An amazing night! Great service, very friendly and super attentive; topped up water and drinks without much delay. Food comes as soon as it's ready meaning you have hot and freshly prepared food! Everything on their menu is designed to be shared so perfect for two or a group of people. Very comfortable seating and a spacious table, great feel/vibe to the restaurant also. All the food was delicious and presented beautifully. Such a great feast, would highly recommend to anyone! Just wished they provided a steak knife for the rib eye 😊

Was a good experience of Mediterranean foods. Our waiter was awesome & was very helpful with my daughter's all nuts allergies. My son's 18th birthday celebration dinner was superb. Must try their pork belly & bbq Octopus. Yummy!

Located at the heart of the popular Parnell Road, this Greek fusion restaurant is an awesome place to enjoy the beautiful Greek cuisine. The bbq eggplants, meatballs, cauliflower as well as the desserts are all delicious. There are beautiful seatings upstairs and downstairs including big tables for big group. The service is wonderful, staffs are professional and experience. Happy to come back to try other dishes.

Had a wonderful dinner at Gerome. Friendly staff and very attentive service. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower.

We had dinner at Gerome a couple of weeks ago for my mother’s 65th and we had an unforgettable meal. The food is outstanding. We haven’t tasted anything else in Auckland that compares. We even ordered dessert though we are not dessert people! The staff were attentive. Looking forward to returning again!

Always a good reliable lunch here. Pictured is the lamb, chicken, eggplant and meatball option (forgot what meat it was), all from the lunch menu. I recommend the chicken!! The house made bread and dip is also delicious so fresh, def order some to share. 🤤🤤

Had dinner here with my family,dishes are good for sharing,loved the lamb meatballs dish,the chicken skewers, dumplings,pita bread was soft. dessert was good , service was excellent. Will definitely go back to taste other dishes

Absolutely the best food and superior service. All designed to make our dining experience for my special birthday faultless. Friendliest waiters and perfect food. Even the children loved it. Thanks for the best lunch ever!

A somehow good experience. The entrée was blow expectation. The pita covered with cheap can ground garlic. Very pungent and low quality ingredients shouldn't be used in this high standard restaurant. The chicken skewers was amazing with the cheese sauce. So does the both main. Very well done tinder and juicy. Loved it. Good dinner experience with very good service and nice dining environment. Might come back again. 8/10.

Very classy setting ...great ambience .. great music. We were seated upstairs and Argentina paid my the staff were great . Everything topped up and they frequently came to check. It was a busy Saturday night but they handled it well. Drinks range is quite good. My 13year old enjoyed her mocktail too.

I really have to leave this review! This was my 2nd visit, worst than the first! Not coming again! “Bland”, “Boring”, “Bad” food. Avoid at all cost! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t be fooled by the restaurant’s aesthetic ! - I could’ve dined elsewhere, totally regret it, $109 RIP. ~ chicken skewers: Below average! Bland, no flavour whatsoever! 👎 - $21 (overpriced) ~ barbecued octopus: SALTY & terrible taste… Couldn’t take another bite. Sadly had to leave it. 🤢🤮 - $25 ~ barbecued chicken thigh: DRY, BLAND, BORING! 👎 - $36 (definitely overpriced) WILL NOT RECOMMEND! 👎

Delicious Mediterranean food, and great venue to catch up with friends. Would recommend sharing everything, particularly the eggplant - loved the different textures in the dish! Not too difficult to find parking and they have great service too. Would return for sure!

Our first restaurant on our New Zealand trip and it was a very good start. We were very hungry and ordered a lot of food: pita bread + hummus, pan-fried cheese with figs, meatballs with red spicy dip, chicken skewers, chicken thighs with green risoto, pork belly and prawn dumplings. It was too much for the two of us :) Everything was really good (except for the dumplings). I am not a fan of pork belly but it was delicious! The pear chutney was stunning. I would recommend the meatballs, cheese and pork belly. Quick service and nice atmosphere. (Visited Jan 23)

Restaurant setting & decor were nice , food was excellent everything we tried was tasty, service varied throughout the dinner , the only downside for us was the burning grilling smell from the kitchen plus the fishy smell of the the seafood every now & then , will definitely be back but will choose a table a way ftom kitchen.

Was taken here for a mid-week birthday lunch & was not disappointed. Interesting set-up with some booth-type seating as well as small tables for two. There are also some tables outside at the front of the restaurant & stool seating at the bar. The restaurant was busy - a sign perhaps of its reputation? The food was simply delicious - Mediterranean/Greek inspired. We had lamb & beef meatballs & slow cooked lamb which was tender & juicy. The flavors were superb. Lovely wait staff - attentive without being intrusive. Can't comment on the value for money as I didn't pay the bill, but I will certainly return as the experience was very satisfying.

The dishes were delicious and well served. The highlight was every dish and experience with one low light being the market fish combination. We didn't quite like the combination.

Modern Greek - loved the taramasalata in pots; good olives, salad, lamb, snapper to share. I liked the fact there was Seedlip on menu for non- alcohol drinkers. Good, ' quiet' service.

Gorgeous restaurant with attentive staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. The squid was my favourite. It was as soft as butter and melted in our mouths with divine flavours. The octopus salad, spanakopita, eggplant and lamb were also super tasty. What a fab experience.

Service was impeccable! The waitress ensured we always had water at our table and ensured I was never without a drink. She was attentive to our table and clearly took pride in excellent customer service. The Manager approached the table once or twice with such grace and service. Highly recommended this place based on the lovely decor inside and the amazing service you will receive. To top it off, the food was fantastic! Great place to take someone to impress them!

A bit fancier than I am used to, but one of the best foods I've ever had. The chicken ties were absolutely fantastic. I wasn't too expensive, but the high society atmosphere just don't match my taste. Although that part, I'll definitely make the effort to go again!

Came here for a family dinner and had a lovely time. All the smaller dishes were 10/10, with the highlight being the harissa chicken - absolute perfection. The mains didn’t hit the spot compared to the starters but were still nice.

First time in Gerome, friends recommended this place - we were two couples and it was such a treat! We had many things to share, everything from pita starter with fantastic dips to lamb shoulder, steak and chicken - absolutely beautiful. Baklava was not anything traditional but tasty nevertheless. The place was buzzing on a Saturday night, thank you Team Gerome!

Incredible experience. The place is very stylish, staff are welcoming and always ready to see to your needs. The food was amazing. We had a selection of their starters instead of a single main. Each one was a fantastic culinary experience.

I’ve been to Gerome 3 or 4 times now and each time the food, service, wine and experience has been exceptional. I went with a group after work this week and all of the food was beyond great, we needed up ordered seconds of the shrimp, eggplant and lamb dishes. Everything tastes so lovely and it reminds me of all the fantastic Greek food I had when I visited Greece. Absolutely love this place for sharing dishes and the wine is always fantastic. Service is consistently great and the space is lovely. Only comment is I prefer to sit downstairs, upstairs when busy is quite noisy.

First time here and food was delicious, service absolutely lovely. Gorgeous looking restaurant too with beautiful décor. Sorry guys can't give 5 stars though as while the meals were lovely I just find that for the mains, $42 for lamb and $36 for chicken is fairly pricey and would have expected a few veges maybe included? Seems we now have to pay for these separately ... I do understand that restaurants were hard hit for 2 years however i don't think throwing a few veges on the plate is going to cut into your profit margins too much ? Also we got the prawns for entrée, 5 on a plate and Greek donuts for dessert, 3 on a plate. Because its an uneven number your waiter tried to upsell us but the cost to add extras just wasn't feasible sorry! We would have got more drinks but this would have blown our dinner budget which was $150 - we spend $152.

Get one significantly exceeded expectations. The style and ambiance is really fantastic. The food and service were equally matched! We had pork belly, cauliflower, and several other dishes which were shared family style the drinks were good, and they had proper ice for a fun cocktail. The chicken skewers were not a favorite, but maybe that was just our preference. Overall, Would definitely recommend a visit to Gerome!

Absolutely gorgeous authentic Greek cuisine. Presented very well with all ingredients on each dish complimenting the others in flavors and textures. Very swift service for such busy environment. Food was Absolutely to die for. Lamb meat balls, tarakihi fish, hummus, homemade pita, squid and calamari all were cooked perfectly. A must try place if you were in Parnell.

A warm welcome from one of the owners will greet you on entering. All the staff were very friendly and patently very well trained. Great range of beers and wines. I had Peppered Calamari to start, followed by market fish / Snapper, couscous cauliflower salad, pumpkin skordalia, latholemono dressing. The dish was inspired. It gave me great pleasure to be able to be so positive about the restaurant when I spoke with an owner.

We went here for the husband’s birthday dinner and our experience was absolutely amazing. Everything from ambience to food & service were top notch and left us very fulfilled. We loved each of the dishes we ordered, especially the lamb dishes here are truly good. Can’t wait to visit again for another dine out.

Lovely dinner at Gerome. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Standouts were the chicken skewers, cauliflower and calamari. The building and decor provided a nice atmosphere. Service was also great. Would also recommend the desserts.

amazing experience the host was fantastic he was friendly but not intrusive great product knowledge the food was really good each portion can be shared this wine was the cherry on top if only we got another belly we could fill so we can eat more just gave us more reason to come back
