Wish I could give no stars. This place is disgusting. There are people in these rooms that are doing all sorts of drugs and drinking themselves to the point where they can't even stand. Not only that but it's supposed to be a family hotel, yet it's full of people who are screaming and banging all through the night. There are even people who are kicking holes in doors and the staff do nothing about any of these things. Taking about staff, one of the security men almost attacked a child, swearing and grabbing them. This place is NOT safe for children, or even adults. Do not go here, it is not only a waste of your money but risks your safety, too. This is not a hotel, it is a hostel full of drugs and alcoholics, violent staff and overall is an awful place.

It is clean. It is not the best of hotels in Bolton. I wouldn't personally go here because there is always werid drunk people learking about and there is always drunk people here. I wouldn't say this is suitable for families. It is not big and there isn't that many rooms. It's small. Probably only suitable to stay here for one or two days as it is not in a very good location. It is on a main road and that road is quite busy most of the time. There fore you would not get the good night sleep we would want and would have a home. It is suitable to stay here if its a short time. The food here is not very good. There is always alcohol severed here. It always smells of cigarettes and some people do not really like that smell of cigarettes. Looks like you could get attacked here. Random people come up to you and ask you random questions.

Unless your homeless, a meth addict, looking for a drug hook up or a prostitute avoid like the bubonic plague! Our company booked a co worker and myself in here and by the morning we will be either dead or smack heads due to the fumes radiating up through the floors! If you have a dog that is cold in the yard this time of year don't book Fido a room as the central heating will kill him in under 3 hours! If I hadn't previously served in the British infantry I would now be resembling a prawn that has been raped by a shrimp! This is NOT a hotel but a den of inadequacy, only if your life is at an all time low should you even contemplate staying here!

My colleague booked the rooms as we were travelling from Derby to Bolton for a training day and we decided it was easier for us to stay over the night before. The hotel advertised an open bar, lounge area and seminar rooms available. For £30 per night we did expect it to be basic. When we arrived we were unable to access the hotel at the main front door, we had to enter round the back near the dustbins. We asked if we could have a drink before we were shown to our rooms, We were informed there was no bar, The bar had no drinks in it full stop. We were shown to our rooms, then informed that we had to share toilet and shower facilities with the entire floor! During the night there was a lot of shouting, banging and you could hear someone being sick. I actually pushed my bed up against the door as I felt very unsafe. We pretty much got up and left straight away in the morning, the chap that was on the night shift informed us that the council tends to put people in the hotel at the last minute and they are often intoxicated. So it is basicly a hostel. It is not a hotel and it isn't anything like it's advertisement!! I wouldn't recommend it to anybody, especially anybody who was alone! Disgraceful.

I stayed there for two nights in 2009. The greedy woman was asking for the money straight away but the TV didn't work and no tea and coffee in the room like the advert said. I had a good breakfast on the Saturday but that night as I went to bed there was a sign on the dining room door saying. Breakfast at 10am tomorrow so I couldn't wait but still charged. The worst B+B I've stayed in in Britain, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!!

I understand is a place for those awaiting to be allocated council house or on the asylum list. Rooms are habitable but I do not get how a family of three is meant to be in a room. Also cooking is basically done downstair which is more communal. Location is not that encouraging as it is in the heart of a busy road. Couples or single parents with younger children will have to be worried about kids not running loose due to health and safety. I will suggest appropriate location considering health and safety as well as security of these families be adopted in future. Although they considers times lodgers are meant to be in . I will get pictures across soon.
