This hotel is a nightmare!!! The staff at reception are extremely rude!! We have the worst experience in this hotel ever! I arrived in this hotel today with my parents and the hotel promised to let us check in at 2pm during a previous phone call. However when we arrived, the staff told us we have to wait one more hour in a very rude way. I was mad and argued with them because they were talking in a very bad manner. Then can you believe it, the staff called the police and tried to kick us out of the hotel! My parents were both very tired and we had a reservation in the hotel guaranteed by credit card, and they wanted to force us out! The staff even throw our bag out of the hotel although I was trying to talk to them calmly all the time!! This hotel is definitely a nightmare for my family! Our impressions for Spain and Barcelona are seriously damaged by this hotel! Don't go if you don't want to be kicked out of the hotel out of no reason! Don't go!!!

I wish I had a great review to give. We had a great time in Barcelona. But the hotel…. I stayed there with my daughter as part of a group of 11 persons. Three days after checking out, the hotel charged my card for a broken tv. 719 euros!! Not in MY room, not MY tv!!! When I called them, they claimed that they used my card as security guarantee for the whole group!!! I had NEVER agreed to that! I was neither the group leader nor the person responsible! Just a group member! I immediately challenged the transaction with my bank and sent an email to the hotel asking for an immediate refund. They never responded. I’m still waiting for this matter to be resolved.

Just perfect!! Cozy and comfortable room,great sheets, spotlessly clean.They cleaned our room everyday and the cleaning lady was so kind and she even made our staff in the bathroom.The breakfast was great but the same for 6 days. I would like to have something different.Everybody was very kind and helpfull and the hotel was surrounded by great restaurants and bar.My 5th time in Barcelona and it is by far my favourite hotel. Great position, we did almost everything on foot.I strongly recommend it!!!Thank you until next time

3/5 Pros: Location is very central, but still quiet on the weekend. Room and bathroom are spacious. Cons: - Window curtains had large stains on them. Little things like this I notice and it makes me wonder what else they’re not taking the time to ensure is clean in the room - Minibar in the room instead of a fridge which would be nice to keep your own beverages cold - Beds are hard. - Room service menu not appetizing and room service button on the phone did not even work. Tried to call front desk and no one answered. At that point we were hungry, tired, and irritated and opted for Uber eats. - No iron in the room. I went down to reception and asked for one one day and was told it would be right up but waited nearly an hour and by that time we had to leave the hotel. I did not ever receive an iron and didn’t bother to ask for the remainder of the visit. They also provide a bag with only one pack of instant coffee (the other is decafe) knowing it’s a double room, and don’t supply new coffee each day when cleaning the room. Having to ask for things every day can be annoying. - Nice rooftop terrace with a bar but the hot tub is only open until 8 pm which doesn’t make any sense considering the bar is open late and there are people up there anyways. We were not able to use the hot tub since we were out on the town early in the morning and later than 8 pm exploring the city like most tourists. We did not opt for the breakfast buffet, so cannot comment on that.

When I booked the Agoda app, all the pictures(6 pictures) of the standard room had a nice window overlooking the outside streets. I didn't see the picture of the room outside the window surrounded by walls, and I didn't hear the story from the center hotel. But, the room I received was a room with a view of wall, not the street, and I stayed with the curtains closed for 5 days. Don't believe the picture on the ad. I wouldn't have made a reservation if I knew it was a room facing the wall. The room I booked and the room I used were completely different, I felt cheated and very unpleasant. To prevent other future guests from misunderstanding, post a picture that matches the actual room condition on the reservation site and clarify the notice in advance. The act of raising a room with a nice outside view to stay in and actually giving a room looking at the wall is not worth doing in a four-star hotel. Rather, it would have been better if you told me honestly in advance that if you chose a standard room, you would see the view surrounded by the wall, or if you could let me know. Of course, I repeat, then I would have canceled my reservation and gone to another hotel. Later, looking at a review of Google Maps the Center Hotel Barcelona, I found a post posted by another customer who suffered the same damage as me. Anyway, thanks to you the Center Hotel, I ruined my 25th wedding anniversary trip. Look at the photos I posted to see if I'm right or not, and compare the reservation site photos posted on the Agoda app. I don't know if the responsibility for posting the reservation site photos is in Agoda or the center hotel, but I hope the hotel takes responsible action. I asked the front desk that the air conditioner wasn't going down 26 degrees, but I didn't get any action, I didn't get any explanation. To be honest, I don't expect there to be any action to write such a review, but I leave a long review to prevent other victims. Because honest reviews are important.

Very bad front office service, the front office receptionist on the 2 nd september was very rude and incorrect with us. She insisted that we needed to pay a second time despite that we had already paid the day before. We had to ask her several times to check because she didn't believe us ! To finish, when she saw their mistake she didn't even apologize... Horrible. We had booked two rooms for our parents for our wedding and we had this shameful experience. No professional at all.

The worst experience ever. My girlfriend left her backpack with wallet inside the room and we left for couple of hours. Next day she saw that 300€ are missing. We report to management and turn out the only person who entered the room was the bellboy exactly in the time we was out. We filed also report to police. Now the bellboy is off work we can guess why. The management is absolutely useless offering no support or whatever trying to cover their staff. Holiday ruined because of this joke hotel. Be careful where you staying and avoid at all cost this hotel

Rooms were stale and musty. Also had mold in multiple places of the bathroom. Bed was rock hard. Also the 1st floor and second floors constantly hear the train every 2-5min from 4am-11pm. Location was fine, but not a place I’d ever suggest someone stay with many other close options.

Certainly the worst customer-oriented hotel In which I have ever stayed. My pregnant wife had a food poisoning (outside the hotel) and was sick all night and still sick in the morning. I have asked to checkout at 16:00 instead of 12:00, so my wife could stay in bed (she couldn’t not stand long and it was 30°C outside). They answered that the hotel was fully booked and they couldn’t do anything, not even allow a late check out at 14:00. I said that I was willing to pay anything extra, even for bigger rooms but they said again that the hotel was full. Then I have checked on their website and saw that they still had 2 available junior suites (still not rented at 11:30). But, well, better wait & see if their can get more money rather than helping a sick pregnant woman, right? So I have ended up paying the suite room at full price (same as online price), for 5h, to let my wife sleep. Oh and I loved that I have been told that « we would love the room and it’s terrasse ». Yeah sure.

The female receptionists were unfriendly, and that immediately put us off. The bathroom was moldy, and the hotel noisy. You could here the train passing, even at night. Thank god we were there for one night only. Would not recommend at all.

The trifecta - price, location, and staff! This little gem is situated in a wonderful location within walking distance to many Barcelona attractions. The rooms are small, but clean. Every staff member I encountered was helpful and happy. And the price just can’t be beat.

Had meetings in the quite privately located rooms close to the lobby. Very conveniently organised. I liked what I used - friendly and nice.

This was not a 4* hotel. Everything was old, (towels were yellow instead of white) needs maintenance (toilet does not flush properly) very old hair dryer, you can hear the noise from other rooms/hallway and the metro lines pass under the hotel and you can hear it at night. etc. Staff was nice and polite. Location was very good.

Truly exceptional Liked it · Perfect from the first moment. Comfortable accommodation with a fitness center and a jacuzzi on the sunny terrace. Breakfast great. Great selection. Accommodation in the city center. Good accessibility everywhere, even to the airport. For my birthday, I even had a present in my room. A bottle of champagne. For which, of course, I thank the hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is pleasant. I will definitely visit this hotel again. I recommend.

Great upgraded room, totally disappointed in the mattress. It should be mandatory that people who work here try and sleep on these rock hard uncomfortable beds and then tell management these are awful - don't allow paying guests to sleep on these! After walking 10 miles today I'm extremely disappointed in what is otherwise a beautiful hotel. The rooftop bar area is beautiful, but closed.

We had an excellent stay for 3 nights and 4 days. The staff was really wonderful and we were greeted very warmly by Waqas upon arrival, and granted an early check-in after an overnight flight. The room was very comfortable and the location is perfect to explore Barcelona as all major areas are within walking distance. Multiple metro stations are around and getting a taxi off the street is possible from the porch. Perfect hotel to stay at while in the magnificent city!

The hotel has a perfect location and you can reach most of the touristic places by walking distance or very quickly by taxi. The staff and the service was flawless. All of them were always very friendly and attentive to details. The rooms were not in the best condition to be honest and were pretty old (we also found a few broken stuff inside) but they were nicely cleaned every day. The hotel has 2 beautiful Jacuzzis on the terrace. If you want to enjoy some lunch or dinner at the hotel's restaurant you will enjoy it as the food is good and the prices are great too! The hotel has a hig breakfast area with a lot of options. Overall, the hotel is very nice and will really ease your stay at Barcelona.

Older style room that is close to everything. However, you are made to feel uncomfortable by having to request for more supplies of tea,coffee, soap etc. Bathroom towels are old,yellow and not fluffy. Apart from that the room is clean and somewhat noisy from the underground train that does stop around midnight.

Overall our stay was fantastic. The hotel is in a great location. The staff is super accommodating and helpful. It’s safe. They always have a security guard at the front. It was three of us staying in one room, and I have to say it was perfect. I really do care about cleanliness, and it was a pretty clean hotel. Our beds weren’t all that amazing but I had a great night sleep. But what I really want to emphasize is the location of this hotel, walking distance to everything, Taxi stand right outside of it, and I didn’t use the bus but it’s somewhere around a Hotel as well. I loved our stay. Will come back to the same hotel again in the future.

The superior rooms are spacious and nice, staff is alert and helpful as well. Location is great, just a block from the Rambla and lots of restaurants in the nearby area, as expected in the center.

The staff has been very friendly. For Spaniards, who in my humble opinion, aren't known to be customer service oriented, they have been very accommodating.

This hotel is fantastic; from the balcony, you can enjoy views of the bustling street at night and the stunning sunrise in the morning. A beautiful sunset can be seen through the rooftop. The personnel is incredibly friendly, and breakfast is excellent.

Room was good. Location is a bit far from main touristy areas, eg La Rambla. Staff was very unfriendly. Specially the reception folks.

Overall a nice hotel with a good location, the staff were very professional and helpful. I would definitely pick the same hotel next time. Breakfast was ok. I was impressed with the fact that the staffs were very attentive to COVID restrictions. I am deducting one star because of the traffic noise at night. I am a little sensitive to noise when I go to sleep, and I could hear all the two-wheelers and other traffic. Apart from this, thanks everyone to make our stay nice!

Great hotel. Shame parking was full. Breakfast is good. Dinner is hmmm... Hmmm Menü with 5 options each day the same. And for me it just wasn't my choice. But otherwise, good clean rooms and bed. It ain't cheap. But yeah central Barcelona so yeah....

We were staying only one night there. Rooms are very loud. You can hear all the traffic through the night or people talking in the floor. Breakfast is terrible. Eggs taste like paper. Fruits were frozen. Usually, you get in a hotel a complimentary bottle of water in a room. Not in this one. I could go on with many other things but value for money is really bad at this hotel.

Great location with walking distance to all the must-sees. Breakfast was OK, although the main restaurant area on the ground floor was always full during our visit. Unfortunately, the tapas that were served for lunch and dinner were a disappointment.

Can be better. We have travel from Hawaii, to Barcelona for 2 days, called before arriving and they agreed of giving us earlier check-in like 1pm.. nope, you have to wait until 2pm or 3pm.. sad but true

I’ll give them a two stars only because they where close to the city center . The room was old and the courting had holes in them , the toilet didn’t work ( I told them about it - nothing happened didn’t send nobody) , the sheets had also few holes also mentioned nothing happened !! For a 4 stars hotel with such high prices ! I was disappointed

The best customer service in the world. We were upgraded to the Junior Suite which we didn't expect and we were literally blown away by the customer service. Attention to detail was exemplified. Great location with walking distance to all the must-sees. We literally walked everywhere from the hotel. Very central location.

It's a ridiculous hotel. I needed to sleep one night for professional commitments, and this hotel says it has 4 stars. After 5 minutes in the €150 room, I asked to change because that one was dirty (not according to them), but the new one had many other problems, like the shower spraying water all over the place. From the outside and the photos, it looks nice, but in reality, it is abandoned. I wonder what standards those who leave 5 stars reviews are used to. The position is the only good thing for tourists.

Great location, great service. Our suite was nice (very spacious) but we had some trouble figuring out the lights and had some issues with the tub tap. The restaurant on the main floor was underwhelming. But overall, great place to stay.

Friendly staff, they spoke English which was very useful for a tourist like me. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant and breakfast at the hotel was good. My only complain is the room. There is no shower, it’s just a tub. I think I expected a lot more. The rooftop had a nice vibe too!

This hotel can't be qualified as 4star hotel. The way they answer to their client is like slap to the face, they have no sense of customer service. The price is expensive but can't even request a double bed 1,5 month before arrival.
