Rooms: We got a room with inner doors to the other room (opening them would connect two rooms for families or larger groups). Of course the doors were locked, however there was no sound isolation whatsoever. People in the neighbouring room played music until 1 am, then talked until 2 am, then started loudly talking and laughing from 8 am again. We could hear each conversation like they would be in our room. We didn't get enough rest because of this. Also this removed the feeling of privacy. The rooms were nice considering the price of stay, but the situation with sound isolation overwhelmed everything and made this stay a disaster. Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable hotel. Clean rooms, delicious food, children's room available. I am sincerely grateful to the hotel staff for the warm welcome and shelter. This hotel is very close to the Bergen Airport. The check in was smooth and this place has a very big parking area also. Thank you to the Norwegian people for the opportunity to feel warm and safe.

The closest thing you'll get to apartheid in Norway. Unvaccinated people was forced to use the emergency exit to enter and leave the hotel. They were not allowed to use the restaurant, bar, gym etc. Stay away!

Room was clean! Toilet seat was quiet lose... Maintenance should look into that! Breakfast was excellent plenty of options! Customer service was excellent with plenty of parking. Hotel is near the airport so quiet convenient. Coffee and Water available in lobby through out the day!

Stayed here for quarantine, but my review rating is not meant to represent that. Details on the quarantine parts are last. The hotel is, in general, "OK". The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel rooms are mostly quiet, and the desk area is quite welcome. Having said that, temperature control seems a bit erratic and a very high pitched noise seems to be coming from the air handling system intermittently. The beds are a bit below average for my tastes, with the mattress topper and pillows retaining a lot of heat and causing me to overheat overnight. The shower was reasonably good. As for quarantine, the food was acceptable (and sometimes quite good!), the security team was prompt and available for questions.

It has a big parking lot with few chargers available for EV. The room is clean and comes with a nice breakfast. Have a sauna and a steam room in the basement.

This is a perfectly quiet place to stay with cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff and everything you need. The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast made our morning better, it’s indeed inclusive and versatile.

Decent accommodation, clean and reasonably priced. It’s greatest asset is its parking in case you have rented a car. Mainly used by business locals and -unfortunately - tour operators (presumably since there is parking space for coaches). Therefore may get a bit fussy/noisy. Other than that what you see is what you get.

Das Scandic Kokstad liegt am Rande von Bergen, in der Nähe des Flughafens (man bekommt aber davon nichts mit). Die Zimmer sind normal und unseres war mit einer Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Spüle ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem und das ganze Zimmer inkl. Bad sind sehr sauber. Das Personal sowohl am Empfang und im Frühstücksbereich sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leere Teller werden schnell abgeräumt und das Buffet wird laufend aufgefüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

hotel room was quite small , basic facilities, also bathroom was not cleaned properly we found hairs in shower area. But there is free parking , free breakfast buffet ( with good options even for vegetarians)

We had a very comfortable stay here at Scandic. Staffs at the premises were really courteous and they were always there for help. Facilities were also very nice. Breakfast was awesome 👍 accessibility was also good

Very nice hotel and close to the airport. There is a train station at 2 mins by foot that goes directly to the airport in less then 5 mins. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, very vast choice of food available. The room itself was very clean. 10/10 would recommend.

Yesterday I phoned to ask if they did a Sunday lunch buffet. The man I spoke to said they did and I asked to reserve a table for 2 between 1-1.30 pm. The man told me that wasn’t necessary as they wouldn’t be so busy. Today when we arrived I was told the buffet started at 5.30pm! This was too late for us and we only had an hour before we had to be at the airport (I had chosen this restaurant because of its vicinity to the airport). The man I had spoken to the day before (who had told me they do the buffet lunches) was also on the reception. He did not apologise for his mistake in any manner or form, even when I told him we had a flight to catch in an hour. We then had to find another restaurant which left us 15 minutes to eat our meal before heading to the airport. Disgraceful.

Great comfortable hotel, our room is very very clean, warm and cozy. The reception area is light and bright and feels like home. They even have pool table and two shuffle board tables there. Great hotel with lots of free parking outside. They also offer 4 hours of free charging for your electric car. The only thing I didn’t like was that the breakfast times are shorter on weekdays, and as we where unaware of this we missed breakfast.

Really happy with this place ❤️ I haven't had such a good rest and delicious food for a very long time. The area is so calm and peaceful ❤️

Nice hotel with a very good room, the only disadvantage is the location, its far away from the centrum, but there is a tram that goes regulary, but still its far from the centrum 😅

Service is optimal|passable. Rooms are clean, equipped for children beds but small. Location is far .

Location location... 2 stops with bybanen from Flesland Airport, so not really a airport hotel. And it's 3-400m to walk from the stop. With 2 suitcases it's a bit far. So if you are a family, take a taxi. When you want to go to the city it takes about 45min, endstation of bybanen is where everything happens. Rooms clean, bed comfortable, bathroom clean. But small rooms. Great staff and good food in the restaurant.

Interesting hotel. We needed a place to stay for one night before our morning flight the next day after spending a couple of weeks near Alesund. This was close to the airport and seemed nice. Check in was quick. When we got to our room, we were a little confused as it was my wife, myself, and our teenage son, so we needed two beds. Turns out, they were there, they just folded out of the wall. Rooms were clean. Bonus was the games around the place: foosball, pool, shuffleboard. We ate dinner there and enjoyed the free breakfast. Staff were nice. Would stay again under similar circumstances. 2 minutes to airport.

Great 4-star hotel nearby airport with gym, sauna, games, breakfast and evening dinner. And for solid price. The only thing that was worrying me were super dusty heaters and other appliances. I was afraid to get closer to turn them on not to dust over the whole room.

Close to the tram line that takes you to the city center (5 minutes walk). Staff was friendly and rooms were cozy. Nice breakfast. Earlybird breakfast available (we left at 3 am and were able to eat something).

Since you asked, we were on the one hand very happy with the facilities: sauna, fitness, games etc. Also, the restaurant was extraordinary. On the other hand, we did not appreciate the state of the rooms: On our first stay, the bunk beds were not made, we had to put the linens on ourselves, and we found children's toys and leftover candy beneath the mattress. The toilet was dirty, which I think is gross for a hotel. On our second stay, the shower was broken and the soap was empty (which the staff fixed upon request). All in all, I think if you took better care of the rooms, we would like to come back in the future.

Great team, great price, all good! Expecially suitable and welcoming for families. :-) We were very happy with our stay and enjoyed the games for children and adults in the lobby and the very nice breakfast. Keep on the great job!

Smokers heaven, I think. But terrible place for those that get rooms that have windows facing to the fire stairs. Or should I say the smoking stairs. Twice in 6 days I complained because there was a party right outside my window in middle of the night. I felt that they were little too relaxed in covid prevention. All guests used the same tools to get breakfast. This was during a breakout in Bergen, last week. Once I had fish and chips. And the fish was of quality that is not acceptable so close to the sea. I want stay at this hotel again.

Overall, at all it is really good hotel, but... Standard is not so bad, rooms are not fully clear, but it is not so bad. Food is good, but can be better and more focus to european people. The bad point is the internet. I know that is hotel, but anyway we have 2021 and with ping around 120-150 ms its horrible. I been there 2 times for quarantinee and 3 times in other scandic hotels and this one is worst than the others.

Very close to the airport with a nice restaurant, comfortable rooms, and modern interior.

I arrived the 23th December and the hotel was closed, as I fully realised when I tried to call and the electronic voice answered, even if I contacted them via email about my stay in advance and they confirmed I just had to pop up at the reception and ask for a quarantine room. Neither the border police knew that they were closed. I do not know what happened, but I had a very bad experience trying to get somewhere else on a cold evening when I though everything was planned for good. 😣

I've been staying in this hotel for 2 days in quarantine. The most basic necessities that the hotel should provide are sold with money. I can't go down to the lobby because I'm in quarantine, but when there is a problem, no one picks up the phone. I went down to the lobby once and got a bit of a backlash. When I said that I tried to use the phone and no one answered, they said something like yes, because there are a lot of calls. Not every meal arrives on time as promised. I'm pretty hungry right now because they didn't provide either evening meal or breakfast. (We have to get the meals and breakfasts ourselves from the table in the corridor, but they are not on the table) I am new to Norway, so I do not know if other hotels are like this, but normally it is called bad service. Since it is a quarantine hotel, I did not expect much anyway, but this is still a hotel. It was well below my expectations.

We stayed here for 4 nights in the snowy week of January 2024. The receptionists, the breakfast and the comfort of the hotel was spot on. It’s about a 44 minute tram ride from Bergen city centre, and a 5/10 minute drive from the airport. I can imagine this hotel is more for those who require use of the airport and is a stop for that. The hotel was very warm, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. However, we did notice when we were packing and getting ready to check out. We were undressing the bed to make it easier for the housekeepers, and noticed a yellow stained pillow, which unfortunately for us, we noticed it too late otherwise we would’ve got the pillows switched. We only checked the one pillow as we didn’t want to see the state of the other pillows. Overall 3/5.
