This 5 star is for Mr.Ali ( point hotel restaurant staff) I was staying there for 7 nights, I want to say thank you to Mr. Ali ( the restaurant staff) he was so nice , polite and gentlemen. my leg was in pain and every morning Ali was asking me if I need help . he always smile and treated us politely. I truly appreciate it Mr. Ali ( the restaurant staff) you are a real gentleman 🌷🌷🌷🌷

This hotel isn't 5 stars 1.the walls are very thin and I can't sleeping if guests going to toilet or speaking or opening and closing door you can hear..... 2. Smells the cigarette has in corridor and room very bad, i protest can't stay in the room pls change it but mangers told no your noise has sensitive 3.in the 5 star hotel you have to pay 10€ for gym,pool and etc I won't come back here again

A 5-star hotel, but in fact it still does not live up to the level of 5-star hotels. The level of cleanliness needs to be monitored and quality. The sheets and bed cover were not changed during my stay. Personal care items are incomplete. The breakfast buffet is very ordinary and does not belong to a 5-star hotel, rather than lacks many items such as sweets and natural juices. great location and helpful staff. An experience that will not be repeated as the price of the night reservation is not commensurate with the level and quality of service provided.

This hotel located near by Galata tower. Just 2mins walk from this hotel to Galata tower and Istikalal street. I like its location but if they give you hotel room on 3rd or 4th floor and you have heavy luggage then there is problem because they don't have an elevator/lift. I only stayed one night.

Read the reviews and do not stay here, was supposed to stay 5 nights. Checked out after 2. They charge you for gym (€10) with no explanation and the rooms are so small and stink of cigarettes. Walls are so thin, and it’s noisy downstairs. Breakfast staff are smoking whilst not serving you, selection of food was old. Reception staff are nice, but still can’t rate this more than 1 star. Please stay somewhere else!!

I'm the guest of this hotel right now. It's my first experience that hotel do not care about special event such as birthday and even reception said we do not have better while I saw during that they I found out they had better one. rooms are really small and your windows is compeletly infront of neighbours. Breakfast during 5 days was the same and not goof for 5star. actually you are paying for a 5star hotel to stay in 3 or 4star.

Not a 5 star hotel!!! Dont stay here. -old carpet, cigarette smell in the room, old pillows and bed -thin walls, can hear noise on other rooms. -10 euro per person per day, to use facilities (gym,swimming pool) on a 5 star hotel - Doormans are not welcoming, no umbrella to provide for guest -TV is old (no chromecast to mirror your device) technology in the room is poor. Most of this 5 star review that you see are bought, or paid for, or offered a free stay. This hotel is a 3 stars at its best.

I’ve been to point hotel before and i thought this year it would be the same but the rooms were not clean, they didnt vaccume the floor and even in the non smoking floor you coukd smell the ciggerets! Also the check-in is oclock but they gave us our room at 2.30 after arguing and i had a 2 year old he was very tired and exhusted from the trip. Saddly i dont recommend this hotel any more!

Great hotel, clean, trendy and the staff is amazing and always ready for service. Location is central and everything is walking distance. Suites are about 200€/night.

Point hotel Taksim was recommended to us by a friend and we were very satisfied for picking it for our 5 days stay in Istanbul. First of all the location is excellent, very clean with rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. The hotel has a greta location close to almost everything needed. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and new varieties every day and the managers and staff were always around ready to help and serve for any special request. They were all great but I can name without being specific Ugur Tunar and Seref Firat Ozsuluv. We have also used the pool, the spa (turkish Hammam and massage). The Spa staff were very kind and helpful answering our questions. The Turkish Hammam at Point Hotel Spa was my first experience and I can say that it was an unforgettable one! I had it with deep tissue massage under the amazing hands of Aysegul (Aysha)! I believe that Point Hotel offers a very good value for money and a comfortable stay in a perfectly set location.

The air conditioner did not work in the rooms, as a result it was very difficult to sleep, everyone complained about it and it was not taken care of. There is no option in the room to change the air conditioner and people woke up sweating and we had to sleep with the windows open with noise because of the hot room. We paid a lot of money and it's a shame we didn't receive treatment.

Good hotel in Istanbul, close to most cafes and restaurants in Taksim area. Decent rooms and good service overall. The breakfast spread was good although there were very few veg options.

Worst service....if you visit as guest they will make you feel like bell boy..do not visit this hotel for stay if you are with your family. Rude behaviour of staff. Bell boy says you can take your luggage. if you are visiting turkey, make your mind that you have to pick your own luggage... Staffs doesn't understand proper English . DO NOT VISIT TURKEY.

Me and my mother-in-law stayed herr for 2 days. Excellent room service, perfect all. The best of all is gentleman who works in the restaurant, his name is TALHA. The best man we met in Turkey. Great experience! We stayed at the senior executive suite , it was a huge room with a good sized bathroom, living room and all the facilities. Staff was lovely . We had a lounge access with good views but less food options .Unfortunately the swimming pool and hamam services are mixed and no privacy like a female only area.Good for people who don’t bother with it. They take one piece per clothing for laundry daily and we gave few clothes extra (as the person collecting laundry was lenient with us so we thought they won’t charge ) at the checkout they gave us the bill of €330 (euros😳) but the manager waived the charge when my husband explained him. All in all a comfortable stay . 5 stars

The hotel is old, and the room is also old with old facilities, the sink doesn’t allowed the water to go away. The gym, spa, swimming pool is so expensive. I will not go back to this hotel again.

For taksim square, location of hotel is good. But a lot of cheaper and better options are available in the same lane. Overall average.

Room smells and not clean I waited 1 hour extra for them to clean it they just spray some stuff to take the smell away still not working. Customer service so poor and disrespectful he is name is Samed. I advise anyone to book make sure look at your room before they get you. Never again

Taksim Point Hotel was very good to stay with family and kids. The location is superb,rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The facilities are good and staff is helpful. They allowed us late checkout till 3pm and allowed us to keep our luggage safely in luggage room till 8pm in the night. Would definitely recommend this hôtel for staying in Istanbul. Special mention for Mr.Furkan ,our floor supervisor. He personally visited us and made us feel very special. Thanks a lot everyone at Taksim.

Decent hotel with clean rooms and good bathrooms with hot water, service is fine and they were very helpful and friendly . Breakfast is less I was expecting more from a 5 stars hotel , small buffet. But price was very good compaired to other hotels , location is perfect to go Taksim and Dolmabacha

This is so convenient now. The shuttle from the airport (far away now) stops just in front of the hotel and makes life easy. The breakfast spread is awesomely delicious! The rooms are bigggggg, if u know what i mean! The staffs are courteous and kind.

It was bad experience. They wrote 5 stars hotel but it wasn't 2 stars. They give me room wich is really dirty the carpet is dirty and the bathroom also I can't used. Cobwebs on wood wall. I change three rooms and same problem all dirty . The refrigerator contains only water. It was bad experience I don't recommend at all. My problem it I already paid before arrive that's why I didn't leave the hotel. I have pictures for the rooms with my notice.

We stayed at the Point Hotel for 9 days and had a great experience. From location to services. All were great and perfect. The staff made sure all our needs were met and that we were happy there. I'd go back there any time.

If you are on a business trip, you should think twice before staying at this hotel with an incompetent housekeeping staff that shouts and chats at each other in the very early morning. Very disturbing and disrespectful.

This is not a 5 stars hotel, the hotel photos looks good on the website. Maybe the photos were taken when the hotel is newly opened but now it's looks old. We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 5 nights, we chose this hotel due to location, good price and swimming pool. Only to find out we have to pay €10 everytime you want to use the gym, pool & etc!!! What kind of 5 stars hotel is this? I've stayed before on a 5 stars hotels and this is the first time I've been asked to pay extra to use their facilities. (So we used Sofitel taksim's for massage, sauna & swimming pool). The breakfast is good, loads of variety and nice view. The rooms are stuffy, old dirty carpet and smells cigarette. Poor AC. The pillows are old and overused. But housekeeping cleans your room everyday. All the staffs that we met during our stay are friendly and helpful. Special mention to the receptionist Nihat. He tried his very best to accommodate us for an early check in.Thank you Nihat. The location is great and nice restaurant next to the hotel. Overall, I think this is a 3 stars hotel and I wouldn't stay here when I go back to Istanbul.

Excellent location. Staff generally very helpful. Decor is a bit old, and bathrooms somewhat outdated, worn. Cleaning is a bit hit and miss. Restaurant on top floor view is good, and conference facilities all excellent. Food is good. Overall, a 3-4 star hotel in a 5 star location.

Excellent Hotel!!! Great experience. I was there for 4 nights with two teenage kids. Had a super experience. The staff was over friendly and very helping and courteous. Shout out to Yaseen he made our trip so much better by coordinating to-from airport helping find guides to sites and very friendly and respectful...

One of the best hotels in Istanbul, the staff service is outstanding. If anyone does not enjoy their stay here is means they need to look at themselves and maybe change because this hotel is perfect. The services, executive lounge, gym and spa is amazing.

A very nice hotel located in Taksim near the taksim square, everything needed is nearby. Stayed for 5 days and it was a good stay 👍🏻 The only problem I faced is their bathroom, when you shower all water is on floor which makes it slippery and risky too. Hopefully the management fixes this issue, but overall satisfied with my stay.

Prime location with bustling surrounding, various restaurants and provision stores, having easy connectivity to all areas of Istanbul. Rooms were smaller than what we expected but comfortable. Breakfast spread was good.

Excellent location, walkable to the famous istiklal caddesi. Staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you . Even letting me check in early . Breakfast was good selection ( stop forgetting to provide tea spoons please!) Room cleaning was done daily and to a good standard - some areas could be better like removing and changing cutlery in room . towels were daily provided . In terms of value for money great hotel . Some minor improvements are needed : 1. Definitely must address the smoking in rooms as I can smell the smoke at night time so not sure where that is coming from 2. Cleaning must be thorough as in removal of old cutlery and wiping of table etc Other than that a wonderful stay and wonderful staff !

Nice hotel with bery good location. Very sympathic with wide rooms but without good insulation, everything can be heard from neighboring rooms. The staff is kind and polite. Breakfast buffet is good with very nice tercce especially spring and summer. For the transit travellers or short stay travellers maybe best solution because its walking distance to Taxim metro station and Havas shuttle bus just by the hotel. Worth for the money🎊

please for your customer’s opinion to know, ask the in other times when are are resting or eating or … for last tip there is always a way for reception working men to behave little more respectful to passengers especially after a long distance trip and the tiredness in result. thanks for every memory you’ve made us in last years.
