Lovely brunch in Auckland. We thoroughly enjoyed the menu here, the service was quick and the food was tasty. We had flat whites and mimosas, sat in the sun in a bustling environment. For our food we chose the poached eggs on sourdough with a side of smoked salmon, and the blueberry French toast. Really really good. The best brunch we had in Auckland.

Don't normally post reviews but have had the eggplant pita twice now as it is so delicious, so well spiced and tasty. The service is also remarkably quick! Lovely spicy chai and coffee too. Nice shady and leafy area. New fav local.

Williams eatery never fails to impress, great seasonal menu with perfect contemporary flavour combinations each and every time. Their coffees are also fantastic. The best spot in all of Wynyard quarter, a place to keep your eyes on and visit if you haven’t had a chance yet.

Visited William Eatery on the 26th of June 2022. Ordered Sisig Pita and Ceviche Market Fish. The food was good, specially the pork in Sisig Pita. The portion was a bit small for us 😅. Would recommend it for weekend breakfast or brunch.

A really pleasant place and clearly extremely popular. Service was excellent and the menu looks amazing. I ordered a basic brunch and must say I was a little underwhelmed, but there were items on the lunch menu that looked fabulous so I'd be keen to give it another try.

I love a place where every single staff member is warm and friendly and does their job well regardless of whether they’re looking after you or not. There was great communication from the get go about meals taking a little longer than usual (30 mins) which I always appreciate. We sat outside and enjoyed a couple of mimosas and a yum vegan toast option. Surprisingly filling! The outdoor seating is lovely and spacious, it feels peaceful out there, unlike some other cafes outdoor areas. Definitely returning.

Pros Replied to Facebook message Great coffee with awesome latte art Friendly staff Steak dish was good Owner contacted me direct regarding a 1 star review which shows they care about improving Cons Disappointing iced mocha, no tall glass, no cream offered, no syrup, too basic Lackluster sourdough and eggs … that plate looks sad Limited non-vegetarian options No phone number to call

Had a great breakfast here and will be back again. The food was cooked to perfection, from the eggs to the way the bread was cooked. Highly recommend the chargrilled pita and the Nduja eggs on toast! They use flight coffee beans and the coffee was great too. Great atmosphere and was perfect during a sunny day to eat in the outdoor seating.

The food at Williams Eatery was truly outstanding. Every dish I tried was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and I could tell that a lot of care had gone into preparing each meal. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was enjoyable. They were always there to refill my drink or answer any questions I had about the menu. Overall, I highly recommend Williams Eatery to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Excellent coffee and nice cinnamon buns. The cafe is tastefully decorated inside, located in Wynyard Quarter with easy access from the Viaduct Harbour. Service was friendly, though the prices are on the high end.

Super beautiful coffee shop and restaurant. Recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. I had some classic long blacks and a sour cherry jam scone. All things were prepared with care. I would return and will recommend to friends.

Super delicious food. I really appreciate the thought which has gone into their menu. It has a great range and is thoughtfully planned with delightful selection. I really like that the menu items are unique, it’s not something you’d make at home or find at every other eatery. Of course there are some staples as well like eggs on toast which are beautifully done with a twist eg tornado egg and freshly baked bread. I ordered the mushroom garlic rice bowl. Absolutely scrumptious. They also do some of the best tahini cookies in town!

This is a nice spot. The staff were super friendly and the avocado toast, beans and the berry tonic that I got were spot on.

Love the service here and the quality of the food. You know it's good when the chef changes the menu. This particular time we had the steak, and baps with bacon. All on point.

Was looking for a brunch place a little out of the way from the busy CBD. Williams was perfect, and so easy to get to on the CTY bus (every five minutes). Service was efficient - no waiting around here! The plates were nicely prepared and presented. Would definitely come again. Felt a bit guilty for not finishing my avocado toast as I wasn't feeling the best today.

Interesting menu, great seating arrangements, great atmosphere . Frech toast was delicious but too soggy Scrambled eggs on sourdough was yumm Coffee was great. Service was great at the beginning & went downhill after we placed our order Just saying … for that price the french toast should have come with more stuff

Great food and great drinks! I love the location and the building that the cafe is in. Perfect location for a nice break from work to meet with friends. Sometimes the waiters gave off an annoyed look, you can sense that they’re stressed.

The food is not to my taste at that place, but the coffee is delicious. And really like their cups

Williams Eatery is home to the best scrambled eggs in Auckland, no question. Such unbelievable food, my staple breakfast there of scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and mashed avocado is a must try but also highly recommend trying the pork belly pita, amazing! The coffee is exceptional and staff are great, be sure to book in advance on weekends as they are always very busy. 10/10 highly recommend. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales

Ordered the Octopus Scramble. Was asked "if I'd like the sourdough with that" and stupidly assumed toast was included so said yes. Oh hah, no, I just got a $3 toast upsell! I hate that, so sneaky and made me feel really put off from what was an otherwise lovely meal. The toast wasn't even nice, it was pan fried with burnt bits and soaked in butter. Also, the coffee was over extracted and had that astringent whiff to it.

Nice small menu, great food, price is decent for Auckland Viaduct! Home made pita bread so bloody good

Williams Eatery is an incredible place to grab breakfast. The food is great, and the staff are amazing. The smoked fish scramble is a must-try, and for something lighter--the granola bowl with poached pears was so good! The staff was courteous and warm, and very helpful, even as the crowd grew. They are helpful around your orders--we asked about portion sizes and the staff was nice enough to suggest that he could bring our mains out and then we can decide if still wanted the extra order. Table reservations have a 1.5-2hr dining time and they were nice to remind us courteously when he had to give up the table for the next reservation. If the weather is beautiful, get a table out in the sun! They've got huge umbrellas if it gets too hot, and throws if it's a wee bit chilly.
