I've eaten here a many of times over the years and had a great experience each time,except for two days ago. I got a black Meg burger and it was less than par compared to previous visits. It's like the meat was different and not as quality as before. This definitely will deter me to go again until I find out if they've changed their meat or recipe on burgers. Actually quite sad on my last visit as this was one of my go to places for a good bite to eat.

Have been here a few times, food is always excellent and made fresh. Staff is friendly and I truly recommend their Philly cheese steak to any northerners missing home, by far the best I’ve had in the area. Every time I’ve been here I’ve been split between all the options, I always get the Meg sauce on the side though. Nice place with fair prices for what you get.

this place is amazing. it was so good i had to buy myself a second meal 😂. the price was such a bargain, and the staff is very friendly. the sandwich along with the toppings were cooked perfectly, the fries were also fried perfectly and topped with salt perfectly, and the sodas were amazing as well. will definitely come back when i visit again

10/10 Grew up here as a kid and came to visit after not being in town for years and black meg is STILL amazing. Got help from Rachel and she was incredible and had the kind of customer service you just don't get in Houston. I got the Texas chicken baked potato and it was amazingggggg. Even came back the very next day to try the steak and cheese baked potato with a side of chili cheese fries. Again 10/10 will always reccomend supporting this place over the corporate food chains.

I really enjoyed the family friendly environment. The cashier (Blair) gave us the history behind the stores name. The food was great! The mayo with seasoning in it was a new twist for me. When I go back to Copperas Cove, TX I will have to stop and get a burger.

Amazing food, excellent service, some gluten-free options. and an unbeatable comfortable atmosphere! I forgot to picture my own food, but I had their steak & cheese baked potato and bacon cheese fries. It was incredible. The staff was so sweet, and my family loved their food as well. We're regulars, but I'm glad I tried something different than I normally order. Super happy and satisfied!

I've been going to Black Megs since I was a kid and it was across the highway. Throughout the years Black Meg has gone for good burgers to just a burger to what it is now which is a great burger. The best thing they did for business was revamp their menu and upgrade the small things. The cooks you have at this location currently are excellent. I have been a constant customer this year due to the value, location, and the ability to make actual delicious burgers. I love supporting small businesses, keep up the great work!

This place seems to be on the downfall. At one time in my opinion this place was as decent if not a tad bit better than other copperas cove burger joints. Now on top of the long wait for food, when I does come it warm or room temperature. It sure would be nice if this place could somehow turn things around and restore the quality service they once had.🙏🙏🙏🙏

Someone who claims they work at this establishment ended up with my stolen tapestry in their window after my house was robbed. If this is who they feel comfortable hiring, I would not support this establishment.

It was a pretty big letdown. I ordered the redneck Burger minus lettuce and minus mustard both of which were on my burger when I received it I also asked that my onions be grilled which was not done it was very slow in there there was only two customers besides me so it wasn't as if they were having a busy day. Then when I asked for a side of Mayo they gave me a single packet for my fries which were by that time cold. They used to be so much better.

Drive-through was great. The older lady ran me through the entire menu, and what was good and the soda options. The food was delicious and had the cactus burger simply great. Had all my coworkers recommend this place and was not disappointed.

The food is alright considering this town, but Jesus They worry about drive through more than the inside. Completely embarrassing for a restaurant. I saw 7 I stg 7 cars go by before I got my 2 burgers and 2 fries. Do better. Cook was just walking around on his phone.

Very surprised at how good this place was. The fries were hot and perfectly seasoned. I had a fried chicken burger my husband had a regular burger. We both loved our food! I've gone here a few times now since the above review and its still amazing every time!

Restaurant was incredibly clean when we came in for dinner. Kids meals are an incredible value, and miles above the local fast food places in terms of quality. Wife and I ordered a classic cheeseburger and cactus jack. Everything made to order, and tasted perfect. Staff were wonderful. Entire experience was amazing and unexpected.

Amazing burger. A while back they started using cheaper meat and I didn't like them for a while. They have started using the good stuff again and are super good. Only 8.94 for a combo

Great food with its own unique taste. Not at all like the fast food chain places. Would like to see the meal a little bigger but it is adequate. For some reason the staff likes to keep customers in a confined area when dining in. Plenty seating available, they just don't want to open it up. Gives the appearance of being lazy and not wanting to possibly have to clean a table or two outside of a select few. Overall it's a good place to eat for those times when a person wants something a little different.

The burgers r good but not good enough for the wait . Drive thru waits be like 20 30 minutes wit one car in front of u . Not busy at all . This makes no sense . Do better black megs .

Went by the Black Meg 43 Friday night for a few burgers. Went through the drive thru which took a little longer than I was expecting was but it was busy inside. Our food was nice and hot but it was a little pricey for 3 burger combos. Over all everything was good and the service was nice. We'll definitely be back.

Love their burgers! They are always made fresh no matter what time day or night. Their drive through is also pretty quick and friendly service as well! This is a family friendly, cut wearing friendly and great for anyone who wants some good food. Their burgers are like the ones my mom made as a kid!

My mom loves this place!! It’s a lady that works here she is amazing she has black hair. But other than her their customer service is HORRIBLE.

Wow.... Menu prices are deceiving BIG TIME. A combo is posted for 13.74 but was actually charged $16. 3 meals posted at what should have been $37 came to $49!!! Their response.. oh our prices changed! Then POST THEM... Instead you are charging whatever you want. I loved this place but I won't return to a business that's not clearly labeling their products prices and are rude when you ask about it. Simply Good Burgers is wayyyy better too bad they were closed today.

The bun was too soggy to eat in a few areas and the fries were way too greasy. The sandwich was delicious though, and the soda was perfect.

Would give 11/10 stars if I could!! Ordered for a team of 73 players and nothing but awesome comments! Erin and the team did an excellent job catering to us with timely, hot, and delicious meals!! GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, you won’t be disappointed!

You have to pay for ketchup 😒 that should come with fries seriously. I get the special sauces but definitely not ketchup. The girl who rang us up said once she rang us up there would be additional charge but clearly I did not know this applied to ketchup to go with a fry order. Also not a fan of the onion ring batter it just falls of the onion. Burger was good though.

Great local spot for a burger! The prices are fair and the burgers and fries are consistently tasty. Don't come in expecting the same speed of service as a place like McDonald's but the food is fresh and worth the wait.

What a great place for a burger! I got the Texas melt and it was delicious! The staff was amazing and great price! Who needs fast food, when you've got Black Meg! Dining area was immaculate as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be a regular!
