No TV, awful shower, best you understand French or best be Congolese or you will be squeezed out. Rude people and kitchen not possible to use nicely. TERRIBLE place. To add..The owner approached me in the street questioning my review. These people are beyond repair. Never stay here. Forgot to say how rude the reception woman is...they also barge into rooms whether you are getting changed or not. Even Yoghurt has more culture. You also cannot use the filthy kitchen (be grateful) as this is rented out to another rude Congalese who uses a braai outside for some other lunch crowd and I never saw it get cleaned. SIS. I feel itchy when I think of this dump.

Cool cheap central place in the heart of CBd cape town but the reception Rastafarian guy changes prices depending on how desperate u need the room. He increase the price just like that wish the owner knew this

Safe, clean and affordable accommodation in the heart of Long St. Cape Town. With so many affordable backpackers in CT going rogue with drugs, theft of your belongings, unscrupulous people of all sorts, and a unhealthy and definitely unsafe environment, one finds solace and comfort in normality, which this place offers in abundance, despite its competitors in the same league and price bracket. Highly recommended for those wanting low cost affordable accommodation in Cape Town without the hassle and trouble that others with a similar offering and rate are providing.

There has been good improvements with this facility. The kitchen is not anything to talk about, but the worst part is that the wifi don't work properly. After numerous complaints it is clear that management do care about this. It is highly frustrated as we live in era where wifi is part of our every day lives. I will gladly change the report when this matter has been resolved.

Great place as long as one is responsible with their possessions. Carelessness is punishable by loss!

This place is a joke it should be shut down or a new owner at least. Some of the guests have stayed there for awhile but they get treated like pigs by the owner/staff. They are rude and the place is dirty as hell, I feel sorry for the cleaning lady as it's almost an Impossible task to keep clean because the building has gone to ruin the owner and his lake of knowledge on how to treat his guests that do pay to stay.
