I’ve been driving past this place for the entire year and decided to pop in and boy am I glad I did, I was instantly greeted by a couch I sat on and proceeded to browse through the menu (with pretty affordable stuff) and decided on a double chicken burger. Definitely making this my usual spot.

Been going to badgers for years now and yesterday a racist manager asked us we not buying anything and just shooting pool. Be in mind we having there so we decided to pay for the pool. So we the manager if it was a problem us just playing until we made up our minds on what we eating. This guy was very rude and I'm certain he would not have approached if I was a white guy! Bad staff, slow service the list is endless...........

We were on of the first people to dine it’s new location. Our party enjoyed a sample of the local food and wine. The owner came by a chatted us up for a bit. This added to the cozy welcome to stay feeling we got from the restaurant. Wish we could have tried more item on the menu.

Sometimes as a solo traveler of the older female type, you get looked past. Not here. Even with two larger parties ordering copious amounts of food and wine, I was well cared for. Try the Lamb Potjie, a delightful stew with savory sweet a accouterments, and distinctly South African spices and prep. Served with brown rice. I'm coming back for the Oxtail Potjie.

This place took over 30 mins to prepare two eggs and two pieces of bacon. Oh and charged 100 rand for the pleasure. I will never return to this place.

OK burger in the center. The place is the restaurant cafe of a bed a breakfast hostel. They don’t have many options in the menu. And the burger was good but not great (the bun was the best). The fries were very good. The price was 105 rand plus the drink. Nothing special but ok for a quick lunch in the center. It’s a nice and illuminated place with big wood windows and plenty of place to sit. The stuff was very kind and smiley :)

Good vibe and music, but the WiFi wasn’t great. It would cut out randomly and make working here hard. If you have important things to work on I’d find somewhere with more reliable internet. The service was good and my soy flat white was delicious. Maybe use this spot as a hangout with friends. Just annoying to have Work lost when the WiFi disappeared or was really really slow.
