It's hard for me to write a review about this place because I'm very ambivalent about it. On one hand, the place is old, not very well-cleaned, and the room smelled of mildew and moisture. The hot water for the shower was difficult to control and often fluctuated between boiling and cold. There was supposed to be a shuttle for from the airport, but there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line, and I had to wait an hour for a shuttle to arrive, thereby adding 3 hours to what had already been a long transatlantic flight. When I finally did arrive, the front desk couldn't make change for me, and I had no choice but to grossly overtip the porter. On the other hand, it's located in a very nice part of the city, it's conveniently located from the embassy and 2 international-quality supermarkets, the breakfast--albeit simple--was quite good, and they included crepes (yum)! The service was very good, and the manager, Mr. Sall, was very friendly and helpful. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to, even despite the occasional language hurdle. The swimming pool was surprisingly clean and refreshing. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, but I don't know if I would have felt the same way had I had to stay there on my own dime.

It is a well managed small hotel with impressive breakfast, French style. It is within trekking distance to the Atlantic Ocean.

Average I really struggled with their beddings and towels which appears somewhat discolored and old . I’d encourage management to consider changing those. The location is however perfect for meetings at the UN offices which is right opposite. My washroom was rather small and difficult to maneuver. My first instinct when I got to my room was to try change to another hotel to be honest . But to be fair, the room sizes was ok though the wooden floor tiles were all squeaky.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, convenient to the airport. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a treat. Dinner not the best.... Friendly staff.

Rooms are average but the food is quite poor, not much variety and most of the items on the menu are unavailable.

The service was superb with courteous staff. The cuisine was tasty plus there was ground fresh pepper on demand. Rooms were neat and properly maintained by cleaning staff all through my stay. Only draw was that the rates were a bit less affordable.

Best value for money decent hotel I have come across in Dakar. Its not perfectly maintained, but the rooms are spacious, the bed is great and the breakfast on the 11th floor (or roof top if the weather is good) gives you a great view of Dakar and the ocean. Very central in town and close to lots of good restaurants.

Nice place , good view

The hotel service is one af kind. It's a very good three stars hotel with a 5 stars service. Mr. Mansour and Mr. Mamdou and all the other staff were a good help during my 10 nights staying at the hotel. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would like to come back again when I come to Dakar. The restaurant was also good and the other facilities. Great hotel!
