I now have a new favorite home away from home in Denver! We stayed at the end of Feb for a bachelorette event and I booked the Junior Suite which is a king room with another smaller room with a sofa bed and extra bathroom attached. The king room was glorious with a large tub and in the other room the sofa bed was surprisingly very comfortable and they offered to make it up for us before we arrived which was so helpful! We had dinner at the Nickel and the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Every single employee goes above and beyond. I was so impressed. I loved our stay so much I booked a room for the following weekend as well and we had another amazing stay. We had breakfast at the nickel and it was just as amazing as I had heard. We will be back soon! A special shout out to Matthew and Morgan for going above and beyond multiple times. Y’all made us feel like royalty. We’ll be back. Thank you !

A decent place to stay and centrally located but a few days after I returned home, my debit card was hit for almost $100. When I called the hotel to find out what the charge was for, I was advised that the late charge was for services the hotel offered. Service like a car that guests could use and for wine and beer that the hotel serves guests under the auspices of 'happy hour'. Will definitely not stay here again but good on them for the underhanded tactic. Give whoever came up with the idea of charging people for things presented as complimentary no matter if they use them or not. We never used the car and for the three nights we spent at the hotel, we were able to make it to one happy hour where I had two glasses of wine.

The AC wasn't working in the hotel (the hottest hotel I've ever stayed in, by far). The portable AC units they offered didn't help and they didnt give any instructions on how they worked when they brought them to your room - they needed to be refilled with water or ice... As I left, I saw much nicer looking portable units being taken out of other rooms, so not sure why I got the cheap option... The main lobby looks nice, but the smaller sized rooms, and small things, like short cuts in the bathroom features, definitely did not give me "luxury" hotel vibes. They market a free car service and a great on-site restaurant. The car was rarely available, and I found it difficult to schedule around. The restaurant hours did not align well with my stay either. (Sunday to Monday). Accessible location with walking access to plenty of food and drink options off the property. The highlight was the friendly and helpful front desk service. Natalie was honest and thorough. Overall, I expected a much more comfortable experience and maybe with appropriate AC it would have felt differently, but probably could have found something similar, if not better, for the price.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Hotel Teatro and had an absolutely amazing experience. I cannot speak highly enough of our time at this property, and I would rate our experience as a perfect 10 out of 10! One of the standout aspects of our stay was the customer service provided by the front desk manager, Natalie Pilsk. From the moment we arrived, she went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable, fun, and relaxing. She was attentive, thoughtful, and always available to help with any questions. When we mentioned that we were not used to the dry weather in Denver, she had a humidifier delivered to our room within a few minutes to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Her level of professionalism and care made for a truly exceptional stay at the Hotel Teatro. In addition to the wonderful service we received, the hotel itself was fantastic. The location could not have been better, and the facilities were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The room was spacious, and comfortable, and had all the amenities we were looking for. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel enough. From the fantastic customer service, and friendly and attentive staff, to the top-notch facilities, everything was perfect. If you're looking for a wonderful, centrally located place to stay in Denver, look no further than the Hotel Teatro - you won't be disappointed!

Super great stay! Very clean and everything you would want for a nice stay downtown. Definitely would come back. Little to no street noise so that was nice and there’s a 7/11 across the street if you need water or snacks ✨

We stayed here on our wedding night in June and I was so excited but it was a bit of a letdown. We were told by the manager he would upgrade us and provide champagne in the room for when we arrived. So kind and unexpected but then we got there and no champagne. Which is fine but we would have brought our own! My husband also asked for some upgrades (that he was paying for) and they were also not in the room for us. He was disappointed because it was a surprise for me. We decided to buy a robe as a souvenir because it said they would give us a brand new one. When we called down to buy one she told us to take the one from the room that was used but still charged us full price. We decided to do it but just felt kind of odd about it. The balcony while beautiful was super dirty and had no chairs so kind of a bummer. Overall we probably should have stayed somewhere else. The hotel smelt good and was nice but definitely let us down on our wedding night.

The place is beautiful & in a great location, but the staff here makes your stay absolutely wonderful! Everyone that I interacted with during my stay was so great, but Matthew really went above and beyond in every possible way! From answering any questions to solving any problem that came up, all while making us feel so comfortable and welcomed. 10/10!

This used to be our FAVORITE hotel. Our last two stays have been such a let down. This time we were informed upon arrival that the AC wasn’t working and we would have an in room unit (which did NOT cool our room.) The hot water was lukewarm which made for an uncomfortable shower. There was no discount reflected to our bill. We love the the location and aesthetic of this hotel but after several years of staying there, it looks like we are going to have to find ourselves a new spot, unfortunately.

Had a magnificent 1 night stay here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary! The hotel was more than accommodating! Definitely stop at their restaurant the Nickel for food. We only ordered room service for breakfast since they were closed on Sunday’s, super bummed after eating their breakfast Monday morning because it was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed their king corner room with deep soaking tub. Our iron was broken and room service acted quickly to replace it before our night out. I can’t thank this hotel enough for creating a perfect night out to celebrate with my husband. The location is fantastic as well. In the middle of everything. Don’t miss out on staying at this hotel. You won’t be disappointed!

Loved our stay at Hotel Teatro. Bed was comfy, shower and tub were relaxing, plenty of space for two plus our 90 pound dog. One of the concierges was a bit awkward and seemed to be making other guests uncomfortable with his interactions. When we called for a toothbrush to be brought up to our room, we were asked “used or new?” And then told we should just go downstairs and get it ourselves. So apparently it’s a special request to get a toothbrush that hasn’t been in someone else’s mouth lol. We were so happy to find a nice room that allows you to bring dogs for free with no weight limit, tho large breed owners beware - they may not have a large enough bed for your oversized pooch. We were glad we had ours in the car. No “Pet Goodie Bag” was offered (despite advertised), and fyi the pet relief area is down the street a block or two. Overall, room was amazing. However, was somewhat disappointed in discovering that the city view I paid extra for was mostly a large parking garage with a gigantic billboard of a baby staring through the window. Very un-romantic for a childless couple. Also bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light as the curtains do not fully mask the city lights.

One night stay was great and uber comfy. Plush bedding, premium towels and lots of plugs for computer and phones. Location is great for downtown venues. Will book this hotel again for business and personal trips in the future. Restaurant breakfast was plentiful and tasty as well without being over priced. Staff was pleasant at check in, check out valet and restaurant. 5 star stay.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone! We went for my partner’s 40th birthday and were treated to a lovely stay. I added the bubble bath package and everything was set up and waiting for us upon arrival, which was lovely and romantic. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the room is cozy and clean, Restaurant is very good and the ambiance of the hotel is fantastic. Really enjoyed our stay here and will look to be back in the future.

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel on a weekday evening in order to enjoy a show at the Buell. Hotel Teatro is a wonderful boutique hotel in Denver's theater district. Room was clean and tasteful and our meal at The Nickel was delicious. Special shout-out to employee Mathew who made our first stay at the hotel memorable and made us feel very special. Also, about a week later, Mathew quickly located a pair of eyeglasses we had left in the room- much to my daughter's relief! Thank you Hotel Teatro

My wife and I stay here multiple times a year, we love the hotel aesthetic, the rooms, the food and drinks, and especially the service! Matthew is always working hard to ensure guests are happy with their stay! We also love how close it is to many of our favorite restaurants and the concert halls! Never disappointed!

Great hotel made all the better by Matthew on the front desk who settled a slight hiccup I had with grace and dignity, and I really appreciate that. Hotel is in a super location here in Denver and is well looked after. 5 stars, loved it & would recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about the Teatro. We held our wedding reception here, and stayed here, along with our guests, over a weekend. We were blown away by the friendliness and level of service from every member of the team we interacted with. They went above and beyond to ensure us and our guests had the most comfortable stay. We had our reception dinner catered by the Nickel, and the food was top notch. Our guests were impressed! A huge thank you to the Teatro team, Daniel, Chef Amanda, and especially Belle. 10/10 recommend hosting your event here.

Impeccably clean/fragrant, up to date rooms, courteous staff. I really enjoyed my stay and it's worth the cost. The only downside is that their on-site restaurant doesn't serve lunch during weekdays; only breakfast and dinner. They do brunch on weekends. It doesn't make sense that they willingly send their guests to other nearby restaurants for lunch and lose that revenue. But again, great place to stay.

This hotel is a great location downtown, very walkable. However, we were not informed that there would be NO A/C for the entirety of our stay. This was a scheduled revamp of the entire AC system. I never received a phone call or notice of this before arriving to check in. We were given a portable AC unit but it was extremely loud and still did not cool the room enough. We checked out after one night because the price was not worth the hassle and not sleeping for 3 nights would ruin our vacation. They were very polite and respectful when we told them we were checking out and they promptly refunded our money.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. We chose it because of the beautiful architecture! The staff was amazing, so friendly, and attended to our every need. Special thanks to our valet, you made it so easy for us! The Nickel restaurant is conveniently located inside the hotel. Delicious food and a great bar! Thanks so much to all the staff, our stay was perfect!

Great boutique hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel lends out bikes so you can ride around downtown Denver. The fitness room did not have air conditioning and was a bit hot. They were running fans. It was also missing key weights (e.g. 15 pounds) needed for a workout

Remember to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be disappointed. We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel space is charming, staff are helpful and friendly, excellent location, complimentary bikes are a big plus. Rooms are on the smaller side but were perfect for us :)

This was our second time at Hotel Teatro. We have been continually impressed at the level of professionalism and service we have received here. We always felt welcomed, and extremely well treated. We would highly recommend this Hotel experience. The in-house restaurant "Nickel", is also fabulous. The staff there had us feeling like Family. A shout out to Nick at the bar, his humor, level of professionalism, and service absolutely made our night.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary and couldn't have had a better stay. This place actually used to be a bank but was converted into a local hotel. You can tell hotel management here puts everything they have into making this a memorable stay. Coming in from Houston, we decided to use a local hotel hoping we would get a more personable and memorable stay. The staff was amazing and put us in their top floor suite with a beautiful out of this world tub and very cool balcony. The room was gorgeous and clean. Something out of a movie to be honest. The views from balcony were amazing and you could see the Rockies in sight. We also got room service from the The Watch downstairs, it was delicious. One of the best hotels I have stood at in all my years of travel. Did not expect to find such hospitality and comfort in Denver.

After a stressful day filled with poor service experiences, Nick made our dinner at the bar fabulous, educational and comfortable. Morgan served us breakfast and was very charming. She made us feel appreciated as hotel guests and gave top notch service. The food, beverage and room accommodations, were well suited for the reasonable price. We will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Natalie at the front desk is incredible. Stayed here this past weekend, she was incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating when I realized I booked the wrong room. She also was incredibly kind to my 15 month old son and made us feel very welcome. We ended up in a Junior Suite, it was perfect. I would definitely stay again. The service and staff were exceptional. The food onsite is very good. And the location was more than ideal.
