The hotel is located in a great location, right next to 16th Street Mall, near restaurants and bars that are all in walking distance. The lobby is nice, has a bar area. The room was clean, but small. Bathroom was nice and looked updated. The room lacked overhead lights, and had to use the bedside lamps. The staff is very friendly. Valet is between $59 and $65 which is a lot to store your vehicle.

I loved it too much. I only stayed one night but I checked out at 4:00pm. For a three day weekend it would be amazing to visit Denver and explore the city. 16th St was under construction but I managed my way around it, it was still amazing and it has great restaurants at a walking distance. The room has a spectacular view and we were on the 8th floor, breakfast was amazing located on the second level, if I recall correctly, looking over the lobby. The gym had everything my husband and I needed to have a morning workout. It was such an amazing experience I recommend it for vacation and business. PS. I felt I was staying in a museum, I could easily get lost in there and not worry about the outside world.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Dirtiest shower experience I’ve ever had. Large clumps of dark hair all over shower floor. Obviously no attempt whatsoever to try and clean it as they would have been hard to miss. Something also broken off wall in bathroom (maybe a vanity mirror?) and not replaced but the broken bits still attached to the wall. View out of the window was a huge cement wall (back of another building). Positive side was the decent lobby bar and location.

Great Hotel! It was breviously a bank and converted into an hotel. Very kind staff, good location (Denver downtown) and clean room. Only negative thing is small window in my room which was facing another financial building. Other than that highly recommended.

Stayed here recently for a concert at Red Rocks. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean, and the staff was great! Had a wonderful breakfast in the on-site restaurant, “Range”, and it was great too. The location of this hotel can’t be beat if you’re looking to explore downtown Denver. There’s also a running/biking trail just down the street which was a bonus.

Location is very good. However room service was pretty bad. We had asked hotel to clean room everyday but for our entire stay, room was never cleaned. We called front desk and they said they will send people but no. Also hotel charged us extra 2 nights. I called customer service and they realized they charged extra two nights and said will send me an email and refund. But I didn’t get any email or refund. Had to call again, this time accountant picked the phone and said as the only accountant in the hotel she never received any request to do the refund. So we had to go over the whole story again :(

An amazing hotel with such an amazing concert with this hotel. Formerly the downtown Colorado National Bank building, they have turned this amazing piece of work into an even greater hotel. Everyone I met was super friendly. The Valet staff was great at helping point the way when we had questions and the hotel itself was an all around treat to stay in. Located in a very convenient area near the theatre district in downtown Denver this hotel is one of a kind. If you're planning on holding business meetings why not do it in one of the business rooms on the lower level that are located inside each of the 3 still existing gigantic vaults that are original from it's days as a bank.

Got in just before 11p. Checked in at the front, was told the bar would be open until 12p. Went to room, dropped off gear, and at 1115p, the bartender said they were closing early. Rooms are reasonably updated, but the showers/tilework need some major maintenance.

Nice central location, neat building (used to be the Colorado National Bank building). Rooms were clean, view was nice. On-site restaurant is pretty good though dinner can be a bit pricey. Bar is decent if small with good drinks.

Spent New Year's Eve downtown and at this hotel. It was awesome. The rooms were comfortable and everyone who worked at the hotel was great as well. We rang in the New Year at the bar in the lobby and just before midnight they gave everyone in the bar a Champagne toast. Great experience!

This hotel is stunning. It's in an old bank building, and the architecture is beautiful. The lobby is one long open space with the checkin desk, restaurants, and bar all right there. My room was standard, but nice. The breakfast in the club lounge was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had.

What an amazing hotel! The charm of the old vault, coupled with exquisite architecture, made for a truly memorable stay. The service was impeccable, adding to the overall delightful atmosphere. The breakfast options were not only delicious but offered a variety that catered to different tastes. A special mention goes to the lobby bar with live music, a definite plus that enhanced the overall experience. Without a doubt, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of history, hospitality, and musical ambiance.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with dynamic service and hospitable staff!! Love the location, close to the walking mall with tons of food options. Including the most delicious food 5 out of 5 at The Range restaurant in the hotel!! We loved our extra large King room, quiet and spacious.

Stayed From a Saturday to a Friday. Attended a conference at the Civic Center. Walking distance from hotel. The lobby is great.. The room is fine. Samll issues each day. Wrong coffee maker day day: 1. Was told that the local coffee shop opended at 7:30 and they would send someone up to check it...They switched the coffee maker 2. Room cleaned and coffee packets not replaced. towels not replaced , the towels had holes in them. 3. no issue. 4. My CC for expenses dropped off for some reason. and I was locked out of my room. I went to the front desk I had them run it again. It worked. I went back to my room. 5. A local homeless person relived themselves on the sidewalk. It was not cleaned up. It near the enterance to the valet. 6. Checkout and was told I would get the invoice. But had to call and it was sent the next day.. Not worth the price.

It's a lovely hotel, but there were dusty carpets and my "view" left quite a bit too be desired. However, the bed was comfy, staff was attentive, and the salmon I ordered to my room was phenomenal.

Fantastic staff at every level! Centrally located for great walkability and access to so many venues and events! The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied every single day. The concierge and in-house restaurant were also highly attentive and professional. The only drawback: no pool availability for relaxing and swimming. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

Things we didn't like: -The bed!!!!! This is possibly the worst bed we have ever experienced. Other hotels have pullout beds that are more comfortable. -The pillows. Did they find them at the dollar store 5 years ago? -The Range restaurant/bar. We were there early afternoon, a few executive/management looking men lifted up a counter top next to a table and were digging around in the trough stirring up dust. I started sneezing uncontrollably. (Maybe do this while closed?) After they left, the bartender started sweeping up after them. My asthma started to act up and I couldn't stop coughing. I also happened to be sitting at the bar next to all the water carafes and no one seemed concerned. -Valet. There is no valet on duty for 4 hours (maybe more) in the middle of the night. Small lot, with a few cars parked by the door, but the rest are parked in a public structure next door. We chose to find another parking option MANY miles away, to park our 6 figure vehicle, and use Uber and pay surge charge rates. Things we liked: -Reception, super friendly and accommodating. While Titanium elite, we accepted a downgrade to check in early. I wish I remembered her name. -Mr. Mike at valet. Very friendly, and professional, and knowledgeable about the area. -Breakfast, while not a large selection, was delicious. -Interior room, with no view (just a wall, did not look into another room) but also no street noise. Info about location: While we liked it was close to Coor's Field, due to safety concerns, traffic and homeless, we would prefer to be further away from the ballpark. -Close 16th St Mall. Mall has major construction and traffic diversions and dust. Many closed stores/restaurants. -Close to Baseball park. We walked to a ballgame and on our route, did not pass any tents. We also did not pass any bar/restaurant with more than 3 people pre-gaming. Is the city so unsafe, everyone just goes straight to the game? -Uber surge pricing is ridiculous in this area, due to traffic and street closures.

We had a great experience here. Hotel was clean. I didn’t really care for the breakfast setup. I felt bad for one of the waiters who seemed to be running around and doing all the work himself. He was a hard worker.

Super friendly front desk staff, very helpful and accommodating. Also the hostess I’m the restaurant was awesome. Went over and beyond and got me utensils that my delivery failed to provide. Definitely would recommend staying at this property. The rooms are also a good size and the bathrooms are really nice.

Don't forget to use HoteIDully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. Awesome experience! It’s inside an old historic bank. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean! The front desk was great and so was valet .. I’ll definitely come back here when staying in Denver

When I arrived, there was a gentleman with a AWESOME voice singing and playing sax in the lobby. It was a great first impression. Excellent location to 16th Street shops. Hotel has an old 60’s feel which I liked. Rooms were clean. Halls were narrow so when the maid was cleaning a room it’s hard to get your suitcase around the cart. My room was on the street side so I was disturbed by the loud traffic. They really need soundproof windows being that close to the street. Even though I thought it was on the expensive side for the room you get, I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing but expectations met. Great location... was on town for a wedding... was about to walk a block to the venue and didn't even break a sweat... the receptionist was kind and absolutely welcoming. Room was clean fresh and a interesting view... highly recommended.

This hotel was amazing. We got married here and the staff took great care of all the guests. The valley (Jason I believe) was very good. We had 6 cars all drive up at about the same time and he did a great job getting us all situated and unloaded. It took a little time due to the amount of stuff we brought but he and his partner were cheerful and also attentive to our needs. The hotel is a beautiful building and has a lot of character. It’s close to 16th street mall and had a variety of places to park close. The rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of pep. I will stay here again for the service alone. Thanks to all the people who helped make our wedding amazing. :)

It’s a beautiful building and the staff were trying their best, but you could tell they were overworked and exhausted. For $1200 over a 3 night stay we had the following happen: checked into wrong room which was a downgrade from what we paid for, a persistent bleach smell, 3 separate outlets that didn’t work, a hair in room service…twice, the room service menu wasn’t correct, the second tv was too close to the one by the bed and the remote kept operating both at once, and we had to ask for towels every day. We check out on a Monday and asked to be contacted by the GM when they were back to work on that Tuesday. They called after my Marriott survey on that Friday. You’re paying for a 4 star aesthetic and a 2 star stay, and that feels awful.

I’ve stayed a lot of nice hotels but this one stood out to me. The hotel and room are nice and clean but Teresa at the front desk was the standout of the whole experience. She was extremely kind, friendly, accommodating and made us feel so welcomed. It truly made our entire experience so much better. Will absolutely stay here the next I’m in Denver.

Beautiful and sophisticated hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. The hotel lobby is architecturally beautiful and stunning rich with history of what it once was. The staff was incredibly helpful and the members lounge overlooks the lobby which is a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and uodated but I will admit the bed was disappointing and my colleague and I both agreed the housekeeping in our rooms prior to check in was not very thorough as we saw residual grime and stains in the sink and shower walls. My sink was also completely backed up. Despite those things I would 100% recommend staying here as I enjoyed it very much. I will add I was disappointed when I called for room service within the hours they were supposed to be open oh to be told the kitchen closed for the evening.....that will cost you a star.

This is a neat and beautiful old building. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good location and most things are walkable from here. Nice wide hallways on 3rd floor (club level). Breakfast was just above average. Good choice overall. The bad now. Housekeeping is Slow. Front desk staff did acknowledge our Bonvoy Titanium status: no room upgrade, not sure why. It seems all Marriott properties aren’t following upgrade policies as before. At the end of the day give this place a try.

Pretty good hotel overall. I was staying here mainly for work over around 5 weeks. This was once an old bank, and the vault is now a meeting room you can hire! The rooms are decent when you get a good one. I would advise not getting one off the atrium, it's so loud you probably won't sleep. The bar is good, nice cocktails and traditional mixed drinks. The atrium gets gets loud at night because everything is made of marble.

The Renaissance was a wonderful place to stay. Rooms were nice clean and updated but not over the top fancy. The overall property is superb and has a bit of a history tour after being converted from an old bank. highly recommend you take a bit of a self tour and see the little facts about the hotels origins. I didn't eat at the restaurant but heard it was good. the lobby bar and coffee shop are good. Coffee shop could use a few more pastries but that's what the members lounge is for. Great experience at the members lounge with a view overlooking the hotel lobby which is gorgeous. The hotel staff are very attentive and professional in every way. I can't say enough good things about the Renaissance, I will definitely being staying here my next time in Denver.

Great hotel and very accommodating staff. The hotel lobby used to be a bank, and you can see vault doors and a few features still left in place, very cool to see. Rooms are in great condition.

Awesome service, clean room and a great location in downtown. Hotel was a former Colorado National Bank. They preserve a lot of the bank aesthetics and build more floors on top of the bank. Bank vaults were turned into meeting rooms.

Hotel stay was good, honestly. Location and rooms were good, so in that regard I would say 4/5 stars. P.S bartender was our favorite staff member. Now onto why I (and I see many other people) are only giving 1 star. I booked and prepaid for this trip through Costco travel with my debit card. Upon arrival they said I had 2 rooms, and I informed them I only booked 1. They cancelled 1 room, and then took my credit card for what I thought was incidentals, like any normal hotel. We stayed from May 29, 2022 to June 1, 2022. After returning from our trip I noticed a charge to my credit card for almost $500 dollars. I have called the hotel so many times, and I am now emailing as well. I have been hung up on, put on hold for 30 min (before I finally hung up), I have been ignored for the last 2 months by John Diamond who works at Marriott's accounting area. All I want is my money back and I see a couple other people who have left bad reviews do as well. MARRIOT PLEASE HELP US OR YOU ARE GOING TO LOOSE CUSTOMERS!!
