Excellent value for money for the BIB menu + professional and casual service.

Generally speaking, it was ok. Staff were very quick to get us settled at our table and to take our menu orders. Some might like this. Personally, I like to take a little time and order a drink first and peruse the menu without any pressure. It really depends on how you like your restaurant experience. The surroundings and general ambiance were very pleasant. I was pleased to see a three course set menu at around 28 Euros each which I thought was good value. I opted for the more expensive set menu (I recall about 35 Euros) however, when the food arrived the 28 Euro set menu looked much better. Overall, the experience was pleasant and our party of six had a nice evening although my meal was a little bland.

I never write reviews, but the service and food was an 11/10 at this place. I have lived in Paris for seven years, but this may be one of the best meals I've had in France and all at a price point I couldn't believe. 25 euros for a starter, main and dessert. The staff was super attentive and kind. Beautiful decor, like walking into a 1940s brasserie. And the playlist was wonderful. Go here. You won't regret it.

Our order was incorrect, it took 20 minutes to alert a member of staff by which time it was too late, sat with no drink for ages, with empty glasses on the table and not taken away, chewy and fatty meat, hugely overpriced for what it is. I have no idea how they have such a high rating. There are so many, much nicer places to eat in Calais.

What an amazing restaurant! We stopped in Calais for just one night and found this gem. Pros: The food was amazing! The salmon was so good! Very reasonably priced! Good wine selection The staff were were very friendly and very attentive. Very very very clean. I watched them sanitize each menu, seats, tables, and even the pen people used to sign their receipt. Cons: Absolutely nothing. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Very nice and tasty meal. The starter was certainly a star! There was a slight problem with the order which the team resolved promptly. Highly recommend if you are in Calais.

Come to try their new summer menu. Excellently presented and top quality food, well portioned and superb value for a three course lunch. Service from staff was hit and miss but adequate. Definitely recommended if you're in Calais wanting to try decent French cuisine

Had the pork and bass set menu. An interesting mix of dish and a generous portion. No wonder the placed got filled up quickly as soon as it opens

Was so lucky to manage to get a reservation at this fantastic restaurant. On the night all the tables were reserved and they were turning people away. Service was really attentive and helpful. Interesting food options with a good value 'menu'. High quality food and wine. There was a really good choice of wines by the glass which I was thrilled with after 3 weeks in France with only 1-2 choice of white or red. Servings were really ample by the glass, so good value for the quality. I had the burrata to start followed by the coquilles st jacques and then then pear dessert. All were exquisite including the accompanying fresh bread. The staff were patient when we asked for time to decide but always present when selecting our choice or asking for more drinks. A really lovely dining area which felt really comfortable and cosy. Definitely the best restaurant experience in my 3 weeks in France and one of the best in a very long time aside from that. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We were lucky to get a table for 2 on a Saturday evening without a reservation, and what luck it was! A buzzy bistro atmosphere, delicious food and great value. Friendly and professional staff. We will definitely book for our next visit.

We took the Bib Gourmand menu, and that was really good. I took the salmon tartar as a starter, then the steak and as a desert the mi-cuits. All dishes were perfect 👍.

Amazing! Absolutely fabulous from walking through the door to paying. The food was incredible, service impeccable, and prices were soo cheap for the quality. I will definitely be back. Pity I can only give 5* it deserves more.
