Was amazed by the specials this place have. Visited CT with colleagues and found some daily specials on FOMO. Nicely tucked away in a small shopping centre with a beautiful set up once you get in. May have to book in advance to avoid dissapointment.

We had breakfast. The croissant with scrambled egg was really good. The eggs were light and fluffy. Hubby had poached egg and wors with sourdough. We shared the flapjacks with fruit - we could do with a bit more than 3 thin slices of strawberry. Order your second cup of coffee for R15 is a great special. There is inside seating on an enclosed area with good air flow. There is a little play area for young children. Overall a good experience and friendly service.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant. Food was great and filling, but sides (chips etc) have to be ordered seperately which adds to the bill. Service was friendly and efficient. Good place for kids, small play area and colouring pages are on offer. There was a small dog allowed inside which might cause hygiene concerns for some patrons. Overall it was a good lunch and kids had fun.

I went in to enquire about a breakfast as was looking for venue fir about 15 people for breakfast ..and on the spur of the moment decided to stay for burger ..very tasty nice patty for me it was bit pricy as the burgers do not come with chips or salad/side everything is on its own ..i went during the month of February they had a dessert running that was absolutely awesome ..workers were very jolly ...time we waited long for our food other than that quite a nice cozy place wonderfull for kids ..

This was a lovely restaurant experience. We half didn’t expect the play area to be there because it looks like a very “grown up” restaurant from the front. The play area itself is a bit small but it’s enough to keep little kids entertained. They also provided our kids with some colouring pages which was great. The only down side would be that the kids can get quite rowdy and the big kids tend to be quite mean towards the younger ones. There is a board stating children need to be supervised at all times however, so that might be a failing on our part as parents. The tables are however close enough to see the play area. The food was delightful. We had small meals which were quite satisfying. Our drinks were good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall a lovely dining experience.

The Eatery Wood Fried Grill has earned a spot on my list of Southern Suburbs favourites. We've been here for lunch and dinner, both during the week and on weekends and they have always been consistent. Service, food, drinks and atmosphere, an all round pleasant experience. Good restaurant for families or catching up with friends.

Loved the food. They honestly make amazing burgers here. I had a drink called sex on the deck and it was so delicious.

Tried their burgers and milkshakes. Was disappointed in their milkshakes, as we went especially for that after seeing a good review about them. Tasted like nesquick. The burgers and overall ambience was okay. Situated next to a busy road, so you can hear all the traffic. Service was good and fast - really friendly and lovely waiters!

As I arrived, the owner welcomed me and walked me to my table. He was very friendly and gave me a short story about the place. Beautiful setup, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. My breakfast treat and beverages were delicious. The staff on that shift was very helpful and friendly. It's a nice place to be enjoyed by the whole family.

Quaint restaurant with great food and drinks. The service is friendly and prompt creating an wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. Seating available inside with a larger covered outdoor area. There is a children's play area and colouring crayons and paper the keep the little ones busy. Definitely recommended if looking friendly spot for food in the southern suburbs of Cape Town!

The Eatery in Rondebosch is great place for families, kids and business lunch. Staff is very friendly and I have to say that they have great choice of food and good draft beer. I had Loaded steak bowl and I definitely recommend. Also, we ordered poppers, wings and tacos...just perfect size for appetizers. Enjoy.

What a lovely relaxing restaurant, beautiful setting outside on the deck, kids had so much fun playing in the play area. We hosted our baby's baptism dinner lastnight and it was a great success. Beautiful, peaceful, friendly staff with excellent service, great food and wine! Definitely recommend as a great celebration spot in the south 👍

Had a pleasant dinner here recently. We’ve been coming here for years but felt inclined to review after a fantastic evening. Service from when we arrived was really good. Friendly waiters and staff made the arrival and order process very simple. It’s great to see new items being added to the menu every few months; it makes your experience new and exciting each time you go. The food can be pricey but we got the sirloin special (with chips & sauce included) for R149 as well as 3 tapas for R165. Both very well priced. Bare in mind the tapas are very small plates and not enough to share between 2 people. Food arrived in an okay time but it was all fresh, hot and well presented. No reason to stop coming here! Great local spot

Had a lovely evening at The Eatery. Atmosphere and service was tip top. The espatada and burger were both very good. Asian slaw was amazing. Only improvement is the thick cut chips could have been cooked longer to make them crispy.
