After waiting for 30 minutes they forgot my chicken nuggets and it wasn’t even busy. They remembered the sauce and not the nuggets what am I supposed to do with the sauce should I post it in my frozen coke which was half water ???? I would give one star if I could . Cheese burger had a stale bun and was as sold as concrete. At least we got to see the full moon

Staff members are friendly, courteous, and patience. Food are up to McDonald's standards and at least on par with any other McDonald's shop. They prepare and made your order reasonably fast. The downside is the queue for drive through ordering is extremely slow. You can easily take a nap while waiting for them to take your order.

Staff are useless. Service is useless. Sat in drive-through for the better part of 30 minutes on a sunday at 11am. Order came out wrong and they didn't give me sauce. Whole staff need a review especially the fat orange haired boy who i suspect is eating food out of customer orders hence the consistent order errors. Don't go here.

Nothing special just another Mickey Dee's. Make sure to check your order when using drive thru. You will need the patience of the Dalai lama to tolerate the wait times after midnight. They consider serviettes a luxury item at this McDonald's & will often leave it out. Nothing worse than having a burger & no tissues to wipe afterwards!

Took almost half an hour for our order. Cheeseburgers had no pickles, drive through customers are walking instore for their orders because they still don't have them. Staff are literally standing there and the customer service is really bad. Floor is in desperate need of a clean. The management is in severe need of an overhaul, staff rely on the management to teach, if they can't do this right, this is what happens. Honestly, avoid.

2 days ago got my order wrong after waiting for ages, waited tonight for almost 25 mins and to find a hair in my burger is disgusting, honestly tired of the service here. Gross

Sunday 6 August 2023. Aggressive customer intimidating someone ordering at the kiosk (1/5 for atmosphere). Victim got a panic attack and asked for help. Staff and security did nothing to evict the culprit (1/5 for service). One immature Chinese adult mocked and degraded the victim. Drinks came out late and was excessively hot (1/5 for food) The second photograph is of a lavatory with marijuana packet.

Long 40min wait through drive thru. Milkshake machine not working. No coffees as they decided to clean the machine at theur busiest time. Burgers good. Dusappointing.

Came here during a week day and I must say it was a pleasant visit. Most times I come here it is so busy I can't even get a table. But it's awesome to see this place as it is. Staff were so helpful and very attentive. Will be coming back.

Went to this McDonald's to take my work break at 8 20 PM and need to use the restroom and to also get food, the doors were looked but customers in the store, one guy and myself were waiting at the door and the stuff member putting at my mask to put it on and I put on my mask, the stuff member then came to the door telling me and the other guy that the store lobby is close, we asked him why are customers in the lobby and he can't give us a answer, unbelievable it's only 8 PM and you had customers in the lobby but can't let us in, they need to rethink their strategy

20 minutes to get our meal. It's not a record but it's up there. Staff stayed calm and friendly though - nice. And, of course, the thick shake machine was out.... Lol. This is what happens when you let the kids decide where to eat lunch. Sure it's better when not overrun. But the food was cold, so that was just not nice not acceptable. Grrr.

Been waiting in the drive through for 35min. Not moving and kind of trapped. I guess this is my life now. Edit - now I have food, ordered large but only got medium supplied, but all is good, no risk of burning your tongue as it is all supplied at room temperature.

They make frequent service mistakes. Last time, they said that I had not paid and asked me to pay a second time, ended up paying double the price. This time, I ordered a two pad burgers, but there was only one.

My partner & I usually treat ourselves to maccas once a week. We use to use uber eats to order food from Quay street, but have now stopped because every single time we order on the app it’s either missing items or it’s not done properly. I won’t lie, I’ve encountered some pretty awesome people that work there but the food is just shocking at this point. And what’s with it being closed all the time? It was even closed at 7pm at one point leaving me with no choice but to order from Queen street (that place is gross do not recommend unless you’re out clubbing or something lol) All in all it’s an annoying experience with them especially because the place use to be top tier🤷🏻‍♀️

I ordered UBER eats for my daughter and her friend and the meal was missing 2 Mcflurries when it arrived. The rest of the food was poorly put together - clearly no care involved - almost inedible. My daughter called the store and the manager was rude and effectively hung up on them. I then called the manager who was rude, referred to me as 'Dude' in a dismissive way and effectively also hung up on me. I wrote in and made a complaint to McDonalds on their website and was ignored. I then called and spoke to them and was advised I would hear back in two days and again I was ignored. I have never complained or had a problem with McDonald in the past but this was soooo bad I took the effort to do so. Clearly McDonalds don't care based on their lack of response on tow occasions. I won't be going back to Quay Street and would advise others to avoid it and most likely I will avoid McDonalds in total, given their overall woeful customer care and service - very poor!

Went late at night so was awesome they were open. Queue was a bit long but when we got to get get our food (at drive thru window), it was disappointing. We got 2 mcflurries and they werent even half full, especially the oreo one... the m&m one filled up a bit more as it melted so fast. Very disappointing...

Chips nice, burger had onions when I asked for no onions. They were good n replaced it. Tables were not cleaned. Bin was overflowing with rubbish. Couldn't even use the bathrooms, had to walk over to kfc.

The service is fast, the scenery is great, and there's even a children's playground

The worst Mac around the world. Staff are looks angry, no catch-up in the package, no tissues, no WiFi, no one clean up the table upstairs.

Service good, food not very good. Way too much mayo on the burger to be able to eat/drive following drive-thru order and when I pulled over to eat the burger, the lettuce looked wilted and brown. Could use some quality control on food or I had bad luck.

Poor kai quality, no frozen drinks available. Took my son here for his birthday, he also wanted pizza, we were approached by the franchise manager who complained that we had brought pizza into his restaurant and called the police on us once we told him to leave us alone. Not inviting, not welcoming! It’s Christmas time and he’s ruined our sons birthday just to look like the “bigger person” In front of his staff meeting. Bins were untidy, toilets in a disgusting state and my cheeseburgers I ordered for my 3 boys were cold.

Was lucky get a bus park, service was quik, & food was great. Upstairs was reasonably tidy, got a surprise to see a family eating pizza, very understanding of Mc D's.

The door will catch you off guard because I was sitting on the table next to the door and was funny watching people pull on a door when it says push. Lol. Top floor is nice and looks good for people wanting to finish some studies. Even though the playground is there too in its own Lil space.

horrific food. worst mcdonald’s i’ve ever had in new zealand. got a big mac it came out no lettuce no pickles no sauce just dry patty and bun. also always takes 10-15 minutes on average as well. go to the kfc next door lol

Gweneth, served us tonight and it was clear that everyone was stressed out (car meet) but she is an angel and she is amazing. And Jamie was an absolute angel too. 100/10 recommend

Came in cause I really needed a poo and wouldn't have made it home in time. Toilets were upstairs which threw me off a bit. Got two BLT bagels once the kids had been dropped off at the pool. Great experience would come again.

Came with my kids for dinner and to use the playground area. Unfortunately we were not able to stay for playing as the air conditioner was on, in a very “cool” mode 🥶 it was freezing. Auckland temperature was 15 degrees that night and the room was probably below that. I asked the manager on site at that time to please turn it off, but unfortunately she said that they were not allowed to touch it and we had to leave (we were not wearing snow clothing ⛄️).

I pop in here at least once a week when for a quick Big Mac. The staff here are awesome. The cleaner lady is the best and always stops to chat with me. Food is your typical McDonald's food they all taste the same to me.

Still a handy option when either heading onto the city or leaving the city. Drive through makes this a quick and easy food order and pick up option.

McDonald's Quay Street use the wooden spoons which make every mouthful taste like sandpaper. Drive thru experience was good though, very friendly service. On a more general note, McDonald's has also changed their soft-serve ice cream recipe and now it's just frozen water with sugar.

Just a busy fast food joint, came here on several occasions, and it's always busy with people picking up orders (UberEats) or drive through or dine in. Kiosk is often not working, either the touch screen or out of paper. Nothing special or fancy about here, the toilet is upstairs. Enough parking outside....

Great staff and the food was tasty. I like this McDonald's as it has upstairs and downstairs for seating good view. Would recommend

Poor customer service. Order coffee. After 10 mins n still no served till I can’t wait any longer so ask at counter, they just realized that they forgot the order while there are 10 staff n zero customer but me just ordered the coffee. What the heck. Staff all busy gossip n talking n no service. Seriously? What the heck? So rude n no apologies n also don’t understand how to read the order. As keep giving us wrong coffee n qty. omg.

Absolutely disgusting, one of the busiest store in the city and just so disappointing that you can't enjoy a good meal in this state, management may need reviewing by head office. I have read thru the comments and poor ratings and complaints, bid the question does Macdonald even read these comments and what are they doing to resolve some of the issues.
