We stayed at La Demure for 3 nights, and found our room very comfortable and welcoming. The beds were very soft, and each morning a lovely smell wafted through the corridors. The staff at La Demure are incredibly kind, and went well out of their way to help us find dinner during the curfew. We always received a large smile upon coming back to the hotel, which was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious! A great place to stay, I would recommend in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay. Family like feeing, highly recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in the Almadies. Mamy is the best!!

The service was fine. The food you could buy was really pricey but fine. The bathroom was decent other than the scalding hot water that was difficult to adjust to a decent temperature. Water also stoped running for a couple days which was terribly inconvenient. overall the place was not the best but not the worst either. I'll say it was just decent.

Charming and inviting. The staff is great and very welcoming. They keep the premises extremely neat and clean. Breakfast on the roof top cafe is a great way to start the day! Fresh croissants and omelets make a filling breakfast before you explore Dakar. If you like boutique hotels you will appreciate La Demuere, but if you must have western standards of luxury, then look elsewhere. We enjoyed our stay!

I’ve heard really positive things admit this place but I was very disappointed with my experience staying at la Demeure : - the swimming pool did not have enough water and was dirty (basically not usable) - the ac in the room did not working properly - the TV in my room was not powered and the plug didn’t seem to function properly And... there was nobody at reception to fix any of the issues that we encountered at this hostel.

Cosy and very beautiful place (the decoration is stunning) . It is clean and the personnel is nice and welcoming.

Very tasty European brunch (orange juice, croissant, brown baguette, crepes, eggs, jamm, honey...) for 6000cfa in a peaceful atmosphere on a lovely rooftop terrace.

Lovely, quiet spot with view of Atlantic on terrace. Fanta and her staff are wonderful.
