It's
hard
for
me
to
write
a
review
about
this
place
because
I'm
very
ambivalent
about
it.
On
one
hand,
the
place
is
old,
not
very
well-cleaned,
and
the
room
smelled
of
mildew
and
moisture.
The
hot
water
for
the
shower
was
difficult
to
control
and
often
fluctuated
between
boiling
and
cold.
There
was
supposed
to
be
a
shuttle
for
from
the
airport,
but
there
was
a
miscommunication
somewhere
along
the
line,
and
I
had
to
wait
an
hour
for
a
shuttle
to
arrive,
thereby
adding
3
hours
to
what
had
already
been
a
long
transatlantic
flight.
When
I
finally
did
arrive,
the
front
desk
couldn't
make
change
for
me,
and
I
had
no
choice
but
to
grossly
overtip
the
porter.
On
the
other
hand,
it's
located
in
a
very
nice
part
of
the
city,
it's
conveniently
located
from
the
embassy
and
2
international-quality
supermarkets,
the
breakfast--albeit
simple--was
quite
good,
and
they
included
crepes
(yum)!
The
service
was
very
good,
and
the
manager,
Mr.
Sall,
was
very
friendly
and
helpful.
Staff
were
friendly
and
easy
to
talk
to,
even
despite
the
occasional
language
hurdle.
The
swimming
pool
was
surprisingly
clean
and
refreshing.
Overall,
I
was
satisfied
with
my
stay,
but
I
don't
know
if
I
would
have
felt
the
same
way
had
I
had
to
stay
there
on
my
own
dime.
