Incredibly tasty and well-presented sushi dishes. They offer a vast amount of variety of sushi dishes as well as various portion or platter sizes to suit your liking. What is also great is the great combo deals, which includes a mix of various sushi dishes at a decent price. I have always appreciated the efficient service while visiting the CBD branch. The Claremont branch is very disappointing, so I would not recommend going there. Overall, great sushi!

Nice place. Has a burger and waffle restaurant in the same shop which could be very convenient. Sushi is good and decently priced. I had the expectation it would be a lot more expensive because its "gourmet" but not too bad for a platter - R200 for 24 pieces (6 sashimi) - there are cheaper options that don't include gourmet items.

The sushi is great and the prices affordable. I always prefer a take-away though as the resturant has quite an informal feel. Plainly, not fancy.

Went on a Sunday, it was nice and quiet. Sushi was good, beautifully presented, and came to the table quickly. Only thing is that I wish I had been greeted at the door and offered a seat instead of left to sort myself out, felt a bit like a fast food joint with a seating area in that regard.

Absolutely the most pathetic service from Nuri CBD! Placed my order at 20h17 and was given an expected time of arrival of 20h37. Waited almost 30min post this and eventually cancelled my order and asked for a refund. The person working with orders also kept on touching his mask on the mouth area and packing orders. Extremely disappointing service!!

Nuri is my Thursday night dinner plan, every week. The G&M with bamboo rolls is my usual order, and hits every time! 😍🤤

Not bad Quick service. My initial response was "wow" at the portion sizes. After eating I felt that there was too much rice per piece, which kind of devalued the fish. As a lunch time meal I think this is good sushi and excellent value for money. For a connoisseur wanting the fish to be the hero of the meal, order carefully and discuss with the crew (who are extremely pleasant and engaging.)

By far the worst service, serving everyone else and live customers last. My entire team used to love coming there daily but won't set foot in that place again. Just terrible. Ordered for 2,get home and find 1 set of chop sticks. What's becoming of this place. Prices increased by R20, but the quality of the service decrease??? Haven’t had Nuri Sushi in a while. It used to be my favourite. After trying their crunch mix again, I will surely not buy it again. It tasted like the sushi was fried in old fish oil. Very disappointed.

Jokes on me for playing it safe and ordering good ol' California rolls instead of trying out at least 5 of their menu items 🙃 Great service, warm atmosphere. This is definitely one of the best sushi bars in town. Various options for almost half the price. The reviews and pictures are a true reflection of the establishment and what they have to offer!

The restaurant was lively and busy, I was able to pre-order the day before so I could just pick up and pay didn't need to stand on a queue. The food is absolutely amazing will definitely order from here again!

Sushi is consistently good, real value for money & I've been accommodated on numerous occasions with regards to my dietary needs/concerns. Atmosphere is a chilled cafeteria vibe,doesn't need any more or any less. Not meant to be a fine dining experience hence the rating for type of establishment.

Everything is above standard. Nowhere else do you get cones for R10! Real value for money. Friendly young man served us, all other staff also efficient and helpful. Very friendly. Food was super nice. Definitely an experience that will be repeated.

What a terrible experience I had today at the CPT branch! I usually love coming here, but the service has really gone to cr@p! I made a WhatsApp order at 12:15 and was told that my estimated waiting time would be 60 minutes. I got there at 13:18 and my food was still not ready. I waited until 13:33 as I could see they were full, then followed up with my order. Only once I asked about my order, was it finally made! Received my order at 13:47 and had to rush to the office, only to find that my tempura prawns were not in my bag once I got to work! Very disappointed and will not be returning.

We came to nuri after craving sushi for so long, we're so used to their efficient service and delicious food. Today was the opposite. We came to sit and enjoy a meal, after waiting for our food for 30 minutes, we went to enquire, they apparently made our order for takeaway and when I showed them the slip which said "sit down" they discovered that they made a completely wrong order all together. Disgusting service as well, no apology was given and the fish tasted old.

Nuri's is South Africa most diverse Sushi Restaurant. They offer a huge selection of sushi and its absolutely perfect. Though the service varies from good to horrible at different branches, the food is worth the affordable price. Their selection is for the novice and enthusiast.

Sushi is really good over here. There is quite an extensive menu to choose from. Ordered the Volcano and the Spicy Prawn Tempura. There are so many variations to choose from, whether you like just prawn or a mix of different ones, this is the place! Also try the Asian fries, almost like kettle crisps, also really good with their dipping sauce that accompanies it.

The sushi was good but I really dont like that u have to get up and go ask the menu yourself from them. We sat down waiting for service but my wife ended up having to ask the menu herself. The same thing happened in the Claremont restaurant sometime ago... I just dislike having to get up and ask a menu myself...

Average sushi experience. Sashimi says 4 pieces but actually just two pieces halved to create 4. Dirty bathrooms so rather use the toilet before you go. Great for a last resort but would not recommend as your first sushi choice.

Other than being slightly hidden, Nuri Sushi Factory is really great. Upon walking in we were greeted with great service and the place had lively music playing which really set for a good mood. They have a wide variety of sushi and other foods available. And specially a great selection for vegetarians. Although the place was not extremely busy the food arrived fairly quick and had great flavor and a was set out very well. I found the sushi to be very fresh and for the crunch version it was still nice and warm bursting with flavor. The pricing is is fair for the quality of food you get and platters are available for functions or for people who would like to share. Over all I found the service and food quality very good and would easily go back.

This Nuri Sushi is situated in the heart of the cbd. The pic below contains a platter for one (yes their portion are huge) and the crab crunch. My friends and I celebrated a friend's birthday this week. They have both sit in and take away. Ample seating. You are able to view the chefs preparing the food and the play list is awesome. A real win if you looking for all things fish. They also offer delivery, have lots of specials and can be found in Uber eats.

The service and sushi was dissapointing. My 1st visit was September 2020 and I loved it but today was the opposite, lack of service & the sushi was tasteless, fortunately wasabi and the soya sauce helped. I told the waitress re her 'service' and didn't feel like complaining re the food.

I am so so disapointed with the Nuri Maitland branch. After 3 good months of not having sushi, i decided to order some platters and make it as a suprise for my mother's birthday. I ordered using Nuri Maitland app, on my side it reflected my order was accepted with the bussiness, but i nvr received my order, the only thing that i saw was missed calls but i could'nt pick up the calls because i was driving.. I tried to phone back but the phone was'nt going through... i am deeply disapointed with this bad service from this branch..... Now we are busy preparing dinner because we had planned to order Sushi for dinner.... This is bad service

I ordered a platter over the phone from Nuri's in Cape Town, while on the phone the consultant wasn't very helpful. I then placed an order with the consultant and she advised it will take 15 to 20 minutes I arrived within 20 minutes, made payment and then waited for almost 20 minutes right in front where I made payment. I then asked the lady that assisted me how much longer it will be. To my suprise my order was ready before I arrived but it was not given to me. Instead, I unnessacarily waited for about 20 minutes. This is really pathetic customer service. I will fire that cashier if I was the owner of that Nuri branch. Don't get me wrong, I love the sushi however if I get customer service like this I might just look elsewhere. Hope management takes this review seriously.
