Extremely
disappointed
with
the
hotel
and
with
Bergen
itself.
We
visited
Norway
and
travelled
to
Oslo,
Balestrand,
Flam,
Bergen
and
Alesund
and
I
must
say,
Bergen
was
my
worst
stay
experience
ever.
We
are
globe
trotters
and
have
travelled
the
world
.
If
there
is
one
place
with
the
most
rude
"locals",
Bergen
tops
the
list.
A
lady
in
a
veil
for
eg.
at
Bergen
lectured
me
on
following
rules
while
crossing
the
road
in
Norway
just
when
a
local
Norwegian
jaywalked
the
zebra
crossing.
Either
they
are
racists
or
they
plain
dont
like
tourists.
We
are
Indians
and
the
experience
for
us
was
the
worst.
Coming
to
the
hotel
,
we
had
pre
booked
4
rooms
here
and
had
already
give
our
credit
card
details
.
We
arrived
at
10.30
PM
from
our
ferry
and
on
reaching
the
reception
,
we
were
told
they
could
not
find
our
booking.
After
some
clicks
they
did
find
our
booking
but
could
not
give
us
rooms
since
their
records
showed
that
our
credit
card
was
stolen.
This
same
credit
card
was
with
us
at
that
time
however
they
refused
to
accept
that.
We
had
a
4
yr
old
child
with
us
and
it
was
already
10.40
pm
.Anyway
they
put
this
to
rest
for
the
time
being
and
started
arguing
about
not
finding
all
the
Scandic
friends
membership
numbers
(we
were
8
people
in
4
rooms)
All
their
helpline
numbers
dont
answer
after
7
pm
so
we
were
at
their
mercy.
After
almost
an
hour
they
give
us
the
rooms.
All
were
supposed
to
be
of
the
same
category
but
2
of
the
rooms
were
not
larger
than
a
broom
closet!!!
To
top
this,
the
attitude
really
sucked!
Again
as
I
mention,
either
they
are
pure
racists
or
tourist
haters.
Considering
that
a
majority
of
their
economy
runs
purely
on
tourism
and
majority
of
travellers
are
Indians
of
the
brown
race,
this
reflects
very
poorly
on
them!!
We
were
very
disappointed
with
the
people,
the
hotel
staff
and
the
city
in
general.
I
would
like
to
mention
though
that
Isac
at
the
reception
counter
was
very
warm,
friendly
and
always
willing
to
help.
Will
never
visit
this
hotel
again!
and
a
word
out
to
the
staff
and
the
locals
who
probably
still
believe
that
they
are
supreme,
there
are
way
better
places
for
tourists
to
visit
than
Bergen
where
they
are
treated
warmly
and
with
respect!!!!PS:
We
did
get
to
interact
with
the
Scandic
helpline
number
the
next
day,
and
he
was
the
rudest
of
them
all.
Harshly
asked
us
to
stop
talking
while
he
would
talk
or
else
he
would
cut
our
call.
And
we
are
talking
about
the
"hospitality"
industry
here!!!!!
