Title:
"Mixed
Feelings
at
Highway
Inn:
A
Passenger's
Review"
I
recently
had
the
opportunity
to
take
a
break
during
my
journey
from
Noakhali
to
Dhaka
at
the
Golden
Highway
restaurant.
The
overall
environment
was
pleasant,
and
the
availability
of
clean,
well-maintained
restrooms
was
a
relief
during
a
long
bus
ride.
However,
there
were
certain
aspects
of
the
experience
that
left
me
with
mixed
feelings.
On
the
positive
side,
the
restaurant
offered
a
refreshing
and
clean
atmosphere,
making
it
a
welcome
pit
stop.
The
availability
of
clean
and
well-maintained
restrooms
was
certainly
appreciated.
Unfortunately,
the
one
major
drawback
I
encountered
was
the
cost
of
food.
I
couldn't
help
but
notice
that
the
prices
at
Highway
Inn
were
significantly
higher
than
what
I
typically
encounter
in
other
places.
For
instance,
I
purchased
a
packet
of
chips
for
20
taka
here,
while
I
usually
find
them
for
10
taka
at
other
locations.
Similarly,
the
price
of
coffee
was
40
taka,
whereas
I'm
used
to
paying
30
taka
elsewhere.
This
pricing
dissonance
raises
a
valid
concern.
Passengers,
like
myself,
are
often
compelled
to
use
these
facilities
during
their
journeys,
and
it's
only
fair
that
the
prices
remain
in
line
with
market
rates.
The
noticeable
overpricing
at
Highway
Inn
could
deter
travelers
from
enjoying
the
dining
experience
here.
In
conclusion,
Highway
Inn
is
a
welcome
oasis
for
travelers
on
this
route,
offering
a
clean
and
refreshing
environment.
However,
the
management
should
seriously
consider
revising
their
pricing
to
be
more
in
line
with
market
rates,
ensuring
that
passengers
can
enjoy
their
pit
stops
without
feeling
overcharged.
