The manager is absolutely psychotic. Looking at the reviews, seems like a common occurrence that the manager decides he wants to call the police on you for doing literally nothing. — Motel 6 is a pet-friendly franchise, but the crazy manager of this location screamed at me, threatened me, and called the police because I had a cat and “vandalized the room with pet hairs.” I literally told him, “I should be calling the police on YOU! Not the other way around!” Absolutely wild, once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re smart, you’ll stay at another motel, especially if you have a pet.

Last mintute trip and on 4th of July weekend all hotels were booked up so we came here . First the Front desk gave me the wrong number on my card so I went to wrong hotel which surprisingly opened another guest room . Once I got the correct number I went to my own hotel and the keycard still opened mine up which I don’t understand. I didn’t feel safe after that incident. Could anyone just open any door with their key card. Then one bed was clearly dirty you could tell it wasn’t cleaned it even had Hand prints on the headboard . To top it off the shower walls were full of hair which I don’t even wanna know from where. Luckily I only needed the room to sleep so I wrapped my kids in our own blankets and we all sleept in one bed and woke up Early to find a better hotel .

To be honest the place is just terrible 23 complained about roaches and requested a refund but they tried there best to not lose money and gave us a new room🤦🏾, I've got to look at reviews before going to a hotel because this is just horrible.

I enjoyed being here because the price is good and the people are so nice. They made sure we have everything we need and when I lost my card to my room they replaced it no problem. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

I was given a room that had an adjoining room with a very thin door that was actually unlocked. The person next door was very loud. It is a very busy place at night with people out on the walkway. It is next to the freeway so there was a lot of road noise. I did not get much sleep and I will not be back there.

Wish I could give this place negative stars other than 1. If you planning on staying here 2 or 3 days you better let them in your room to clean it or you will get thrown out. They don't let you know that upon check in. You find out when you go to rerent the room after the manager threatens to throw you out of there. Also roaches get inside the room. Internet sucks here as well. And way too expensive for a runned down motel like this. 87 per night and that's with a cdl discount.

Rooms disgusting, door wouldn't even close all the way, toilet not very well worked, drains clogged, room small, air conditioner wasn't not good barely put out cool air, do not recommened

Nice rooms, swimming pool what's great, the only thing I would recommend is a good power washing of the sidewalks and stairs. I will stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights in 2 separate rooms cause I only reserved 1 night at first. The first night was ok except for the floor. I walked around barefooted and my feet were black in 5 min. Can't see it with the color, but nasty and sticky. The second room had hair in the sink, tub, and bed. The sink and tub drains weren't draining good and the tub drain was nasty. Oh and when I did the OL reservation I used the name I've used my whole life but they saw my I'd had my legal name. One is short for the other. Both nights the clerk didn't believe me and didn't want to let me in. Bet they would have charged my card with the same name as the reservation.

My son and I stayed at this motel one night. The manager and staff made us feel very comfortable and WELCOME. The property was clean and the rooms were very clean and well maintained.

I booked 5 nights and only stayed 1.5. The room was clean and adequate. No bugs and the sheets were clean. However, I stayed with 2 cats. I had to leave for work, but was concerned they would escape during cleaning while I was gone for the day. There are no door hangers to use notifying staff not to enter. Went to the desk and had an extremely difficult time communicating my concern. They let me write a note saying they "would put it with the paperwork." I did not feel confident with this at all. Skipped work due to worry. No coffee made in the morning as stated in the description. No tub stopper of any kind. Wonky TV. Also, the place is currently being remodeled, I guess, so all afternoon chunks of wood and furniture were being chucked from the second floor balcony to the parking lot in front of my room. Overall, a very stressful and nerve-wracking stay. I checked out and went elsewhere.

Walking into the room l should've stopped and turned back around. My husband used the toilet but left the seat up. There was a brown substance under the seat. The sides of the toilet was moldy & dirty. The shower curtain was a regular curtain & it was ripped & barley hanging. There was no microwave plate for the microwave. The refrigerator was rusty & dirty. There was a water leak under there sink. And there were small roaches. I would've videoed them,but they moved too fast. There was a crack in the door.(you could see outside) and there were holes in the dingy sheets

Ok room, but waaaay to expensive. Said he gave me the senior rate. Came to $79. And thats without fridge or microwave. I wont be here again I promise you.

Hotel owner, was blaming me for a fire which I never did. He even saw on camera someone come into my room. He was furious!! Like hospital hit game he was trying to pay fire and EMS, to kill me for striking match to his hotel. Mad, scary mad. Hollywood paid the next three years over head for them not to press arson charges on me n my friend.

We've stayed at Motel 6's all over Texas and this one in Denton tx was by far the worst. We brought food to heat up ,No microwave ! No phone . "We are not responsible for your car or what's in it " posted between each room. People selling dope 2 rooms down. For 108$ Don't stay here!!

Our family has always been a regularcustomer here since 2015 & The location is convenient to Downtown Denton and shopping plus groceries and entertainment, the universities are both within 1/2 a mile off the location and it being so close to the highway makes it an easy access location with such affordable prices and the Management here is the best in the North TX with the housekeeping staff keeping the location clean and running efficiently. The area is also safe and family friendly for those looking to have the kids and family staying here.They have a Pool & New renovated rooms with easy access to local food and diners it's a location to definitely give an opportunity if you're stopping by I'm Denton Tx! Thank you Motel 6.

I had a sudden trip to bring my frail and ailing Father back from Texas and was searching for a non expensive hotel Denton, that could accomodate my Dad's two dutchounds and where we could bed down for the night. This motel accomodated me by holding a lower deck room for ease of transferring Dad and to walk dogs as needed. The room was clean and beds neatly made. The only disadvantage I saw was that our room had no microwave but again they still accomodated me in the office by microwaving for me what I needed. Very kind staff.

Courteous and helpful staff, pool looks good and clean, rooms are clean and tidy. Only faults are rooms are a bit smaller which leads to a corresponding lack of furniture. Short term would be fantastic but I'm a long term guy,very long term so for me personally it's a little small.

They either have bed bugs or dust bunnies either way I was itchy all night and woke up with small bumps, front desk lady asked for an additional security deposit when trying to pay in office so I had to book a room online instead. Stayed here multiple times. Rooms are always clean and front desk people are always nice to deal with. The new room renovations are great. Really gave rooms a new feel.

Can't even give it one star, should be options for negative stars of -0 to -10 and if so I would give it a -10. Unbelievable, by far the worst place I've ever stayed. My eyes and lungs were burning within 5 minutes from whatever chemicals they sprayed it down with, it wasn't bleach either, they don't use it at all, the wash cloth and towels were stained dark and dirty, they don't clean, the outside appearance is a dead giveaway to stay away, but I had been to 8 hotels that evening and all were booked, I had a 12 hour drive yet and it was late there was no other option for me. Plus the charged $180 for it. Wow!! Stay away.

I probably won't stay there again. Basically clean, if you don't mind a few dead bugs. No coffee or coffee machine/maker. No continental breakfast...one pillow... OH and don't mind the construction in progress....no carpet.... sleep and run...
