Ordered the lamb and potato wrap off Uber eats and it was so frikken delicious! All the right flavors, the lamb soft and the wrap was a paratha so nice and buttery. Overall I'm impressed and I would 100 % order again. Worth the price. Also they have a really tasty mango pickle.

So we were looking for a new curry spot... thanks, Google. After asking plenty of questions, we settled on the lamb and chicken curries, both on the bone. The curry is flavourful with just the right amount of burn, straight off the bat. Let's just say, for two big appetites, there was enough for the main dinner and plenty of leftovers for the next night( it also gets better the longer it stands)

It was my first time at Sundoo I used wiki deals... The waiter was super nice he took his time to explain the menu (I just forgot his name) and the food was so rich and flavourful. It was a great experience for me I'll be telling my friends.

Our time at Sundoo was amazing. This place is very nondescript and can almost be easily missed as its rather small. But don’t let this fool you. Upon arrival we were soon to our table and the cozy atmosphere was further enhanced by load shedding which meant candlelit table adorned the restaurant. Our server was polite and very helpful and offered suggestions as well. For starters we had chicken and lam samosas to share for the table. This was an amazing treat and was sign of things to come. Served with a coriander chutney which was amazing. For mains I opted for the Hummas Lamb. Your choice of boneless or bone in should be an easy as bone in is the clear winner in my opinion with that added flavor vorm through. If you’re worried about spiciness then I would recommend going medium as this brilliant. I ordered the hot version (the middle of the pack choice) and it can easily overpower a novice. The curry they make has a depth of flavor that supports the spice and doesn’t fall away. Our mains were served with rice which I missed on the menu but also I didn’t ask. We ordered rotis for the table and a serving of jeera rice. In hindsight not needed but was amazing as well. In summary I would recommend this place and I will gladly be back as I believe a have now found my curry place in Cape Town. Give it a try and enjoy this experience

I’ve had the pleasure of dining both in & out at Sundoo a few times, in every instance they have delivered with such intense flavor, I would find it difficult to articulate a suitable sentence of tasty goodness. Be sure to try the samosas, rotis and clay oven curries. There is not much I can fault, even their IPA was exceptional 🍺 Ciao ~ SB 🍛

I was really excited to try this restaurant. The service was… weird, the manager wouldn’t make eye contact, and wasn’t composed at all. They then forgot about our drinks, the food was below average. I had the butter chicken curry which tasted like a pasta packet sauce mixed with chicken, my fiancé had the lamb curry; the meat was good, but all you could taste was a strong stock flavour. There was a table that had left as we sat down and didn’t get cleared for the duration of our stay. When we told the waiter our thoughts on the food, we pointed out the dirty table of which he replied it wasn’t his table. Note the restaurant only has 6 tables and there were 3 front of house staff including the manager. A lot of them were on their phones, including the kitchen staff. Not paying attention to the customers at all while the restaurant was almost full. This restaurant is very poorly run and I’m surprised it has a 4,5 star rating.

Ordered Lamb curry and butter chicken, both hot. The best curry in Cape Town! It was delicious, tasted as if it was made with love! Well done Sundoo!
