Just had 3 nights here It was very clean and rooms are well organized. Not much going on in the hotel so for food and drinks head out on the town is best, but you are very close to everything so the location is great. They have a nice gym but no spa or swimming area. Overall I would stay here again. Thanks team.

We paid almost $50 for a “guaranteed” onsite parking space when we checked in. When my family returned to the hotel after dinner and a show, we had no parking spot. Extremely rude front desk clerk told us we had to PAY MORE MONEY on top of the $44 we paid the hotel for parking… our choices were to park down the street in a sketchy underground parking garage at midnight(!) or park on the street somewhere and move by 8:00am or my vehicle would be ticketed. The front desk clerk was beyond rude and acted like this was just normal practice to screw over their guests who paid for parking. It is amateur hour at this hotel. Been staying at Marriott brand hotels for over 20 years and this has NEVER happened to us before. This was extremely irritating. Might be time to switch brands. Don’t bother with this place. The Hilton downtown has excellent staff, excellent rooms, and valet parking.

I rented myself a room here for my birthday. My neighborhood has been loud lately, so I thought a getting myself a room would be a good way to unwind. The room and hotel are beautiful. Unfortunately, It is midnight, and I've been kept awake by a drumset all night so far. I could have spared myself the money and listened to my neighbors slam around all night instead.

Will be sharing this with hotel management. Had a nice stay...room was clean and comfortable. And we definitely appreciate you working with us on the early check in (we had come in on the Amtrak that morning). Special props to Tucker at the front desk...very helpful and friendly. Check in/out was a breeze. Complaint? Please fix your key card issue. I understand you're working on it...but super frustrating to try to get in to your room...or use the elevator...with key cards that work sporadically if at all.

I normally have great experiences at Marriott hotels, but this place is an overpriced dump. The parking situation sucks and a homeless guy walked in the main entrance and started berating my wife when I was unfortunately in the room. She said the front desk didn't bother to remove him. The place feels dirty. Never, never staying here again. So disapointed.

I paid extra for a "city view" room, however the view from our room was obstructed by a wall on the 6th floor, and between the window and this wall was dirty and littered with trash. Additionally, our room was adjacent to a storage/maintenance room, which was nearest the end of our room where the bed was positioned. Staff was heard goining into and out of this room all throughout the day and night, slamming the door nearly every time which woke us up constantly every night. Then there is the condition surrounding the hotel - the area outside the hotel is entirely overrun with homeless people. Everytime we left the hotel we were accosted by aggressive homeless people demanding money and shouting obscenities at us if we didn't oblige. The sidewalk outside the building smelled of urine, and was covered in trash and human feces. My wife and I witnessed three fist fights between homeless in the area surrounding the hotel during our four day stay. The staff was accommodating and friendly, however I that doesn't change how disgusting and unsafe our stay felt, and how utterly disappointed we are.

If I could give this hotel a zero, I would. My daughter and I came to Denver for a concert. Upon arrival, the "manager" at the front desk was quite rude. We stayed 10/8-10-9/22. Our room rate with tax was over 300 for the night. At that price, you would at least expect politeness from the staff, especially the "front desk manager". Upon trying to check in, there continued to be a "problem" with my card, after trying 2, and then calling for information regarding why they were decling, we find out they were charging $408! Instead of he $311 for our reservation. At this time, the "manager" had gone to lunch and left the issue with the other lady out front. We brought up our things, went to our room, and we're VERY surprised by the dismally room we were given for our night. No coffee, no bathtub, room was EXTREMELY small, not at all how pictured on the website. We waited for the "manager" to return from her lunch to express our disappointment. We asked only for free parking out front, she refused. She refused o to listen to the charge that I was showing her on our card and kept blaming my card for wrong amount, instead of taking responsibility for a mistake. She NEVER apologized or asked how they could fix the issue. She just kept telling me I was wrong The charge of $408 is still on my credit card. Our room was not properly supplied with amenities that you would expect after paying that much for 1 night. The microwave was on the floor, the refrigerator was barely cold, the water wouldn't get but like warm, the hotel had a smell to it and homeless people were walking in off the street at night and carrying in their trash bags and going to the desks, where NO ONE was present. No locks on the front door for only hotel guests could come in. Anyone off the street can walk in. It was absolutely filthy outside, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Denver. The most important part was the front desk "manager" who was just the most rude, and inconsiderate person I have come into contact with in the service industry. She should NOT be the first person you come into contact with. Horrible service.

We were there from Friday, Oct. 28 to Monday, Oct. 31. We left for the day Saturday and came back early evening to our room not being cleaned. I called the desk to ask if we were supposed to request to get our room cleaned and they said "no". There was a pause with no apology or to have it cleaned so I just asked for some more toilet paper and towels. With that request I received a "We can do that." So when we left Sunday for the day, we stopped at the front desk to ask them to make sure our room got cleaned that day because no one cleaned it the day before. Again, I was offered no apology (but instead asked if we put the do not disturb hanger on the door which never left the counter all weekend) but assured it would happen. We got back late afternoon and I didn't think it had been cleaned again because the bed was not made, the floor was not swept and the bathroom was not cleaned. Apparently cleaning a room only involves replacing toilet paper and towels and emptying trash. I expected better service to a Gold Elite member staying at a higher tier hotel.

First time staying here and it was a good experience. The bathroom was really nice minus not having a vent. Nice rain shower and body spray shower head. Liked how the fitness center had filtered water to refill a water bottle. The room AC system needs to be improved since it does this loud clicking noise every time it’s about to blow air. It gets annoying when you are sleeping right next to ac panel. I think they need at least two luggage holders per room and not one. Good location for downtown Denver though. Friendly, professional and prompt staff. Good self parking too for any drivers. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, parking lot on property you have to pay. $40 a day, however there are cheaper parking garages near by, on 16th street, and that’s super cheap and easy to get in and out.

Courtyard by Marriott in Denver is a great value hotel in a great downtown location. I really love how close I was to restaurants and mall. The hotel had great customer service.I had no wait to get into my room. The room was really clean. It had a TV with Netflix and light cable. The shower was okay size; but the water pressure was really dull. I was a bit surprised that no tub here. The soap and shampoo was really nice. During my stay, I used the computer in the lobby. They offer complimentary computer and printing. It was really nice perk. I was able to get items I needed for a meeting. I also bought a few items in small store behind the check in. It had a lot of great snacks and drinks. I was able to get cereal and drink for breakfast they were able to do seperate receipt or charge it to the room.

This is my favorite Marriott Courtyard ever! It is a beautiful building in downtown Denver and all the rooms I've been in are very well taken care of. The service here is amazing the location is perfect for access to downtown and the close to other offices in many restaurants. Just note there is no complimentary breakfast or coffee downstairs in the morning, but they do have a small "pop-up" restaurant that sells coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was not pleased. It was difficult to get my room cleaned. I communicated several times with front desk (Andrew) during my second day stay to get my room cleaned and it took the last call to get it done. During our second day the fire extinguishers went off will my baby was napping. The loud sound terrified her. At the very least they could I have not charged parking ($44 each night) for what the guest went through. Not pleased at all.

Excellent location for visiting Denver. Right next to the 16th street mall. Very welcoming front desk staff. Nice lobby. The room was well-appointed and the city view from our room was amazing. The parking lot was right in front of the hotel, thus very convenient. Breakfast was basic to-go. Only complaint: The 2-queen be room we had was small.

Located in the heart of the 16th street hustle and bustle. Starbucks is attached to the hotel with a secret doreay beyween the two worh key card access. The staff was amazing. We were allowed to check in early (1pm) and check out late (1pm) free of charge. There is a restaurant attached to this hotel and it's NOT very good, I ordered their avocado toast and it was one slice of standard wheat bread with avocado spread, some pickled something, and an egg I paid 3$ more for. I was disappointed.

This hotel was nice and met my needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although I was traveling solo, the room was well stocked with plenty of towels - enough for 4 people (this doesn’t usually happen when I need it). The gym facility was small and clean with a decent amount of functional equipment.

Hot water does not keep up with demand. If you enjoy hot showers look elsewhere. Contacted front desk first day of stay with the issue and was told due to capacity the hot water is not capable of more than it was providing. If you enjoy steamy showers, again, look elsewhere.

Having stayed in many Marriott hotels around the globe, this one fell short. We were “upgraded” to a room on the second floor right above street construction. We asked for extra pillows (a fairly common request) and didn’t receive any. Staff ignored us. The entire lobby smelled like food (and not in a good way) from the conference rooms every time we walked through it. Both mornings we were there, my husband tried to go get coffee in the lobby for it to be empty. There was no sense of urgency to assist us from staff throughout the entire stay. There are much better options in downtown Denver- skip this one.

This is simply the biggest disappointment in all my experience of hotels. I travel weekly for work and have stayed in a lot of Marriott Bonvoys hotels this one Courtyard Marriott Downtown Denver is a disgrace to Marriott and simply atrocious customer experience and hotel maintenance. My colleagues and I will NEVER stay in this location ever again! Let’s get granular: 1) My room AC was not working and making noise; called front desk and was promised it will be fixed before I return from my conference activities of the day. Upon return it wasn’t fixed; and I was promised again with apologies that it will be executed the next day. Alas! It was NOT as promised. 2) Upon checking out the hotel the line item bill was wrong as I had a group conference quote and even though it was on the top right of the bill, somehow both front employees and their supervisor was incompetent enough to not have the ability to do it right. Lastly, I called it out and requested it be fixed; I was told reservations and Marriott Bonvoy customer service are the only one they can fix it. I proceeded to call and was told the local hotel needs to fix this before check out as I assumed. Finally, please stay away from this location as no consumer/customer should ever experience atrocious experience as such and also with employees or/and supervisor that is basically incompetent!

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The bed was super comfortable! Clean rooms, friendly staff and a great walkable location to restaurants and bars. There are a lot of homeless people around but no one appeared to seem dangerous at all. Location of the hotel was about a 12 minute walk to the Union train station.

This is a historical landmark hotel. The rooms have very high ceilings because it was a former department store centuries ago seemingly. It's a unique place for sure and it's right on the 16th Street Mall which gives you plenty of access to everything downtown Denver.

If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Denver, this hotel is an excellent choice. Located just on the 16th Street Mall and steps away from some of the city's top attractions, and the Colorado Convention Center, this hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with plush bedding, flat-screen TVs, and plenty of amenities. Whether you're traveling solo or with a group, you'll find plenty of space to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. You can start your day with a delicious breakfast and coffee at Starbucks, the hotel's on-site cafe. And if you're looking to stay active during your stay, head to the fitness center! Staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to support and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Room was clean, only reason I gave 3 star on service was because they gave partial service to room. Replaced towels but didn't touch bed.

Beautiful hotel in Downtown Denver, honestly it didn’t feel like a Courtyard, it can pass as a full Marriott seeing how beautiful and well-kept it is. The lobby was clean and the staff in pure Marriott fashion were amazing! The room was great, clean and spacious. The restaurant in property is closed but a new one is coming soon, the Starbucks closed as well and there's no in room dining, luckily you have plenty of eateries around in walking distance. Overall great experience!

Pretty much everything was fine except our room didn't have a window to the outside (???). Never stayed in a hotel without an external window, and it wasn't noted anywhere in the room description. It's dark in the room 24-7. Either book a City Room or if they are sold out of those, find another location.

Stayed here for about a week. The staff was awesome and made us feel welcomed. This Hotel is clean and well maintained located in the heart of downtown Denver. We were able to walk almost everywhere and had easy Uber pickups when needed. They do have a nice gym and lounge area to get work done if needed.

This hotel had the cleanest room that I've seen during my travels in a very long time. I was very impressed. Kudos! There is a small gift shop and a Starbucks at this location. It is a short walk to the convention center with many food options in the immediate area. Definitely will return here next time in downtown Denver.

Staff are helpful, shout out to Tucker and Orlando. They made every attempt to make my stay comfortable. I’ve stayed here before and I’m fine having a Starbucks on the same street or a quick breakfast/dinner option. However both the restaurant and Starbucks have closed down. This wouldn’t have been a problem had a brought my coat! Rooms are large and clean.

This was by far one of the nicest Courtyard Marriott locations that I have stayed at. Very clean and a great front desk staff. Brody was fantastic and helpful! The hotel is attached to a Starbucks next door with easy access through a shared door in the lobby. I like the key card feature for access to the elevator as it ensures safety for the guests. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and have referred friends and family as well. We just stayed here for two nights, and the room itself was great. The main reason for the two star rating was our greeting by the front desk upon arrival. Since we were so familiar with the hotel, we expressed surprise that there was no more onsite parking available, and no valet. Carlos, the front desk clerk, responded to that surprise by promptly handing our credit card back and inviting us to find other accommodations. Up until that point, we were not upset, just surprised, but this response did set the tone going forward with our interactions with Carlos. He became snarky and sarcastic to us as we were checking in, becoming upset as he tried to explain that the credit card went into a machine instead of handing it to him. We are Marriott Bonvoy titanium members, and simply not used to the treatment we received. As a side note, we saved considerably by parking elsewhere, and Carlos could have handled the situation better by pointing this out, and being polite instead of the combative response. Maybe he was having a bad day, but we will never stay at this hotel again. We did attempt to contact the manager, but there was no way to leave a message at his phone number.

I am so pleased with our recent stay at this hotel! I needed to add an extra night to our trip last minute, and I wasn’t able to modify my existing reservation so I booked a 2nd room. Upon arrival the front desk merged my reservations and upgraded us to the better room for the entire stay, no extra charge! The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holiday and in the perfect downtown location, close to many restaurants and shopping. The junior suite was the perfect size for my husband and I to work comfortably for a portion of our trip. Finally, we were allowed to check in early and check out late at no additional charge. I’m so pleased with both how the staff accommodated us, & the hotel’s accommodations. I was a fan of Marriott before this, and now I am a fan for life!

My husband and I just came home from staying here for 4 nights and this is a REALLY nice hotel with really friendly staff. I felt like we had a quick chat with people at the front desk when we came in and out of the hotel which was nice. The fire place, location, room, staff and the setup for Christmas was gorgeous. I will tell anyone going to Denver to stay here. It's also connected to a Starbucks which was just a plus.

Cool old hotel with updated features great views. Starbucks in the lobby. Restaurant is overrated hit up one of the local spots instead considering it's on 16th st Mall and close to Larimer Square dont bother with that restaurant in the lobby no matter what anyone says it's not worth an hour wait for a hotel bar restaurant

Nice view, very clean, and in the center of downtown. Although the hotel is nice my stay was unfortunately uncomfortable due to the fact of hidden fees. I would recommend staying anywhere else unless you are willing to pay a pretty penny for barley any amenities. Yet it has convenience when the out doors lead to the strip mall, you could spend about the same for more amenities. Staff misinformed me and never refunded money that was fraudulently charged a day after checking out. Save yourself the headache.

This is my go to hotel when staying in Denver. Unfortunately the streets around the hotel are full of homeless and drug use. That's not the hotel's fault and should not reflect poorly on them. What the hotel offered was a safe haven from all the negativity outside. The rooms were very clean and relaxing. The excellent location allows for easy access to dining and shopping.

Enjoyed my stay. Their conference room support and setup staff are amazing. So glad that my company chose this hotel to host our workshop. As someone that setup for events for a living, I can honestly say that I have never had that level of support from an event center. Look forward to future events with them.

10 on 10 for location. Right on 16th street this is good location if you want to explore the place walking. But have to be careful during late night. Several food options right there. Service is good. Since it right at the center not much view from the rooms. Rooms are spacious and good.

Walls so thin, you can hear everything. Was woken up at dawn by the family next to us. "Superior" city view rooms are a joke. Very small and awkward. The only good thing was the view of the clocktower. Luckily the manager let us out of the rest of our stay without charging a fee. We switched to the Sonder Essex for the second two nights and it was perfection!

Very clean! Staff was polite to us. Location is great! It’s right on Denver’s 16th street mall. I personally wouldn’t stay here again. $44 for parking?!? Maybe this is normal, but I think that’s outrageous. We were charged a tourist tax?! It’s only $1.19 but I don’t get that at all. I have NO idea what the $6.95 data service fee is. Our room was $119, but we paid $188.69! I read that people said bathrooms needed updated? Our bathroom was gorgeously updated. Fancy shower for us (not that I care about that).

The hotel is ok. When I got to my room there was no coffee machine, drinking cups, ice bucket, pad of paper and pen, or any of the other amenities that you would expect from a hotel. Especially one if this caliber and price. I stayed for 4 days and not once did I have housekeeping come into my room. To the point I ran out of towels and TP. There's something unsavory about having to go to the front desk and ask for buttwipe when you're spending that kind of money to stay. Lastly, I was over charged by $400 on a $600 stay. Partly because they charged me for 2 whole extra days plus tax and incidentals. And the other part was because I extended my stay and they neglected to tell me I was being charged more because they were not going to honor my previous AAA discount unless I asked for it agian. Seems pretty shady. If someone books under a AAA rate you should continue to honor that rate or inform the customer that you will not. Then the person I talked to had the audacity to treat me like it was my due diligence and my problem. Don't expect these clowns to cover your overdraft fees when they run your bank account hundreds of dollars into the negative through no fault of your own. They have absolutely no accountability and horrible customer service. When I called to resolve these issues, the call center was very helpful and very nice. When they transferred me to the hotel, I received nothing but attitude. 10/10 will not stay here ever again.
