I had such a lovely time enjoying the Chefs Journey on the opening night. It was a wonderful menu celebrating Samoan stories through food. The palusami was my favourite; a croquet on coconut cream which captured the memory and experience of eating palusami with the crunch of a baked taro. The apa fafano (standard practice of presenting a hand wash bowl for guests to wash their hands after a meal, symbolic of fa'aaloalo/respect in Samoan culture) before desert was also a lovely reminder of the values of hospitality and service instilled within Samoan culture. The apa fafano was infused with essential oils and was fragrant and pleasant. I enjoyed trying isalaelu mocktail as well and would come back to try the others. I'd recommend this to my friends, family and would come back again. Thank you for the food and hospitality! Alailoa lava.

Our visit to Tala was an absolute highlight! The staff were so friendly and took great care of us, we felt like being adopted into the family. The food was great, very tasty with very unique flavour combinations. Every dish was explained to us by the chefs themselves, and dishes had a very personal story or connection to Samoa. The drinks menu is executed to perfection - who knew that a eggplant and pepper drink could be so tasty? Thank you Tala for a fantastic evening, we will surely come again!

There is no place like this on planet earth. I'll never forget the meal I had. I opted for the shift journey, which was a great decision. Every single dish came out and was steeped in memories and laughter. The execution was also exemplary. The settings in staff just add to the experience. Absolutely loved every morsel, the ambience of the whole experience was next to none, A+++ in my experience...I am from the islands and this restaurant took me home in more ways than one...the food, the company the sounds ...everything! The favorite dishes we enjoy back home was fused with absolutely delicious sauces...we will be back

What a stunning restaurant. The food was exquisite, interesting and beautifully presented. The staff were sensational, talking through each dish with memories and stories of how each dish came about, presentation absolutely gorgeous. French Cafe level but I felt I had been on holiday to Samoa as a bonus!!!

Could not recommend this place more. Delicious food made from the heart, amazing staff and atmosphere. A very special experience!
