My husband and I had to spend a few unexpected days in Burnaby and found this hotel on Google. We are travelling from Vancouver island on a very busy weekend for our dog to receive an emergency surgery. The exceptional service we received started immediately upon arrival in the morning. We told the front desk staff what was going on and they allowed us to check in hours before the scheduled check in time. I had to work and had some printing to do, so the manager told me that I could send any documents needed for printing to him and he would print for me. When we expressed concerns of the unknowns around the reason for our stay we were assured that if necessary our room would be able to be converted to a pet friendly room if needed, which was so comforting to hear as our dog was our #1 concern at this point and the 2 men we spoke with made our check in so easy that we could continue to just put all our thoughts into the immediate issue. The one gentleman had just gotten a puppy a few weeks ago and we could see the sincerity in him as he tried to accommodate and make this part of our stay simpler for us. It was so comforting. There are lots of amenities in this hotel and everyone was always smiling and friendly throughout our short stay. Our departure was quick as our stay did not end well. We checked out after the allowed check out time and again expressed our appreciation for the stay but how these were very unfortunate circumstances. I had tears in my eyes the whole time and the woman at the front desk was able to make the departure quick so I didn’t have to stand around and feel embarrassed. A little while later we received a phone call from the Delta reception stating that they saw these were extenuating circumstances and that our night that we were not staying there was going to be refunded back to us. This hotel has good beds, lots of space in the rooms, good wifi for working and the employees all seem to be happy and treat you like another human! Staying at the Delta was the only good part of our trip over to Burnaby and I am so thankful we chose this place.

The hotel conference room was very spacious and clean. It had super stunning views of the mountains and the Brentwood skyline. Parking is plentiful and free, while access is very convenient with the highway and a bus route located adjacent to the hotel. The only downsides was that the conference rooms had poor sound separation, so it was easy to hear what was going on in the adjacent room. The prices for the conference room rental were not very affordable, but that is the case with conference rooms throughout the region. But, the sound quality is good. The aesthetics of the room, with the nice carpet, is really good too.

I was there for 2 nights, the hotel is located in a business area and had a casino and conference center. The front staff was very friendly with a warm welcome. I get a room at the 16th floor with a great view. In the hotel are two restaurants located at the second floor, a Starbucks at the lobby and one restaurant outside. A small complimentary parking lot is also available. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and had a good room size with a good size of TV, the bed was also great and comfortable. All in all was a good choice for my business trip to Vancouver.

I stayed in the suite on the 19th floor. A couple things that stood out from my visit to a hotel previous are: - Excellent view - Comfortable bed - Easy to communicate with front desk - It was easy to park and then get to my hotel room - The casino was an experience to check out - Chow restaurant was affordable and really good - The TV was a smart TV which was great for watching Netflix - Starbuck in the lobby - The gym looked up-to-date - I thought I forgot a few things. The staff was great about dealing with my concern. Things I didn't like: - Shower somehow sprayed water all over the bathroom floor - The sauna and hot tub were out of service and they were in a sketchy location. You have to go to the second floor, find the gym, walk through the gym to another door by the change rooms, then wander around until you find it.

Stayed here for a work event. Very basic amenities in the room. Mini-fridge jammed into the decks was difficult to access. Hot water was limited at 7:30am during morning rush - lukewarm at best. Shower leaked, reducing pressure. Room was clean, but was showing moderate wear on carpets and countertops. Bed was comfortable. All the staff I encountered were exceptional. Price was fair.

I recently stayed in at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The room felt outdated, with noticeable signs of wear and tear. The washroom door had rust, poorly concealed by paint. The standing shower and closet were both in an old style, and there was no convenient place to charge my cellphone on the side table. Overall, the outdated decor and lack of modern amenities left me unsatisfied, and I won't be returning.

Loved it. We had a Christmas party there and the event room was perfect. We even had our own private patio for those that wanted to go outside and smoke. The food was awesome and the service was great. I would highly recommend this place for your next party

Well it was good, and nice. But I'm still waiting for the room deposit I had to put down due to using a travel app. I was there fri/sat still nothing. Called and the gentleman on the other end simply, and pretty rudely said it take 3 to 5 business days and hung up.

Hotel is nice but a bit old. There were stains on the walls, ceiling, and curtains. Not sure what caused the stains but seemed a little gross. Bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a bit small and the lighting in the bathroom wasn't the best but good enough. Parking is free (they have a South lot and North lot). The South lot has an EV charging station (2 ChargePoint stations) on P4. Unfortunately, both were in use when we checked so we didn't get to use it. They are pet friendly and charge $50.

The hotel is okay. The staff was amazing but there is a problem with the parking because of the casino. With such a big hotel at least there should be better parking. There were people smoking right at the front door too. The room was okay. There is no microwave in the room. There was no handicap parking either.

I was upset to learn that not only was the sauna closed when I arrived but there was terrible construction that interfered with work calls I was on while stating in my room. I am planning on staying here again because of work in a couple of weeks and I'm really hoping they have fixed all the issues. I will say that when my AC stopped working they resolved the issue quickly.

So enjoyed our overnight stay, well run hotel with great staff and amenities. The Atlas restaurant is highly recommended, they serve the best rack of lamb.. such a well balanced dish with all the right textures and flavours!

Good value when redeemed with Marriott points! There is casino at ground levels and checkin is super fast and welcoming. The softness of the bed is perfect to us. Free parking too. There is also 24h gym. We arrived early and want to drop off the luggage. They gave us an early checkin at noon, and asked if we also need late checkout. Very considerate of them!

The room is clean. The location is off the freeway so it's convenient. The restaurant inside the hotel, Atlas is very good. If you want to try your luck, there is a casino in the hotel

I informed the manager about the numerous visible scratches on the desk in my room, giving the impression that the rooms lack proper care and appear old. He was eager to address the issue promptly, providing excellent service. The breakfast at the villa bistro restaurant was fresh, and both the waitress and manager were exceptionally friendly to customers. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

You shouldn't be disappointed. I have astayed here a couple times in the penthouse and regular room Unit and it was always a great experience. Specially for a stop over if your traveling. Everytime I stay here, an Elvis is walking around😶

The rooms were way over priced very out dated for the cost we were put in a room with burn marks all over the carpet and a mini fridge had someones ild food in it the room had a terrible smell probably due to the fridge not working and rotting old food. I DONT recommend staying there if you wanna enjoy a nice romantic night . We definitely wont be back Ive stayed at some very old hotels and hands down these rooms are the worst. Its too bad to cause my husband and i go on date weekends once every month. Great casino though

Cherish at check in is fantastic. Mitch needs to learn how to give directions. The rooms are adequate. Nothing special. Fail to see what is so grand about this place. By far the worst Marriott I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. Absolutely 0 convenience, absolutely 0 room services. Couldn’t even make a call from my room. Had to go down 17 floors and stand outside to get service on my cell phone. Never staying here again.

It's been a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious and quiet. The service was perfect. We requested kettle and microwave oven and got them in minutes. Also we enjoyed free parking and gym. Absolutely will revisit if we come back to Vancouver.

It all starts when you walk in with the amazing mega story cieling in the lobby. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Room was a nice color scheme and very comfortable. Housekeeping kept room in great shape. Pet friendly was a big plus. Casino provided some very fun entertainment!

The room is fine, a bit dated. The shower and tiles Definitely need some scrubbing. There's mold growing in the grout. The TV remote didn't work our 1st day, they came and replaced the batteries quickly...great. It is now 2 days later and the remote is working again and we can't manually turn the TV on either. No microwave in the room either.

Overall a decent hotel with large, clean comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was good, with generous portions. Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience as the room wasn't ready until 5:15pm despite the 3pm check in time, so we had to wait in the lobby for a while. Also it is close to a major highway, so there is some noise.

Drove down from Kelowna to enjoy the boxing November 12/2022 and decided to stay where the boxing match was being held. Pretty much every category exceeded expectations in one way, or another. From check in, with very courteous and professional staff, to the accommodation itself, this place was top notch. They have two areas to park your vehicle, including underground parking. They have two floors of casino with tons of slot machines and various table games and other gambling you would expect at any standard casino. One thing that stood out was the level of cleanliness, and attention to detail to maintenance. Not a scratch or gouge on the walls, zero dust, I suspect you could white glove the picture frames and not find any dust. The bed and bedding was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced at a paid accommodation. I would not hesitate to stay at this place again.

The level of service and professionalism is great. All the hotel staff from the front desk, servers, cleaners and managers are very nice and helpful. I tried 4 of their restaurants so far and the food has been good. Rooms are clean.

Loved this place all around! Beautiful restaurant that I will be returning to. Nice casino and amazing rooms. The only thing is they need vending machines in the lobbies for people to grab snacks or a small store by the front desk.

Honestly from the time i walked in to the time i checked out i got nothing but smiling faces and respectful gestures from staff. The room was so clean and everything was precise. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and delivered to my room. I got my money worth in this place and i plan to return anytime i have the opportunity to do so. Good Job Staff and Management.

Decent hotel if you're looking for something outside the city. Great for meetings and events as there's a few restaurant options and plenty of space to book with hotel. Rooms and nice and clean. Event spaces need an update though! Walls are dirty and not well maintained.

Been to queue a few very different events here over the years and this place always does well, food is good, service is always courteous, and it is a very nice space, in any of the rooms. The hotel rooms are equally well done, comfortable and clean, staff is all very professional as well.

This now will be the only hotel I stay at when I travel to the Vancouver area. Service was lovely from the experience staff to even the staff still in training. Check in and room service was amazing. Despite there being a small casino on the second floor, the hotel was very quiet at all hours and the patrons were an older crowd. The restaurant food as well as service was great and had surprisingly large portions. The hotel is very close to Metropolis at Metrotown Shopping Mall. Just a short bus ride away or a $12 CAD Uber ride. Getting from downtown Vancouver to the hotel also was very easy. Other hotels in the Greater Vancouver area I have stayed at were at best tired looking, had less friendly and helpful staff, worse rooms overall and were similarly priced. This is the perfect hotel for people traveling for business or older people travelling for leisure. Looking forward to my next stay.

The hotel is ontop of a casino, so there is a lot of people traffic. Laundry service is very expensive. Gym is pretty good and the rooms are clean, the location is not ideal if you don't have a car. If you don't enjoy Casinos you might want to try a different hotel.

This place has been updated and the rooms are fantastic and comfortable. Its not a huge hotel, and that's what I like about it. My criticism is that some of the staff are so use to Asian clientele that they aren't very friendly or helpful If you're not Asian as they. I suggest sensitivity training might help. Other staff were incredibly friendly, professional and their training was evident. I would stay here again, however if I was to face the same differentiated treatment from the Asian staff, I would call it out to their faces right there and then. Forewarned is forearmed. Pay attention management to make sure this is not a wide problem.

My room was nice and very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There are nice restaurants in the hotel and within a 5 minute taxi ride.

Hi, I loveeedddd the customer service. I had to order a cake for my friend who was in this hotel for her business trip and the front desk was so supportive and nice. I would definitely mention Erika, since she was the one to accept my call and deal with the surprise. She even followed up on me and made sure everything was fine. Really appreciate her efforts. I didn’t stay in the hotel myself but felt like an important customer. Thanks for your service Erika. 😇
