Decided to try this restaurant as we’ve just moved to the area. Had a look on Google and found some lovely pictures and some good reviews. The staff are lovely, friendly and fun. The decor in the restaurant looks nothing like any of the pics I saw. Basic plastic chairs to sit on and not much ambience at all. Friends ordered hake and chips with half chips and half salad. The salad was two pieces of lettuce and a tomato? We’d asked if there were any vegan options before hand and was told there was. On ordering, was told the “beyond meat” option was no longer available. Order the other veggie burger and chips (the only other vegan option) which was meh! Very average experience with the food. So many other options close by which are far better. Restaurants like this really need to do better. I didn’t experience any of the farm area or animals which, by the sounds of the other reviews, seem great!

My friend and I absolutely adore this place. From the great food on offer to the garden and farm shop, this place pretty much has it all. It's kid friendly and there are plenty of animals for the kids to go and view....even a baby alpaca called Grace. I woul just say that the entrance road need to be worked on, but overall we love this place. In the farm shop they sell homemade ciabatta that is to die for and not expensive at all. They also offer organic produce, accommodation, kids parties and functions. If you have never been, do yourself a favour and go. I have included photos of my previous 2 trips in this review.

Wonderful Deli with fresh produce and café. Had takeaway coffee and carrot cake at the café. Had a little walk around their stunning veggie garden and saw some of their fame animals. They have painting and pottery decorating too. Restaurant looks lovely. Will definitely come again!

We had a team building event there and place was adequate, though there's was way too many flies. No many animals, which I don't have a problem with. Less animals in cages is best. The painting of baked crockery was a welcome entertainment and therapeutic. Location is okay is just I dislike the non tarred road towards the farm. Perhaps more smoother sand will help. Also better visibility of where is what, would be great. All in all nice place to visit for families with kids.

What a delight! If you need to stock up on your organic vegies, farm fresh produce or want to support your local farmers, this is a must stop. The dew fresh vegies are picked right in front of you, and the lovely Rita and Fabian are so helpful, friendly and so proud of the produce. And there are ducks, and a lama, and lots of butterflies 😍 I visited during lock down to avoid the crowds in the shops and get the freshest vegies.

Hi, I just moved to Cape Town a month ago. Today I stopped off to visit Anna Beuhla farms. What a wonderful experience. I so enjoyed my painting a shell pottery piece with Martie. I had a delicious lunch. I had a magical day. Wonderful staff. Thank you all for making my day so wonderful. Hi again, I just stayed overnight at Anna beuhla and the accommodation was great. Had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Shower was lovely and hot. Enjoyed DSTV at night. Had everything in my room to make it an enjoyable stay. Enjoyed everything on the farm. Even taking home some organic beetroot from the farm. Yummy. Just had an amazing breakfast by the chef Israel and Tandie. Wow they really know how to make scrambled eggs. The best ever and made from the chicken eggs from the farm. So fresh. The farm produce is fresh and beautiful. Taking lots home. Mavis who works in the farm shop is a gem, so friendly and helpful. Always has a smile on her face. Her husband clever works in the vegetable garden on the farm and picked me a beautiful cabbage this morning. So fresh. Kind regards Dianne Le Grange

What an amazing place for young and old. From feeding the animals to the best chicken pie I have had in a very long time. Sit back and relax while the kids play. Would definitely recommend for a lazy Sunday outing 👌 And so affordable as well. Get your slice of Carrot Cake on the way out

Beautiful setting to stop and have a meal amongst the rolling farm lands. Great service from Hendrik. I had a toasted pastrami and cheese with basil pesto and my wife had a very tasty chicken mayo toasty. Both meals were well presented and delicious with lots of filling. Also very reasonable prices. There's also lots of fresh locally grown organic produce to buy.

The overall stay was pleasant. Well located and the facilities are sufficient. The Misty Cottage is beautifully furnished but lacks the finesse touches. Bathroom is impractical and not well maintained. The rest of the premises lacks care and maintenance. The staff are great and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Wow, where to start.... We went to the farm in the middle of a storm, literally, 24 September 2023. From the onset we were accommodated with late check-in (after 4pm) and arrangements made in respect of it was just fabulous, thank you Lee-Ann. The Misty Views was a hit, an old yet modern two bedroom farm cottage with open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Until the heavy rains came and we were literally flooded. Thanks to Stephan, the most cool, calm and collected farm manager ever, who moved us to the Ark Apartments without hesitation and without struggle. Because going home was not an option for us :-) lol. The Ark Apartments, wow, modern and sophisticated with the most beautiful kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Loved it! The restaurant and food was so so scrumptious, with Hendrik entertaining the little ones and hosting superbly so, whilst busy with ceramic painting.... Marti and Cassiem thank you for a job well-done and for your friendly welcome to what was a gloomy wet day :-). I cannot wait to return in the summer to experience the animals and playpark and the farm vibe and calmness. Thank you for an awesome and peaceful stay. May the farm remain blessed and His hand forever be over it for its intention and purpose was noted and appreciated. That to me brought relief and that His purpose prevailed during what was or could have been a chaotic time. Keep it up!!!

I have just returned home from having Christmas Lunch at Anna Beulah restaurant. Compliments to the chef for the four course meal that was served. It was wonderful to see how the smaller children around us were catered for too. It was great to see Jonah (dog) and Anna (cat) put in an appearance. Definitely value for money and tasty too.

What a fun experience! There is so much to do for the kids - feeding of animals, ceramic painting, play area and different arts and craft projects. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is good and reasonably priced. Arts and craft activities are a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it.

What a real gem. Welcome by the best representative and promoter which was the chef. After much debate it was decided to have a platter for four special request. The photos give an idea but this venue just had to be visited to be appreciated.

Just came across this farm somewhat randomly. While waiting for someone, parked and strolled over to the farm area, fed some chickens, and observed beautiful gardens, horses, and sheep. Looks like there was a cafe, and we walked around a small, rustic, intimate farm store. A great way to spend a couple hours on a sunny, breezy afternoon. We need to return and explore more of the grounds.

Went to the restaurant today for breakfast. Can only describe it as a humiliating experience. Placed our order soon after arriving. Think there was only one other table with people when we arrived. More customers started to arrive. When we asked, we were told (a few times) our order is on its way. Every table received their food. Many people already paid and left while we were sitting there like fools. We decided to leave after more than an HOUR. Only reason we stayed that long was because my pregnant wife was really looking forward to her French toast. And our food was 'on its way'. The guy at the counter did apologise when we left, and gladly excepted our payment for the coffee and hot chocolate we had an hour before already. Hope nobody else has to experience this humiliation. We're definitely not going back there. Heard good things about their fresh produce market but we'll never know now.

Such a lovely venue. Great staff, huge menu and great ambience with lots of mismatched old furniture which works well. Super deli, and nice art venue staffed by Marti who is so lovely and helpful. Food came out all together for 12 of us. We are going back soon!

We booked "Our House", which was a converted barn, for a friend's 10yr anniversary. Beautiful views and fantastic facilities. Made a special day even more special.

Stunning part of the world behind the Durban ville hills with views of farmland and rolling hills. We went there for pre-booked father's Day breakfast. It was ok at best. Somewhat unconventional, the people are friendly but unfortunately the restaurant and breakfast just didn't quite live up to expectations for me, the food was alright but the atmosphere in the restaurant itself, despite the friendly deamenour of the chef and waiters, it felt a bit dark, claustaphobic and stiff - I can't quite put my finger on it but I'd suggest cleaning out much of the clutter and brightening up the restuarant more. The farm area was nice though for the kids and we did a tour of the farm after for R50 per child. Our 1 and 9 year old enjoyed interacting with the Alpacos, horses chickens and bunnies. They also had a very tiny "market" but unfortunately it was pretty empty at around 12 when we left - only time will tell if they manage to grow it. The woman on the phone when my wife called to book the R140 per head breakfast was rather offish and almost on the rude side, almost demanding to know where my wife got her number from, as if she is below taking petty restuarant booking calls - hello, that number is on your Facebook page. With some tweaks they can really make this an amazing place and I hope they do and wish them well.

Best farm experience for kids that I have come across. The children were taken on a tour of the animals by very nice guide by the name of Mike. They were able to not only feed the chickens, horses, alpacas and sheep, but also to actually interact with the animals, collect the chicken eggs and hold the bunnies. We did not see the donkeys as they were too far out in the fields. The service is excellent and the managers are very friendly and create a relaxed atmosphere. The Anatolian shepherd dog is the most passive, friendly dog you could possibly meet, despite his huge size. They do not have card facilities, so payment is by cash, EFT or Snapscan

What an amazing place with even more amazing people. We visited Anna Beulah Farm this past weekend and the accommodation (Log Cabin and Misty Views) was great, the service was fantastic. Lovely deli with very, friendly helpful staff. A huge thank you to Stefan who came to our rescue on Saturday evening when we could not get transport back from the K-Day festival. We will definitely be back!

The Anna Beulah Farm hosted our ladies retreat for the weekend and If I was able to give more stars I would. From the booking process to the checkout they were so helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Manor House and it was absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. They went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect. The meals were very delicious and prepared with so much love. Every single person living and working there treated us as if we were family. I would definitely recommend this amazing place for the whole family or for a romantic couples getaway and of course for a ladies retreat. I will be back for sure 😊
