry one (they don't do half and half as an option which is a bit of a bummer). Not a fan of shoe string fries so sometimes I order the wedges. I mostly order to takeaway and occasionally dine in if I'm with friends. One of my other favourite orders is chicken kebab on rice. There is only one choice of sauce which is tzatziki. Staff are nice!

Lamb kebab on rice was very average. Meat was quite dry and overall tasted quite mid. Price doesn’t reflect much of the quality comparing to other kebab places.The hot chocolate was good though. Probably should stay away from the kebab and go for the other grilled dishes.

Really great food! Try the lamb shanks, those are so delicious. Chicken or salad great too. Nothing overpriced just right for top quality comfort food.

This place was our best find in Auckland. I cannot speak highly enough of the food and the service. I had a big breakfast and it was huge, well worth the money. The burgers were brilliant and the staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I only wish we had them in Melbourne. Keep up the great work. I highly recommend giving Char Grill a try.

Had a wonderful time here, Saturday night. The staff were very nice, and the cooks inside did a terrific job because it was delicious AND for a good price too! Try to sit outside for air, and you can watch the many types of people that come down Fort Street while you eat.

We ordered Lamb pizza, we never had issues with the food until that day when there was a strand of hair in it, I have made a video.

Easily the worst lamb on chips I’ve had in Auckland and I’d call myself a lamb on chips connoisseur. $26 for shoestring fries and the driest lamb. Absolutely no sauce choices, only stuck with yogurt garlic. I can say though that I’ve had their burgers and they are pretty good but avoid the lamb on chips and rice at all cost. Sorry guys I never write reviews but I just had to be honest :(

I’d say the burger is indeed large but the experience to eat is average. The bun is super crispy if you like that, sauce a bit basic, but loads of salad so you get a nice fiber intake. The salad was probably the best part for me. The wedges are good, they are nicely chunky and pleasant to eat.

We are from Australia and we’re currently on a holiday in New Zealand. We were home sick for some steak and chips and we came to eat at Chargrill! We were not disappointed! This place is open 24/7! The food is served in large portions, the drinks are cheap and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and quick to cook our food to a high quality. This was the best meal we have had since visiting! Would highly recommend and would visit again. Thanks Chargrill!

Great burgers & a decent price. Service lovely. Nice quick turnaround on food before we were off to a concert. They forgot our chips, which was fine - they popped in a takeaway container. Higher price for the chips & for the serving size. Overall great, and would come again.

Really good atmosphere come frequently with friends and family really great pricing food is really yummy and fulling for the price I usually get the burgers 🍔 as they are my personal favorite especially coming from the kind and welcoming staff would recommend A++

We went for our team lunch today at Chargrill after reading such awesome reviews. However the food especially the burgers and pizza weren’t as per the comments or pictures (burgers totally dry and pizza tasteless). The team was a bit disappointed with their meals. It’s important to write a honest feedback so people looking for recommendations are not deceived and owners can work on a right feedback. Staff is friendly and definitely trying to up their game but overall a disappointing experience.
