We decided to book a suite as we were traveling with a toddler, this gave us lots of room. The hotel were very accommodating; providing a cot in the room and a highchair at breakfast. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was what you’d expect with lots of choice from hot food to cereal. Hotel was well located, close to the metro and bus stops for moving around the city. A number of restaurants within walking distance for dinner. Great hotel, friendly and welcoming staff. Would recommend.

We had a stay overnight at the hotel having been on a 2 week cruise. Even though we arrived very early (9am) in the morning the staff were extremely helpful and we were able to leave all of our luggage (7) with them so we could go out and explore Barcelona. When we got back after 9hrs we were greeted with a friendly face and a glass of champagne. They had already taken our bags to the room. The room itself was very spacious and clean. It had all of the emenities you wanted. Small bar fridge, good size TV. The room slept the 3 of us easily and the bathroom was great. Once showered and changed we went to the rooftop bar which had lovely views across the city. It also had its own good sized pool. Food and drink prices are good and the bar stays open until very late. Would definitely go and stay there again as the location was very good for shops, metro and restaurants.

Super nice hotel, very well located. The room in the pictures is room 622. Exceptional to be able to sleep with the window open in such a big city without too many noise. The breakfast is good but the room is a bit small. The pool is very small but enough for small kids. A bit more shade on the terrace would be nice. Personal is awesome and very nice to the guests. The rooms are very clean and the beds very comfy. Good job.

A lovely hotel, staff were very helpful and welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed in order to enjoy our stay. It was very easy to communicate with reception when we needed fresh towels etc… Our room was very nice, we were on the 5th floor. I do think that there could be some improvements made in order for a more pleasant stay however we did enjoy our weeks stay. The bathroom was equipped with all the essentials, also many goodies like shower caps, shaving kit, dental kit, shoe shine kit and comb which was a very nice touch. The room has AC and a fan which was very convenient and easy to use, lots of lights a sockets, I did like how the door had a mirror behind it but there was no mirror on the dressing table which was inconvenient. The minibar had a good selection however when opened a misty smell came out so we did not feel comfortable using anything from there, the coffee machine was dirty we tried to rinse it out with boiling water but did not work (if you stay please check beforehand). Loved the balcony and double door panning very peaceful, the room could have done with a gown and slippers as it was hard floor. We had had to ask reception for the ironing board and when we allowed cleaner she took it so we had to ask for it again multiple times. Breakfast was nice with lot of variety to choose from, 8th floor was nice to sit down in the evening very relaxing, didn’t get a chance to use the pool as it was always busy. Tv was complicated to use. I would recommend this place and obviously hope that constructive feedback is taken and positive changes and made - might stay again? Thank you to all the staff who made our stay pleasant.

Beautiful!!! The rooms are modern, minimalist and clean. I love all the mirrors, the usb connection and the plug for US devices. I’d add usb c to the plugs as well. Overall, location is great, easy to get taxis. Staff is nice and breakfast is great. I’d come back to this place.

Absolutely brilliant hotel in the city centre of Barcelona. When we arrived they offered us an upgraded room (at a cost of course) which we took, and it was well worth it. It was a superior room on the top floor. They even gave us a glass of prosecco for the upgrade! The room was very modern, clean and comfortable, it was well laid out, but on the small side. We had a window which looked onto the street. The bed was a large queen and was very comfortable. The room came with a bath which was great also. The air conditioning is fine, if not a little under powered but there is also an overhead fan which helps with the issue. There is a coffee maker and complimentary water which was great. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. The staff are also extremely helpful and kind and would greet you coming into the hotel. We didn't get breakfast here, but there is a great restaurant across the street that does fantastic breakfasts if you don't fancy eating at the hotel The only issue I had was with the hot water for the tap and shower. For some reason you have to leave the water running on hot for maybe 2 or 3 minutes, sometimes longer, before you get any hot water at all. And while doing this the tap is very loud because it pushes air through the pipes quickly and sputters water. Then when the hot water eventually comes on and you hop into the shower, it will get piping hot and then freezing cold randomly throughout. The hot water is also incredibly hot so be careful and never turn up the heat too high. The rooftop bar is very nice and the cocktails are great and a reasonable price. The pool as everyone mentions is small but it's great just to sit in and relax in the Barcelona heat. You won't be practicing your back stroke unfortunately but it is very nice to cool off. Other than that great hotel in a good location, just about a 10 minute walk from Placa De Catalunya, with different bus stops outside and a metro about 5 minutes away.

Really excellent hotel. Worth the extra for the newer rooms. The breakfast buffet has everything and the service is exemplary. Had a large group of family members and they made the trip really stress free and pulled out all the stops for us to enjoy. I would definitely stay there again. Also had dinner in the bar which was very good. Thank You!

Awesome staff, all so helpful and polite. Small shops , cafés and restaurants near the hotel. And the roof terrace is such a nice place to hang out.

The room and staff were great. We chose the superior classic room and stayed there the whole trip (4 nights). The room was spacious with huge bed and a sofa. AC and TV easily controllable. Both bath tub and sperate shower available. Coffee machine and iron with board in room. Located 2min walk from L1 metro station. Staff was very helpful and positive from the first day till last. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. The toom was prepared ahead of time. Would recomend to a friend.

Only had 1 night in Barcelona and so glad we chose H10 Casanova. Perfectly located and less than 5 mins from Universitat metro station. Upon arrival, we realised the Ona Lounge was being refurbished but this at no stage impacted our stay. The usual welcome drink followed by the news that we had use of the Deluxe Suite was just the type of start we loved. The staff on reception were so friendly and professional which really showcased H10 and what a great hotel chain it is. Our room was sheer heaven, more room than you can imagine. Separate living room, 2 toilets, 2 showers, closet area and more goodies in the room than expected. More chocolates and wine arrived unexpected which went down a real treat. The roof terrace bar is sooo nice, views are great and can only imagine what it's like in the summer with the plunge pool. Although it was mid December, it didn't stop us enjoying the terrace before going out and also before we had to leave for the airport. Breakfast selection was brilliant and the 3 ladies who were looking after everyone, worked so hard to ensure everything was in place. We cant praise H10 Casanova enough and have to say a big thank you to all the staff, you really made a difference. We've just booked to come back next year and cannot wait to see the new look reception and Ona Lounge. Just love being a Club H10 member. All the best and see you soon

The reason I choose this hotel was that they had a functional spa. I check notification on the site and there was nothing saying its going to be shut, and more importantly that the hydrosuites were out of order! Very dissapointed since there were tones of hotel of which I could book with. So felt this was slightly deceitful to say the least. However, the staff were nice, especially Nelson thr guy that checked us in and his English language skills were brilliant and hygiene wise was immaculate, very impressed. We have had a "Merry Christmas mini chocolate" to wish us on Christmas eve and every day complimentary coffee for our nespresso machine in the room and a bottle of water. Also the roof terrace is only used to order food from the hotel which was rather annoying. The breakfast is in a basement room without any sun or windows and rather packed tables, so for the price of 19 euros I found it rather inappropriately priced and not a feature of a good four star hotel. The room was small, we could hardly pass through the furniture and the bed. Although I have to say the bed and pillows were really comfortable, sadly there were two beds connected which again wasn't ideal, since I asked for double room. The room was hot during the night and the air conditioning was making the atmosphere extremely dry, so not great. Perhaps choose the deluxe rooms that are located internally, which means you could open the windows and not have extreme noice. They are doing some works in the hotel therefore maybe in the future they will revamp. Check it out if you want to book the next months and make sure you ask if the spa facilities are fully working (they will though charge you high if they are e.g 48 euros per hour per person to use the steam room!). Last but not least room service in a four star hotel shouldn't be charged, at the end of the day this isn't a bed and breakfast right? . It's a hotel and I am paying a lot to stay in and to use the facilities, so I definately thought this wasn't a feature for a four star hotel. Hope this helps the hotel and the future clients.

Great location and stuff but I expected much more out of this H10 hotel. Gym is essentially not working, room is clean and all but far from a 4 star standard.

The first room was in such a bad State, looked like they had forgotten about it since the 90’s. We got moved to another room, However the aircondition was unadjustable, and the mirror was all rusty around the edges. However, amazing service and amazing location

My stay at H10 Cassanova in Barcelona was incredibly disappointing. We initially intended to book a room at H10 Art Gallery, but unfortunately, they were fully booked. The service at H10 Art Gallery, despite being unable to accommodate us, was impeccable. The desk personnel there were exceptionally kind and professional, even offering us drinks as we waited to be booked at H10 Cassanova. However, our disappointment began as soon as we arrived at H10 Cassanova. The hotel room had a persistent and overpowering sewage odor, which resulted in frequent disruptions to our sleep. The situation was far from pleasant, and the staff at the front desk seemed disinterested and annoyed that we were checking in. In conclusion, I cannot recommend H10 Cassanova to fellow Americans visiting Barcelona. The stark contrast in service between H10 Art Gallery and H10 Cassanova left us extremely dissatisfied, and the unpleasant odor in the room only added to our disappointment. It's safe to say that this was not the experience we were hoping for during our stay in the city.

This hotel made our trip in Barcelona great, as the standard of cleanliness and comfort was on point. The breakfast options were varied and sizeable, with hot and cold continental breakfast options (meats, cheeses, yoghurts, juices and hot drinks). The best thing about the hotel was probably the fantastic views from the window (we were on the 6th floor for reference). The hotel also has a pool (did not have time to try it but it is an option), a spa (likewise not tried). Also, only 3 minutes walking away from a metro station (Urgell, on L1, which is also one of the arguably most important metro lines to get to touristy locations). Would definitely consider staying here again.

We were a little concerned when reading the reviews but delighted when we arrived. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms stylish and fresh and the shower was incredible!

This is a nice hotel with a great location. Some of the rooms have been renovated. There is no noise isolation between rooms but the outward facing rooms have a very good isolation against noise from the streets. The breakfast is OK and the staff are excellent. A small gym (that was locked) sinks my grade from four to three. Real four star hotels need a good gym and sauna. I might stay again for the location.

One of my favorite Hotels in Barcelona. Great Location, nice rooms, comfortable bed, friendly stuff, good breakfast, parking/garage, nice roof top and swimming pool. Unfortunately there's a very small fitness room which is pretty over heated. I can totally recommend it.

The hotel was clean, great location, reasonably priced and we loved the pool on the top floor. Enough for a dip and to lay out with a wine. The breakfast was also wonderful with a good offering for pretty much everyone.

Very good rooms. Only one issue where we were given cards to a room that was already occupied. A bit unsettling knowing that it is possible that somone else could enter the room if we are out. The staff quickly sorted this, but still shouldn't really happen in the first place. Other than that, great service!

Great place to stay. Reasonable prices and helpful staff. Roof bar was great. The only one thing I'd say is the bathroom needed some TLC. The shower grout was eroded away in places and the shower head was blocked almost by limescale. Also the shower temperature regulator was unreliable. Nothing too difficult to fix.

Really lovely hotel, the welcome was fantastic. Lovely glass of cava whilst we checked in. The reception team were smiley and polite. The room we had was quite spacious and had a nice bathroom. I had messaged the hotel before we arrived and they responded really quickly with information for us. We were also very touched by a kind gesture for our honeymoon which was brilliant. Room was clean and had lots of soundproofing which was welcome. The hotel offered a great breakfast full of different selections, drinks and was all well stocked. We didn’t use the spa facilities as we were exploring but we were tempted! The pool top bar was not open when we visited but the terrace is lovely and imagine it to be a sun trap in the summer months. The hotel was a perfect position for us to walk to all the sights we wanted to explore, the beach, the port, la ramblas, Parc Guell, sagrada familia, Olympic park, botanic gardens, aquarium and is surrounded by restaurants and bars so you can take your pick. Reception also arranged our transport to the airport kindly too. All in all an excellent and memorable trip as part of our honeymoon. Thank you!

Overall we had a nice stay... Until I found out a credit card was left in the room. Which I found out after I received a message that someone tried to use it the day after I left. I contacted the hotel asking if they found something, they confirmed that the card was held securely at front desk (and they reach out to people themselves for this stuff??). When I confronted them that someone tried to use it, I was brushed off saying that I was my fault I left it (partly true) and impossible that someone of staff used it (while I had the proof with exact time when it was used). For a nicer hotel, it was a bad customer experience, unwilling to help, unresponsive, saying I should just go to the police... Clearly someone there can't be trusted...

Brilliant location with reasonable prices considering that. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rood terrace great for relaxing after a long day sightseeing. All staff were pleasant and professional. Plenty of choices of nearby restaurants. Would definitely return

We stayed for 5 nights while in Barcelona and it was lovely! Features: soft beds, amazing array of high quality toiletries, complimentary cava, access to buses and the Metro. We had a balcony overlooking the main street which we enjoyed on the days it wasn't raining. Overall a great value for the money! We would stay here again if we come back to visit.
