This is a wonderful B&B. Yes, because of Covid-19, they don't yet have breakfast. But who cares? Breuggers Bagels is around the corner and Trader Joe's practically next door. Great location, quite clean and amazingly quiet. Such a fair price too! Plus they have the best green tea soap. Second time here. Great both times. Highly recommend it!

They were sweet and easy to work with. They accommodate my crazy schedule so I could relax in their comfortable room and even fit a load of laundry in, as this was one of many stops on a 4 week business trip. Breakfast was very fulling and other guests were also very amicable.

Love the character of this place! Very cute! We arrived early 11am and was able to check in. They do hang your key in the front entrance. If you want somewhere fun to stay this is the place! Plus they serve breakfast! Bagels, oatmeal, fruit & more! Only thing for me is I run hot so 74 was a lil too warm at night but there is a fan that helped! We stayed in room number 10 you share a bathroom - didn’t have any issues with having to wait plus there is one upstairs if needed. We didn’t have to park but there is the subway about 7 minutes away. Plus lots of good restaurants close by!

Parking was an absolute nightmare. There's also no one to greet you when you show up. Also they require you to store your car keys downstairs with other people's keys in case they have to move your vehicle in an emergency. I'm really uncomfortable with that but I didn't really have a choice because I didn't know that was the rule until I got there. I feel like that's definitely something that you should state ahead of time LOL... Also the breakfast was pretty lame. I wouldn't stay here again unless I absolutely positively had to. Also just a suggestion you might want to put something down in the tub so it's not so slippery. Even if you just put down some textured adhesives or something. Also it was pretty weird that our personal information was clipped to the outside of the house where anyone could have just walked up and took the key and saw our personal information. It was a sealed envelope but it's not hard to open an envelope. Essentially every single envelope has a key in it and therefore anyone just walking by could let themselves into the house. Quite bizarre.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. The place is very quaint and cozy. The location is just around the corner from Coolidge Corner, which has lots of shops, food, bars, and a movie theater. The location is right next to the Green line for easy public transit. Additionally, we left two items in our room and returned back to California without them. But they helped us get them asap and mail them back to us, so we greatly appreciate the service and care.

I get that it is an old house, with small rooms accessed through flights of stairs. But I didn't expect maintenance and cleaning to be so poor. Very wrinkled bed sheets, with many hair and crumbs! I ended up sleeping on the bed cover...and I was woken up by the dripping sound of a leaking window as it rained. The bathroom is cramped, shower is hard to maneuver, surfaces and baseboards were dirty. The sink and toilet bowl were clean but heavily chipped. How long do you have to use a toilet seat to get so many chips? And how cheap can you be to leave it like that? The check in for all guests is an envelope on the front door with your bill (including all personal info) and key. I've been in many B&Bs and I will never set foot in this one again. Its only saving features are price and location, but you get what you pay for...

This is an excellent place to stay. Location is fantastic, and while some rooms do not have AC, the service was great!

I loved this little inn when I stayed to visit Boston. It's a short walk from the Greenline or a bus stop, so there were good connections into the city. The breakfast options were pretty nice, mostly cold items like cereal. Most of the rooms share a communal bathroom, which always looked clean. My room had a private bathroom with a shower. The rooms aren't super spacious, but I loved the style of the guest house. Beautiful house and I will stay again if there's rooms available during my future trips to Boston and Brookline.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The house was absolutely beautiful and so quaint, I was so in love with all the furniture and wallpaper choices; it felt like I was staying in a dollhouse!! It was super clean and the breakfast was so yummy with lots of choices. The location can’t be beat either, about a 3 minute walk to central Coolidge Corner which is a lovely little town. Will definitely be back!

old Victorian house made into a bed & breakfast. All rooms are upstairs, which was difficult for me. Our room has no AC but the common areas have AC. Parking is tight & a bit complicated, no overnight street parking unless you're a resident with permit. Breakfast was simple, definitely to your advantage if you can walk & know the T. It served its purpose.

Excellent guest house in a prime location in Brookline. Very cute building, yummy breakfast (fresh bagels, coffee, yogurt), and friendly stuff. Definitely coming back here when I pass through town!

Room was nice. Nearby parking on spothero was easier and cheaper than the parking situation here.

My husband and I enjoyed our one-night stay at this β€œbed and bagel” and would recommend it to others. We stayed in Sunshine room #17 (with private bathroom) and slept great, exploring the cool neighborhood the next day while storing our luggage in the common space after checkout time.

Our first B&B experience, and we enjoyed it. We didn't encounter many staff members, but the ones we did were friendly. Room was nice. I was worried about the shared bathroom, but didn't have any issues with it. Very cute house.

4.5 stars. It was absolutely lovely and the staff were terrific. My only complaint is that my room would have benefited from a power bar connected to the power outlets because they were not in convenient locations for charging anything with a standard length phone cable.

I have never stayed at a bnb before. I was a little nervous but it worked out well. We were going to be very busy, needed a place to lay our head and that is about it. The place was clean and easy to find if the construction is done on the road that gets you to Littell Road. It was in an area close to the train. Which can get you anywhere pretty quickly. The area seems nice and people seemed friendly. Unfortunately didn't get to have breakfast the only morning I could there. The only small complaint I had was I was staying with a male friend and I requested 2 twin beds for the room but it was not set up that way. There was a king mattress on two twin beds. I roll when I sleep and he snores majorly! I put pillows down the middle to at least stop me from rolling on him. I would do this place again, nice to see they allow kids.

Very pleasant stay. Kind and helpful staff, calm part of the town, marvellous breakfast. Adequate facilities. Extremely cheap parking! For the price we couldn't wish more. The only cons was a loud private fridge in the room, but hey, we got our own fridge in the room and you can unplug it if you feel like it ;)

Friendly staff, clean property, sheets changed and bed made every day, nice free cookies and bagels every morning. Only thing that brought this place down to a 3, was the fact that the walls are paper thin (felt like having to creep around when returning in the evening, not ideal for young people on st paddy's weekend!), shared bathroom, and the fact that we never met the owners (which makes the experience impersonal). Aside from this everything was ok!

Really enjoy the atmosphere, but had to deduct one star because no breakfast is served during covid.

Cute, nicely gotten-up. In a residential neighborhood but still with decent access to Boston.

Hidden neighborhood gem. Walking distance to Coolidge Corner in one direction and Longwood Medical Area in the other. Less than 15min to Massachusetts General Hospital, university campuses, Beacon Hill. Safety and cleanliness are professional. I know I will sleep comfortably and soundly.

😠 If your booking here at the 1087 Beacon inn please make sure you don’t take room 7 on the 3rd floor. Me and my husband stayed here last night after leaving a great concert at Fenway and when we got to our room it was a hot box. AC not working and we were up all night sweating. Called the office and...
