Had
the
most
unwelcoming
experience
at
Zsa
Zsa
last
night.
We
supported
their
opening
evening
of
the
La
Burlesque
Show
(which
was
truly
sensational!).
Unfortunately
the
service
we
received
really
put
a
dampener
on
the
evening.
We
opted
for
the
show
only
ticket
(at
R250)
instead
of
the
dinner
and
a
show
(for
R650)
because
we
decided
to
eat
elsewhere.
This
was
the
only
advertised
distinction
between
the
ticket
options.
When
we
arrived,
we
were
the
first
to
some
really
good
seats.
After
which
the
hostess
very
bluntly
informed
us
that
we
did
not
eat
and
therefore
had
to
find
seats
"over
there,
somewhere
at
the
back".
The
stage
is
unfortunately
not
raised
and
the
floor
plan
is
flat,
meaning
sitting
at
the
back,
you
are
left
standing
on
chairs
or
bobbing
and
weaving
to
catch
glimpses
of
the
show.
Now
we
do
understand
that
the
dinner
package
did
pay
more,
but
should
we
have
been
aware
of
this
seating
arrangement,
we'd
have
happily
opted
for
the
dinner
package.
Our
gripe
is
however
not
with
the
unfortunate
seating
arrangement,
but
with
the
manner
in
which
we
were
received
at
Zsa
Zsa.
From
the
hostess
shooing
us
away
(again,
it
is
not
the
fact
that
she
did,
but
the
way
in
which
she
did
it);
to
the
unoccupied
barman
at
the
empty
bar
downstairs
telling
us
we
need
to
purchase
drinks
from
the
upstairs
bar
(which
was
absolutely
packed).
We
were
offered
seats
again
for
next
week's
show,
where
we'd
be
ensured
a
better
view.
While
we
do
appreciate
the
offer,
the
service
we
received
really
soured
our
evening
(while
apologising,
the
general
manager
even
informed
us
that
our
R250p/p
was
really
an
"excellent
rate"
for
what
received).
I
have
never
been
made
to
feel
so
unwelcome
at
an
event
before.
Which
is
a
shame,
because
the
La
Burlesque
performance
was
truly
incredible!
