Great High Tea at DeBretts. Delicious bite size savoury and sweet treats. A beautiful little cocktail complimented the selection. Good selection of tea, and they do a bloody good coffee too.

This was a very nice experience. Due to covid the prices didn’t seem extremely exorbitant which most places r doing. 20$ for any breakfast with a free plunger coffee or juice. Certainly worth coming.. We had the full brekkie, egg shashoka, Eggs Benedict and a fresh corssiant. All highly recommended. Total bill 80$ with extra coffee n tea. Will visit again..

Took my family for my birthday to the 1920s high tea. It was beautiful and the Bees Knees cocktail and sweet and savoury treats were lovely. Staff were great although I had expected them to be in the 1920s theme... It just lacked a little something in the atmosphere.

The dining area is small and cosy and there’s a lovely waiting area. If you want a quiet meal with lovely service and good food then I highly recommend this place. The adjacent bar is also highly recommended

First time experiencing a High tea. A variety of bite sized treats. Lots of teas to pick from. The "private room" we were in was dated/boring. The music was abit loud and boring for the theme (roaring 20's). Have been and done it. Lots of communication when booking. We paid $59 per person we were a large group of 18 plus a room fee..

Booked for Tipsy High Tea for 2. Was a great time and very relaxing. High tea was lovely and had a good variety to choose. The 3 tipsy cocktails were delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. The kitchen area is cool and reminds me of eating in Italy in small outdoor courtyards except it was indoor. Very clever use of space. Highly recommend. Thanks for the special 2 hrs we enjoyed. Highly recommend

We only came here for an afternoon drink so I can't comment on the food but the atmosphere was so nice I would've stayed for dinner if we had the time. Lovely atrium setting with art deco furnishings. Check out the bar and dining room too - loved the feel. Service was excellent and the drinks were not too expensive. It was a god spot to get away from the grime of the city for quiet drink

The high tea was fun and very tasty. I think what makes this place special is the value of what you're getting. The roaring 20s high tea is a great excuse to dress up and do something fun and different. The hotel is decorated in theme. The staff brought out a nice dessert to celebrate my spouse and I anniversary.

Went for restaurant of the month, and was disappointed with the meals for the price. The meal sizes was very small, in particular we ordered the steak fillet and we got ~100g worth sliced up thinly. The risotto was also very salty. Crème Brulee was very yummy but overall wouldn't recommend going for restaurant of the month deal.

High Tea was delightful - great variety of teas to choose from, delicious cocktails, and a good balance of savory and sweet bites. The staff were all amazing and helpful and made for a perfect girls outing.

The High Tea is a lunch to die for, complete with three tiered serving plate and genuine china tea sets. The bites range from the classic scones with jam and cream to delightful morsels of sophisticated flavour combinations. Everything was super fresh and a broad range of teas too. The staff were very personable and made the birthday afternoon extra special! Thank you Kitchen De Bretts.

We had a wonderful time, the food was amazing, the drinks were spectacular and the vibe was great! Will definitely be back to experience tea at Debretts again!

Note: this is only for the dinner. High tea and breakfasts have been much more enjoyable. This meal was overpriced and mostly unpleasant. Our halloumi salad had a hair in it, as a start to the meal and we were charged for it. The risotto was over-salted and the broccolini was served cold after sitting on the server for 10 minutes. The eggplant dish was tough and rubbery. The serving staff were lovely and the only reason we have given a star at all.

We came to DeBretts Kitchen for high tea (this was our first high tea experience) and it was amazing! Manoj who served us was so welcoming and friendly and made sure we were happy with everything. After we told him that we were there to celebrate my birthday, he even gave me a lovely dessert treat and a glass of prosecco! Thank you Manoj for making our high tea experience so wonderful and we look forward to our next one!

Lovely experience at high tea! Our elderly parents first experience made incredibly comfortable by staff were so friendly and attentive. We had two small children who were made to feel at home and we were ever so grateful. Thank you so much for your care. Food and ambience of course were excellent as always.

This was our first High Tea experience and it was wonderful! We’re on our honeymoon and the added “tipsy” option with 3 great cocktails made it extra fun. The staff were attentive and the food was great (good selection). I’d recommend for a relaxing midday experience.

It was a real treat to spend a couple of hours doing something different . I can definitely say the Tipsy High Tea is the way to go . Was well worth it . Perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Posh English breakfast was not even mediocre. Burnt bacon, driest bread ever, underdone eggs and a warm frankfurter. I was the only person waiting for food and it took 30mins. They need to get it together and taste a proper English breakfast.

Music was great, nice and peaceful. Serving skills a little rusty but all and all it was enjoyed.

The drinks were top class and the food was very good. Food and drinks were presented well and we enjoyed the High Tea. However I do think that when two tables are put together for three people they should align and the tables were of different heights so that the dishes did not sit smoothly on the table . This was rather offputting. For a High Tea I would expect better furniture and not to have to be careful where dishes were placed.

Lovely evening meal. Lovely surrounds very few people given we are in Red. All was cooked & presented beautifully and very yummy.

Although the food was very good & graciously priced - the photos provided on google do not match the atmosphere of the restaurant. It gives more of a 50s motel vibe with lots of carpet and not much natural light. Was slightly dissapointted, would not return.

Wonderful meal. The prawn salsa and pork belly entrées were fantastic. The lamb and chicken mains were perfectly cooked and delicious!
