They did not take a booking well..even after calling them 3 times. The person wasn't able to understand a dinner booking for 5 people (weird for a restaurant).. They did however, arrange our table and accommodate us on arrival.. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The food was awesome. And the shisha was very very good. So this definitely made our experience better.

Very modern and cool looking restaurant/bar. We had the vegetarian pide, garlic bread and the chicken garlic pasta. The food was good and the waiter/service was vers helpful and nice. We visit for lunch at sunday so the atmosphere was very relaxed

The night and day experience is like night and day, my experience is based on the day time. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Based on the lunch menu the prices are very reasonable with most options being $15 or $20. Food was really good with generous portion sizes, came out quickly and I had no problems with it. At least during the day I would highly recommend it, during night is a total different environment.

Not the same place as it used to be. The coffee machine is often broken, the quality of food is poor, and shisha is disgusting. I used to enjoy this place in the past. But not anymore. Service is bad now too

Went in for the bottomless and had the most amazing time! Staff were AMAZING, the drinks were topped up as soon as they were empty and sishia changes were so fast. I was served by the mist amazing waiter named Jordan and the manager (Shannon I think) was so welcoming to our whole group! Food 9/10 Drinks 10/10 Staff 100/10 Can not wait to return, highly recommend

Every time I come here for some reason, I leave legless. The vibe is always amazing and the drinks too easy to go down. Absolutely favourite place. Never liked shisha till I came here. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Honestly the Shisha is one of best out. The staff have an amazing welcoming vibe and it's a good place to grab a bite to eat or take your mates for a drink. The managers are awesome too, Amey and Shannon. Definitely recommend this place if you want smooth Shisha, a great customer service experience along with delicious food and beverages.

Incredible management (Shannon) has made this one of the best shisha spots in Auckland. Awesome shisha, good vibes, cocktails are delicious and the food is yum. Turkish bread and dips is the perfect entree. Pumping on the weekends and super chill on the weeknights.

LOVE THIS PLACE really cool vibe all the staff are so much fun and make customers part of the serai family, jordan was taking care of us, best night out in a long time thanks to him. prices are always cheaper than most other bars happy hour. Food and shisha are of the best quality too

Shannon is the best manager I’ve ever seen. I hadn’t been out in akl much, I travel all around the world and have truly found a favourite spot and even a friend for life I think! Good vibes. They make everyone feel comfortable and the service from all staff is immaculate . I cannot wait to return to NZ to visit and hang out with the people there !! Xx

My friends go here so often that they've met their significant others here and still go there after breakups - nothing keeps them away. If I had to file a missing person's report I'd probably check here for them first. It's a good time.

I love this place. Gives you a very cozy feeling. Their open steak sandwich and chicken were absolute scrumptiousness. I have attached the food pictures. The barista was very friendly and the attendants were very approachable as well.

Like the vibe of this place and customer service is good. Just need to work on food quality. Its very highly priced so it need to justify the price. Our food was over cooked and had no flavours. This place surely have the best sheesha and wine. Atmosphere is great but really need to work on food side. As I have had dinner there several times , I decided not to go there anymore for than sheesha.

An amazing night at Caravanserai. Relaxed vibrant atmosphere combined with super friendly and helpful staff and amazing food at more than reasonable prices makes this restaurant a location you must visit!

Came in a month ago. The melon flavored shisha was nice but it was disappointing to wait close to 40 minutes after initially ordering the watermelon shisha just for them to come back and tell me that they didn't have it in. Their pizza is okay. Good vibe to the place. Would recommend but make sure to ask them if they have whatever shisha flavor you're ordering to avoid a long wait at the table.

Good Shisha. Very good pizza. They sell bitter black beer which is rarely available. The music was good too. The price of Shisha was $40 while the cafe next door sells a Shisha for $45.

What a dope place. I’m so excited to hang out here more. Friendly staff. Menu has plenty of options. Really generous portions. Lots of drink options too. Will definitely try shisha here one evening. My brother and I both LOVED our delicious food, and we will absolutely be back.

If u coming from the USA lookin for fun on a weekday DO NOT COME HERE. Employees were drunk. We never got our drinks we ordered because they ran out of beer but never told us til we asked 3 different people 5 different times. Every employee was drunk. Only 1 employee wasn’t and that was the cook. Terrible USA tourist experience!

Amazing food and amazing customer service! As a vegetarian, I am always hesitant about ordering food. However, it was a beautiful meal and right serving size.

Ordered tap beer, pizza and cocktail, beer tasted like plain soda… cocktail was just sugar n juice. Quality of pizza was really bad. Not going back to this place ever again.

Ever since its been under new management the standards and the services have gone so down. Have been coming to this place from last 8 years, have never had any bad experiences under ram (old manager) Never coming back highly disappointed

I’ve been in this place a multiple times, the survice is wonderful, I’m happy with waiters and the bartenders. I’ll definitely recommend a strawberry cream cocktail HOWEVER I would never recommend Margherita pizza as it tastes like a complete puke, no joke. I took a bite and it flashbacked me to horrible drunk nights were I threw up all over the place and it’s the same freaking taste as that horrible pizza!!!

The shisha burns fast all the time and the food is kinda confusing, they call themselves Turkish but the food is more like mixed with Asian food. I used to take my clients there, but the service was poor and the music was so loud 🤦🏻‍♀️ I couldn't even hear my clients. But the owners are nice that's all I can say. They need to focus on the business not just leave it for the staff to run it. That's just my opinion ☺️
