I’ve been walking by this place and looking in, and checking it out in google maps. Today I walked in, asked what was the most popular dish was. The staff told me it is the butter chicken. So I ordered the butter chicken wrap. I really liked the bread on the wrap, the chicken and the butter curry was average. Tasty wrap, but be aware It can get little messy from the curry. Friendly staff, clean and nice atmosphere, take out or dine in on the counter barstools. I didn’t expect to hear rap/hip hop in a Indian store. But the staff seemed happy preparing the food. I will probably return to try another dish.

After finishing work late at night, I was hungry and looked for a nearby store, but this one was the only one open. The very cheerful staff will explain the menu in detail. He takes pride in the food he serves, and the food was delicious and lived up to his pride. Once you order, they will serve you hot, fresh food on a griddle. The spices felt a little salty, but it was tolerable. I would like to try a different menu again.

Nice little place for food. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Most of the food is nice and economical. This is the only place where I found karak masala chai. I would definitely go back for the kebabs and check them out. Will update the review if needed

When I traveled to Auckland, I always thought of a special burger, but this burger was exactly what I intended and was a really good Indian style burger! The chicken patty was really thick and remained crispy even after being dipped in sauce and cooked. It was so delicious.

I am visiting Auckland from Sydney and was craving some good Indian food. I found this great place so close to my hotel on google maps. I would highly recommend their butter chicken burger, Chicken biryani and wrap. My husband and I loved all the dishes and Ras malai. The chef really puts his heart and soul into his dishes.

I recently dined at a remarkable restaurant in Auckland, renowned for its exceptional Awadhi Chicken Biryani. Additionally, their Butter Chicken Fries are a must-try, boasting a perfect blend of crispy chicken and rich butter chicken gravy. To complement the meal, their tea was delightful, and the Rasmalai provided a perfect finale to our supper. A fantastic dining experience for anyone looking for authentic flavors!

Best restaurant in NZ!! Loved the food, everything was made fresh to order and had an authentic Indian touch. Must try chicken tikka wrap, galouti kebab, chicken biriyani and goat curry!! Loved the service, everyone was so welcoming and helpful while ordering, they made sure we were getting everything we wanted. Atmosphere was very lively at night, even as street food it was better than anywhere else we ate across New Zealand during our 2 week trip. I got an awadhi biryani. The guy was super nice explained everything in detail about the dish, what to expect and (especially) what NOT to (this could be because I was indian). The biryani was well made, meat was cooked pretty good and overall it tasted authentic which was above my expectations!
