North Park is a place in Wynyard quarter with many nice meals to choose from, and with nice staff. However there were some flaws when I was here, such as one of the staff accidentally dropping a glass and as a result it breaking all over the floor, however they handled it very well and made sure no one was injured. You might want to use your bathroom at home before coming here though, as for some odd reason when I was using one the tap had very little water power and it took 3 times longer than it should to wipe the soap of my hands, and annoyingly the hand dryers were near useless. However, this place exceeded my expectations, as it had very nice flavour and a generous serving size per dollar spent. I would personally suggest one of thier delicious beef burgers if you go there, as it is an all-round great burger. Now although yes the food was great and with good pricing combined with nice staff, the wait for our food (I went with my family) was not very nice and it took a long time to order anything to start with in the first place as well, so overall this place was the most average it can get. Don't let its looks deceive you, but that isn't to say that the flaws I mentioned were for everyone. By the reaction of the staff when they realized they hasn't taken our order I knew that they wouldn't often let an occurrence happened, so I'll have to rate this place 3 stars.

We arrived on a Friday night 8 minutes before the kitchen closed (at 8pm). We ordered the beef nachos (from recommendation in the other Google reviews) and beef burger. The food came really fast and was great. The staff were very friendly. We had a great time, including our dog.

Great service and atmosphere; I was part of a large group that arrived just before lunch on Easter Monday, we hadn't booked a table but we were quickly accommodated by the friendly and professional staff. Meals are pricey but are made up for by the large sized portions. I had the chicken salad which was good without being memorable. I would have no problem going here again for lunch.

Really kind service, good local beer (Monteith's) and tasty snack food (Popcorn chicken). Nice view to the harbour, good music. Highly recommended!

We had a great time, but the food is laughably bad. Prepare yourself with low expectations like we do, and you'll probably be fine :) The drinks are fine, they're produced elsewhere :)

Went on a cloudy stormy day for Brunch with 3 others on Sunday, place was empty no other patrons which was all good👌 Each ordered drinks first and brought some food... My menu was Seafood Chowder, Fish & Chips washed down with a Lemon Lime & Bitters!!! Amazing tasty food made with fresh ingredients and I even took food home like that doesn't happen often! Cost me $46.80. Other 3 brought Margarita wood fired pizza, fish & Chips, Beef nachos(pulled beef yummy), O. P. Rib Eye on the bone, Seafood Chowder and drinks! "Value for Money" Liked the Ambience of the place, had some cool things hanging up from the ceilings and on the wall. It also had like the kegs on display with a variety of alcohol, that feature was cool. Our Waiter was nice and so were other staff. Only downfall about the place was that there were too many birds🐦🐦 flying around and dropping their business on the tables near us, plus eating out of containers in the kitchen, bit gross, hence why I didn't give all the STARS! Definitely recommend the place for its food, Seafood chowder was a hit for me👍

Great place on a summers afternoon. Sirloin steak was perfect! Broccoli and Quesadilla tasty! Would visit again.

First time visit! The staff were wonderful and friendly with food and drink coming out quickly. The water was ice cold and the beef nachos were good. Unfortunately the beers were warm and the middle of the toastie was still cold. Probably wouldn't recommend based on this experience.

We went with our friends and had an amazing time. Great location in Wynyard Quarter on the waterfront. All the food we ordered was so delicious and especially the quesadillas are to die for. We did takeaway as well for the next day.

Unexpectedly decent food here, Pub atmosphere and helpful service. Plentiful ribs with good meat and sauce, Seafood dish was alright too. Decently sized sides, and salads. Groupon deal was the icing on the cake! 5 stars for how surprising this place was.

Went for lunch today. After waiting over 40 mins for an order for 2 people, they only brought the pizza. Waited 20 mins more and asked for the burguer, and the waiter never came back with an answer. Tired of waiting went to pay for the pizza and cancel the order for the burguer, we even had to wait to do this. There was another table also cancelling their order. Such a bad service.

The meal prices were very overpriced for what you get. I'm talking about the tacos specifically. Very disappointing. Our drink orders were wrong, but it just wasn't worth saying anything. The service wasn't great, They were very slow, considering it wasn't that busy. Great location, though. Parking is easy.

Great location, indoor and outdoor seating, nice staff. They serve my favourite cider so that is plus for me. Haven't been here in ages so will need to go back for sure and see how much the menu has changed. Wonder if they still do nachos - they were SO good from memory!

Sunday evening, we had a choice of tables inside and outside. Service was friendly, but not super fast. Overall the food was ok, chicken wings and beef burger were very good. Chicken burger and calamari not so much. Above average at best.

Good location but was a struggle to get menus and our order taken (we were about to leave as the server arrived) and it wasn't near busy nor understaffed. Food was good, although the 'traffic light' that arrived for my daughter was unusual with the top 95% green a sliver of orange & then base of red and sort of summed up the total experience.

One of the few places open on the Saturday night. When we arrived the music was so loud we couldn't hear the staff talking to us. They did turn it down at our request thankfully. We ordered 3 meals, 2 fish n chips & 1 southern fried chicken. All meals came to the table at different times, the chicken meal 10 minutes after the 1st fish n chips. All meals were overcooked & dry. Not a please experience.

Had a reservation of more than 40 pax. Everyone loved the food and was very pleased with the portions. We were given a nice area where everyone in our group were able to mingle with each other. Our server and the manager did amazing at taking our orders and they were very helpful with some requests as well. Thanks again North Park! Definitely will come back specially for big group gatherings :) cheers!

Not the best experience, the only reason we are putting a 2 star is because the staff that served us were amazing and so friendly. The food was greasy with not a great flavour (although my husband did like his burger) and the cocktails did not taste like they should. The owner/manager? (in uniform) was sitting at the bar talking loudly on his phone before loudly watching youtube clips. The decor was a little strange with flashing lights that were not pleasant. The place was practically empty for a weekend night whilst the restaurants / bars surrounding them were full - maybe some reflection of why this is the case needs to occur from management.

Mixed bag... Got good service and not so good service. (different wait staff) Some issues with food like run out of pizza bases hot dogs. Some good flavours in the food thanks. If I could request a change in the menu it would be to have the chicken and waffles but swap out the chicken nibbles to some chicken without bones in them.

Great meals steak eggs chips and chicken salsa salad just watch the Indian teller he may rob you make you pay more so please check your cost

Nice atmosphere and good for groups. Drink menu is a good selection and food menu has quite a few options. The dishes overall were on the average side although the beef nachos made up for that. In particular, the chicken waffles had a weird sauce (spicy for some reason) that wasn't my cup of tea. It was also pretty dry as there was no syrup. I did ask for some but the FOH forgot. The service that night (a Saturday), was a bit slow to clean the table but otherwise friendly staff and no other complaints. Thanks NP.

We visited for breakfast while staying in Auckland and the food was superb. It was so good, that we went back the next day, however it was then that we noticed that the advertised prices on the menu out front were different from what they charged once inside. The big breaky is advertised for $22.90 but once we were given the menus inside we noticed it said $24.90. They refused to honor the advertised price and we left. Be warned, they are oblivious to consumer law.

Great location overlooking the harbour. We came here for dinner and drinks for 10 people, which was easy to book online. Drinks and food were reasonably priced considering the location. Food portions are very generous, and are good for sharing between people.

Nice spot for a beer after going to Rangitoto for the day. The bar man was very good at creating extra sales lol. Soon as I got my beer, would you like some chips with that! Yeah ok why not lol. And as soon as my beer was empty, would you like another one sir!! Yes please!! Lol. Really annoying when you go to bar and have to wait around for another beer 🍺!! I thought it was great and probably spent more than I was intended too lol. But good on him I say!!

Nice pub along the waterfront. Was very impressed with the service we received, it was a quiet night in the viaduct and three places had already turned us away for food. The wait staff were really accomodating and allowed us to just have snacks and a couple of drinks while they cleaned up. Great banter with all the front of house staff which was refreshing after being turned away from other venues. Only snack food was available, but the gluten free pizza was delicious and French fries...well they were french fries but a generous portion. Good value for money in the heart of the viaduct.

Beautiful place with a good scenic view and fresh air. Food was amazing too. Loved the pizza, nachos and fruity punch drink. Margherita was just in a different league given the good quality of cheese and tomates. Friendly staff for your pets.
