This location is a true disaster. What little staff they have could not be ruder. Food takes forever, and comes out cold. It's also an only order on app location even for dine in. The restaurant is also generally not clean and ready for you to dine in. I am a huge Nandos UK, SA, and US frequent diner and the NZ locations just don't come close to living up to the cheeky brand experience.

I had ordered a large rice bowl. The rice bowl was not fully filled and the rice was cold. I had to call the staff and tell them this. They insisted that this was a large bowl. I told that the rice was also cold (seemed that I was given the left over stuff). After a bit of argument, they replaced it. The staff was also apologetic. I felt cheated as why should I need to ask? What if I had not raised my voice?

My son was very disappointed ☹️ to see a slug fall out of his burger. I'm happy that it did or else he would have consumed it causing more problems. When he informed the staff they just said sorry. My son did not make a scene so they just got away with it but as a mother I want the restaurant to know that this is a big negligence of not checking a dish before being served. The chef has not made sure that the veges were clean before using it on the dish. Please look into this matter to prevent a fatal food poison accident.

Deliciously flame grilled chicken. Always such a busy spot so I tried it out and it was delicious. Despite how busy the place was, it only took 20mins for the food to come out which was great. The $40 combo for a full chicken and two sides was perfect to fill two adults. Easy ordering via online system was great. Plenty of glass cups and cutlery around, along with plenty of choices of Nandos sauces. Great experience all out :)

This Nando’s restaurant is really big inside. It is very modern, clean and spacious with plenty of comfortable seating to choose from. It’s the perfect spot for a quick meal with friends. You need to order at the counter and take a number to your table. Once your food is ready, the staff will bring your meal to you. The food is delicious. You will also find restrooms/toilets in here.

I've been protesting outside a few Nando's lately because I am disappointed about their lack of progress on chicken welfare. Their branding and online presence seems to suggest they care about chicken welfare, and yet they don't even support the Better Chicken Commitment. What's with that?

Had take away yesterday but dined in today for lunch, food is consistent with the Nando’s brand and it was good. For dine in the restaurant is quite spacious and has many tables, you order and pay at the counter but the food is sent to your table if you dine in. Seemed like they were short of staff but it was clean enough and tables were eventually cleared once the staff had time.

Nandos is not a classic restaurant but it's a class above fast food places. When I lived in England there weren't many places i enjoyed going to to eat out, but Nandos was one of them. When I moved to Massachusetts, they didn't have many nandos, and although some. states have nandos, Massachusetts still doesn't, so I rarely go eat at one. So of course, when we saw one on the way back to our hotel. We got a half chicken and peri fries of course. As always the food was amazing. The area has construction around it but it's still nice to sit outside there and indoors it had plenty of seating and looks just like your typical Nandos. Definitely a place to go to.

Ambience is superb. Chicken flavour was ok. Garlic bread bun was not fresh. French fries was nice.

- Ordering was a hassle. Had to be done through my phone and I needed a New Zealand number phone number. - Large sauce assortment. - Good quality chicken. It was very tender. - Outdoor seating available.

The guy on shift wearing a black shirt is so rude and didn't listen when I told him I want to make it a meal. It's not even busy but his attitude is so appalling telling me "I know how to take orders". If that's the case the why did he not hear me when I said I want to make it a meal. Do better Nando's. Hire more quality people.

Staff unfriendly. Chips came absolutely freezing, some weren’t even cooked properly they were also smothering in salt, couldn’t eat them. Nothing Peri-peri about them. Burger would’ve been nice if it was a bit hotter. Food came extremely fast, which makes sense why everything was cold. The place was so quiet so there is no excuses. Garlic bread came when the mains were eaten.

Maybe because it’s the first time I’ve been here but I wasn’t too satisfied with my meal. Don’t get me wrong the food was great, the chicken was tender the flavouring was yummy. I order 2 wraps and the 5 BBQ thigh combo it costed me about $54 but seriously the amount was really small. I put 3 stars for the friendly staff and nice environment, and the taste.

The quality of the meals is far from where it used to be which is a pity. Every order over the last couple of months has been sub par. No point advertising menu items (like chips with peri peri seasoning) that won’t be supplied.

Went for lunch, quality and service always consistent and good. Great for a quick sit down lunch.

Chips were slightly too spicy(if you can’t eat anything too spicy order the original chips). The burger was great, although spicy as well 😂. The chicken was good but slightly burnt. Original chips were amazing! 4/5

The restaurant was spacious and clean. The floor manager was very aware of the restaurant surroundings and happy to help. We ordered the quarter chicken with large coleslaw and large chips. Food was prepared well, with chicken still juicy. Coleslaw was good but not the best, it taste if the recipe has changed. There was no salt available.

Went here for dinner on a Wednesday night! The service and food were great. I was exhausted from three days of university assignments and fumbled with my credit card, unable to scan it properly until the staff tagged it for me. I ordered the mediterranean salad with chicken tenders and the appearance was 10/10 pretty. For its cost ($16), the taste was also fine! If you download the Nandos app and make an account, you get a free regular chips which is pretty cool!

Bathroom filthy!!! 🤮 No cutlery or drinking glasses. Only takeaway cutlery after a long wait. Menu reduced. NEW broccoli side not available as Manager has permanently withdrawn it! 😢

Our worst Nandos meal so far. We ordered half lemon and half hot chicken. They made both the same. Then seems like redo it by adding some hot sauce in one. When I opened it at home it was 2 big pieces in each box not cut in 8. The chicken bone was red/bloody and was not properly cooked as well and lacked flavour. It was not very busy either and the staff seemed of having an 'over it' attitude towards work. Will not go back again.

We just ordered spicy rice and peri peri fries as take away since we had other food from elsewhere. We ordered large Fries, which were tasty but the peri peri powder was not coated evenly which is a shame. The spicy rice lacked a bit of salt. Service was superb and atmosphere as usual is great in Nando’s. They have a seating area for those who have walked in just to order for take away.

Get a free chips by downloading the Nando’s app before you order . Food was amazing as always . Staff was nice . Not crowded in weekdays to be honest. Loved the peri peri half chicken . It was more than enough for one person. Hope to go back there soon . Service was better than st Luke’s one .

The vege burger patty wasn't burnt or oily which was amazing as all the other places they burn it and its also very oily somehow.. The only thing I didn't like was we went there and were super hungry wanted to order to the counter lady and a guy kept saying order online order online, while they were ready to take order there. Was really annoying and bizarre.

It was 7.45pm and they told us that they can only do takeaway. Quite sure it was way ahead of their closing hour. The service wasn’t great (if any) and it took a long while for the food to be ready. Was a fan of nandos but would recommend all to avoid this outlet unless there’s no other restaurants available on this street.

Can't go wrong with Nandos! Got those coming from abroad (specifically UK), when the menu days "BBQ" it still means you can choose the flavour levels. Also, the wings are bigger here than the UK so listed 4 wings on the menu pretty much matches the UK 5 wings.

So I'd call in now and again after work, for a cold beer, sometimes 2 or 3, while waiting for my partner to finish study. Never a problem until today when the manager on, said I needed to buy food as well. I guess he doesn't want my custom. I will never go back

Real good experience. Extremely friendly staff. Very tasty food as well. Keep it up! Love this place. The location is also wondering right beside queen street! 10/10! Highly recommended for a casual dining with friends.

It is lip smacking good and the portion is outstanding. The Peri Peri sauce is it's USP and it has been favourite chicken spot in the city and I love going back. I believe it's value for money as well for the whole chicken option which you can share with 2-3 people, if you're not starving 😀

Stopped here before heading to a comedy night up the road. We were able to order from our table using a QR code however you HAVE to enter a lot of details such as email and cellphone to I assume serve you marketing materials, which I am not a fan of at all. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the tables were clean and same with the bathrooms. I got a chicken wrap, and my partner had a chicken burger, the meat was nice and moist, and the other ingredients looked fresh. However it was not super flavourful, a lot of the flavour was derived from whatever hot sauce was applied to the meal, rather than any marination on the meat. It did hit the spot though and felt a bit healthier of an option when compared to the other options within 100m. Nando's was also receptive to modifications to my partners burger, removing the onions from it as she cannot eat them, which was helpful.

Chef and staff very selective to whom they give correct portion to. For a $40 full chicken I got 3 drumstick size pieces of chicken and 1 breast piece. The size of the chicken when I looked around was visibly smaller than at other tables with similar order. Staff and chef well aware obviously as they chose who to serve correctly and whom to just dump stuff too. Very disappointed Watch your portion size guys when you order. Fries tasted stale, chicken was below average.

Not a great welcome, had to get staff attention from there conversations to get noticed/ served. Chicken, moist and tasty, coleslaw a bit bland/ tasteless. A pity they don’t serve/ sell coffee etc? Overall service was a bit indifferent 😞

It was my first time getting Nando's because I'm a tourist and because chicken and hot sauce. I was expecting the "extra hot" sauce to be spicier(?) but maybe because I was expecting it, and it wasn't, was a little let down LOL other than that everything was super yummy! Not pictured: Thigh and Slaw burger. Kinda pricey- $85 for small(?) portions. Oh, the halloumi sticks were sad little pieces of halloumi on a plate so I probs won't get those again.

Nando's does not allow pay in cash, that's the only teeny downside for tourists. Other than that, it's so very delicious for a hungry foodie.

Affordable Family treat. Halal Chicken with great taste. Kumara Chips and Garlic bread are good sides… it is semi self service place. Good value for money.

We dined in and scanned the QR to order, but were unable to process the payment, twice (minus for that). Ordered at front and received what we wanted. Mild chicken was flavorful enough, the spice above was spicier but also more acidic, such as buffalo sauce would be. Cold water and clean restrooms here too.

Today I went into the restaurant to have lunch, I was served by this young lady, hair all over her face and she looked like she was completely drained and out of energy, she didn’t even say hello to us just stood there waiting for us to tell her what we wanted to eat. As the manager of this store I’d watch out for this type of behaviour, I’d make sure my staff is 100% able to provide excellent customer service and a smile…. A smile goes a long way……

I recommend going to this restaurant because, literally, everything is excellent. Friendly customer service. Tender and moist chickens and a good amount of food. I love it.

Fast and friendly service. Got 1/2 chicken with mild sauce, spicy rice and garlic bread. Rice wasn't very spicy but had a good overall flavor. Garlic bread was toasted perfectly with good flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly, great char flavor and lots of juice. The mild sauce was very pleasant, lots of flavor and the spice was mild I ended up mixing a little hot with it to bring up the heat a touch. Great food!

Good nanados. All as you would expect. Staff and service was a bit minimal but nothing to complain about. Quality of food was great as usual.
