Worst courtyard I’ve ever been to. Love Japan and love Marriotts, but this was the worst. The check in guy had the worst BO (def not normal for Japanese) and they decided to give me the worst room in the hotel as a titanium member. I was put next to the building side with fan, weird machines and, all night traffic that was super loud and shook the room without a break. Windows were so thin, I could hear everything. Refer to my great view. I checked online and the hotel was def empty. So, don’t expect any upgrades here! Worst Marriott… never again will I come here.

I recently stayed at Courtyard Tokyo Ginza with my mom to celebrate her birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, treating us to wines and aperitifs upon arrival. The hotel’s recent renovation in December 2023 means everything feels fresh and newly designed, especially the lighting in the room, which we loved. Despite a minor issue with the water tank taking a while to load, the overall comfort of the king-size bed, the attentive service, and great location more than made up for it. The complementary coffee and tea were a nice touch, and even though the gym wasn’t brand new, it still served its purpose well for a quick workout. Thank you to the amazing staff for making my mom’s birthday celebration so memorable! Highly recommended!

Decided to select Courtyard Marriott Ginza for our stay in Tokyo, and we were absolutely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. The location is perfect for those looking to have a short walking distance (<.5 Mi.) to stores, shopping, and entertainment. With store likes H&M and Express, to Chanel and Louis Vuitton, this is your go to Hotel. The service and staff were incredibly friendly, respectful and welcoming. We got upgraded to a bigger room because we were polite to the front desk staff. In the hotel room, we walked into a briefly view of Tokyo, a Nespresso latte machine, heated mirrors in the bathroom, and many more luxurious amenities. As far as the dining goes, they have a restaurant and an all-you-can-eat dining experience. We went with the latter, and ended up being delightfully satisfied with our service, selection of meals & salad bar, as well as the drink & sake selection. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a stellar Tokyo experience.

Extremely dated hotel, room and lobby included. Air con, like some previous comments mentioned, is so weak. As a titanium member, I saw there were still spare rooms available and asked for a late check out at 5-6pm (platinum member and above entitled to 4pm). They flat out rejected me and lied to me that the hotel was fully booked as the reason for not being able to extend my late check out by a bit. Showed them the Marriott website on their room availability, they just kept quiet and said nothing.first and last time staying in this lousy hotel. Please stay in AC Marriott or ALOFT both are under Marriott and are just 2min walk away from Courtyard and maybe just marginally more expensive than this one but well worth that extra bit.

Well organised and friendly staff. Busy but with plenty of space it never felt too crowded. Very nice lunch buffet with lots of variety. Love the many desserts!

Very professional. Truly helpful. The hydration Salt pills every day saved me! Quiet. Easy access to travel, food, and entertainment. The tub and shower were fantastic! Highly recommend. The fifth star is missing because the in room TV was very limited access, and operable almost exclusively in Japanese.

A good hotel in the heart of Ginza. Their breakfast spread is awesome and they have tea ceremony kind of setup and a good bar with happy hours on Tuesday. The staff are very helpful and all the good parts of Tokyo for business, shopping and food is at walking distances. For Indians there are 3,4 Indian restaurants at a radius of 2 km.

We enjoyed our stay at this Mariott hotel. It is in a busy shopping area of Tokyo, you can walk to a number of attractions from here. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. The breakfast was great. Comfortable room. The shower was hot with lots of pressure. I actually left my jacket in the room and we left the hotel, staying just 1 night, to travel in Japan. When we got back to Tokyo, I realized I didn't have my jacket and we called this hotel and they had saved it for me. I thought that was very kind and I did get my jacket back after a week of them hanging into it. Great service!

Stayed here twice. Once with points and once with a paying booking (booked thru 3rd party partner). Am a titanium elite member. Am terribly disappointed with hospitality received at the reception. Were not greeted or recognized for the status/loyalty and did not feel welcomed. Actions and remarks from the male receptionist seemed patronizing to me, which were puzzling. Will recommend staying at the nearby two Marriott hotels instead - AC or Aloft. Have stayed in all three before and I would not choose Courtyard Ginza again unless the price difference was huge.

Close to Ginza JR Station and luxury shopping. Checking in was seemless. Room was spacious and comfy. We got in late after our long flight and the sleeping shirts on the bed were absolute perfect to sleep in after a quick shower. Also really loved the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The mini bottles are never enough.

We stayed for only one night - this was the perfect spot between landing at Narita followed by a domestic flight from Haneda the next day. The room felt new and renovated. Incredibly friendly staff - super nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet provided a great balance between western and Japanese favorites. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

Rooms are nice super clean no views just of other buildings. Greta staff traditional Japanese respectful culture. Business district not much around. Did not like stay but clean sparkling rooms. Noisy hotel from road and construction.

The hotel is located in Ginza area, extremely near to Ginza six. Therefore location is 5/5 The hotel had undergone major renovation. Rooms looks fresh and modern. Really like it. Service was excellent too especially for Marriott Elite members. Breakfast is served at Ristasix restaurant which has nice and modern decor. Food quality during breakfast was delicious too. Will definitely come back here again the next time I’m visiting Tokyo

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 18 years. The staff are great and welcome me warmly each stay. The hotel is centrally located in Ginza and after a brief spell when it was closed for renovation, it recently reopened on 1st December 2023.

New renovated rooms. Room size is larger than average in Tokyo. Nice staff and fast respond to my email before arrival. The location is about 5-7 mins walk to nearest subway.

I had a great experience staying with Courtyard Ginza. The facilities were old but the staff are friendly and helpful. They help me with my ask kindly and handled it very well. I’d like to recommend it to those who look to stay in Ginza.

We really enjoyed staying here - comfortable room, good bed, cold AC, nice service, and short walk to the rail. Really a great value versus other Tokyo hotel prices we looked at.

Was just a basic outdated Marriott property, in a pretty good location. Rooms were terribly small, as were bathrooms. Nothing special done for top tier titanium membership either.

Sulman, the front desk personnel at Courtyard Marriott Ginza, went above and beyond for us. Last week, my brother lost his phone in a taxi, and Sulman helped us find our phone! We don't speak Japanese, so he helped translate once we had the taxi operator on the line. THANK YOU! I will def come back and stay here and will recommend to all my friends and family.

Great location, 10 walking mins to Ginza station (commute), 10 walking mins to the fish market (breakfast/lunch food). Rooms are not spacious unless on the 11th floor and pay the premium. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Service is what one normally gets in Japan - nice hospitality as a 4 star hotel (as advertised). Basement has a gym. Security is another notch higher. Your guest card can only get you to your floor, meaning it's secured from other guests. However it may add inconvenience for groups with rooms on different floor.

This hotel seems to have the objective of literally cooking it’s guests. It is winter in japan, but that is no reason to heat the rooms to 30 degrees Celsius. Rooms are not habitable with this temperature. Same goes for common spaces. Several guests have already complained about the same issue. Why does this hotel waste so much energy (and leaves a huge carbon footprint) if it is not necessary to heat everything up with such excess. The hotel management should be ashamed of the wastage they are causing. I reported it to the management, they say it’s their centralized system and cannot be adjusted. I stayed here before in summer, but this will be my last stay. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's a very nice hotel with all the amenities. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They have a very nice event space.

Loved the hotel except for the AC. The rooms were very nice, they just didn't get cold enough. The shower was kind of small with no exhaust fan. The bathroom mirror is heated though. I requested a fan when making the reservation, but it did not work. It just kept shutting off. I believe they gave me a purifier, not an actual fan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the Fiore restaurant was very good. The location was very good. It was within walking distance to the Higashi-Ginza train station. The only other minor complaint is you can hear a train from your room, and I was on the 10th floor.

Overall: 5 Location: 5 Guest Rooms: 5 Club Lounge: none Foods: - Drinks: - Comfort: - Breakfast: 5 Fitness Center: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Cost Performance: 5 Comments: Located in the center of Ginza and very convenient for shopping around. Guest room is spacious if upgraded. Breakfast is wonderful buffet style with a variety of Western and Japanese foods. Gym is a bit small... Note: it is totally closed during Emergency Declaration of COVID-19 until February 28, 2021. They recommend AC hotel just located at neighborhood.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary, got a free room upgrade! Highlights: -They let us check in 15mins early -Breakfast buffet was in Restaurant Fiore, which included Eggs Benedict and Pho (unusual to see in brekafast buffets), also have an orange presser machine for a freshly squeezed juice To Improve: -Air conditioning system was centralized, during our stay the room was quite hot since it seems only heater setting is allowed during winter
