Rooms are dated and have no way of getting fresh air (the patio railing is gone, and the sliding door/ only window is locked). The room smelled weird. Now service is a different story, from the front desk to the lady that is cleaning the rooms or the omelet bar server...amazing everyone was so sweet and ready to help. Breakfast was great. They had an omelet bar but also scramble eggs. There were breads and spreads, coffee and juices, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, sausage, bacon, potatoes, yogurt muffins.... and again, the service amazing.

The good: Front desk staff are very friendly. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options. The room had a good sized work area with desk. Happy hour chips and fruit. Lobby aesthetics. Location. The bad: Phone in the room was broken. I reported it and it was never fixed. Air quality from the A/C vents definitely needs to be checked. There is no lunch option. Bar restaurant opens at 4:30. Had to walk half a mile to get lunch every day. No big deal. The beds and pillows were awful. Felt like I was sleeping on a very low marshmallow and the pillows felt like 1 inch thick. I’m not used to rolling out of bed almost directly onto the floor. No shower head, just the nozzle with the metal tubing. The holder for it was semi broken so it fell and smashed into my shoulder. Price was too high for the bed provided. Only could sleep 2 hrs a night there which is unacceptable. If I was Hilton I would take my name off this property ASAP.

I want to be fair and say that I would stay here again, the bed was very comfortable and the area of town is safe. The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious. I take customer service very seriously as I am personally the owner and property manager for multiple Airbnb properties on the western slope. I arrived in Denver with 2 of my daughters yesterday to move my eldest into the dormitory at a university in Denver. We had little sleep, a long drive over the mountains, and an extremely long day getting her moved in and purchasing everything she needed for her dorm room. I decided it was too late to make the 4 hr drive home and had my husband book us this hotel. My girls and I arrived worn out and starving, had not eaten dinner and with our frozen dinners we grabbed at target. I showed my reservation on my phone to the man at the check in desk who claimed to be the manager. He was a complete jerk and would not allow me to check in because my husband had made the reservation for me and his first name was on the reservation not mine. The “manager “ insisted that my husband be present for me to check into my room. I explained that he is 4 hours away and got him on the phone. After 15 minutes of conversation my husband finally convinced him to let me check into my room! Even though we have the same last name and I am holding the reservation email in my hand on my phone. I don’t know if he is sexist against women or what but I have never been treated so poorly. I was honestly shocked, I would never do this to one of my own guests! He claimed it was for safety but he lacked all common sense.

Very much in need of an update. AC could not cool our room had to run a box fan to try and stay cool at night. Carpet felt wet and sticky. Bathroom cold water handle was leaking. Door to the room you almost had to kick open. Great breakfast though!

Outstanding first class hotel, typical of an Embassy Suites. Very nice, spacious rooms. The only issue keeping it from five stars were some minor maintenance items. Outstanding breakfast. Highly recommend. Pet friendly.

The hotel lobby is nicely renovated. The rooms are trashy at best. Toilets are wobbly and unstable. Bathtubs are worn and peeling and different colored. The towels have pink stuff on them. The lobby TVs were all out on Saturday and Sunday so no TV services and the front desk was not sure what was going on and advised it was a corporate problem. They ran out of 1 of the 2 beers for happy hour then the next day ran out of the other. There was 10 soccer teams there and we were advised our kids were knocking on 1 persons door and running and even showed camera phone picture of our kids walking on the other side of the hotel so magically they ran all the way across the hotel in 5 seconds and then were just walking at that point and only happened to 1 door. Renee at the front desk wanted to single us out on multiple occasions for no valid reason and then decided to throw the employee who had been there for one month at us because she didn't want to deal with it. Homeless person out by the dumpster in the back which was a little concerning and even when he went in the building to steal some soaps and towels, didn't appear to be an issue for them. Would not recommend for sporting teams.

The rooms at Embassy are always nice and big. The a/c barely moved any air for three days so the room stayed hot and made it hard to sleep. The lobby was nice and I have always liked the open concept. With the amount of guests, I suggest having more than one person cooking omelets as there was a big line every morning. One of the elevators made some loud bangs on the way up so I made sure not to use that one.

The hotel isn’t bad and was what we were expecting. The issues we have is that we stayed here one night and my truck gets broken into and all of my belongings in there were stolen. (I get it they’re not going to pay it’s not their fault) however they have no exterior cameras according to the front desk. Ok we deal with this. Now the rest of our party shows up the next day and one of them got hit next!! While the amenities of this hotel are great the lack of security for their customers makes me never want to go to a Hilton owned building ever again!

Great hotel for stays. Just came for a night and wish I would have been here longer. Clean amenities, nice pool with jacuzzi, 2 free drinks per guest over 21 per night until departure, etc. One of the best hotels I have stayed in a long time. Definitely recommend and coming back!

Front desk people were great. Also the bar and wait staff great. Room 713 had a very strong odor of bleach which was nauseating. The carpet was stained , old and crusty. The worst thing was I got up in the morning wanting a shower didn't happen as the shower handle was there but not connected. The tubs caulking was old and some missing waiting for mold. All in all the hotel is old and has obviously not ever been updated.

Sorry but this will sting a bit Hilton. Major upgrades are needed throughout. I kept getting shocked by touching metal because of old carpet. My room......the bed wasn't comfortable and the complimentary bottle of water was opened. The bathtub was actually not clean at all. I stepped in for a shower and black soot was in the tub....luckily I keep Lysol. On my checkout day we asked for a late checkout.....well apparently that didn't happen properly. Housekeeping and some random guy from Housekeeping then the front desk again. Bad communication skills. Breakfast.....I should've just eaten nothing. But hey, the parking lot was clean.

This is a great place. The breakfast was amazing. The housekeepers are sincere and diligent. They keep the room and the hall spic spac clean. I liked how frequently and promptly were the table and room sanitized. There are plenty of food chain, super market and grocery store at a walkable distance.

Word on the street the city is buying/leasing this and turning it into a homeless shelter. But this location is still accepting reservations... so it might be in the works. Nevertheless, you have been warned. Personally, its was not the best ES i've been too, but it was nice enough for traveling family and my kids birthday parties (we live near here).

Our one night here was great! Friendly staff (Ryan was very helpful to us!), awesome breakfast, loved the happy hour with two free drinks and snacks and we slept great. I could tell the hotel was a little old and probably needs a remodel but I think the management is doing a great job making it look good in the mean time. I would 100% stay here again!

The stay was decent overall. The location served our purpose well, and I must say that the breakfast exceeded the typical hotel offerings. However, there were a few drawbacks to note. The bathrooms were significantly outdated, the beds were on the smaller side, and it was unfortunate that there was no coffee or tea available outside of breakfast hours. Taking these downsides into account, the overall value for the price seemed a bit steep, which makes me inclined to explore other hotel options for my next visit.

This management has trained or not trained their personnel to rip people off! My husband and I gave the facility our debit card upon check in we were told that our room charge would be deducted from the room deposit and the balance would be refunded after our stay. However, upon check out we inquired as to why my card was charged for the room again? The front desk attendant could not give a reason, nor could he authorize a refund, so now my debit card was at that point charged twice for a reserved room costing $168.02. We not soon after tried to use my card at Starbucks when I was embarrassed and told my debit card was declined. So, I looked at my bank account only to see that the hotel charged me a third time for the room.. A total of $524 for a room reserved at $168.02 when I called the hotel back, I was again told that, there was nothing the attendant could do, I would have to handle it with our bank. Here I am sitting, filing a claim with my back, I am without money, overdrawn as a matter of fact I can't even use my account to pay my bills because whet money I put in my account pays the overdraft first. I will never use Embassy Suite Hotels again. I have never encountered such inadequate accounting procedures in my life in hotels! Don't stay at the Embassy Suites on Hampden and I-25 in the Denver area, they can't seem to fix their own accounting issues. Give the personnel a "0" star rating they suck!

Our group hosted an event there and the management rented out the open space with some lady on a loudspeaker. It ruined our event. The breakfast was good, but the management is terrible and failed to keep track of the number of guests for our event. There are better hotels.

Desperately in need of a renovation, from rooms to common areas to the exterior. Old mattress, old and gross couch, noisy and inadequate air conditioning, ratty carpet, filthy windows. Sheets didn't fit properly so the bottom one kept coming loose at the corners. Even the laundry machines were old and dirty. Crumbs and wine stains all over the atrium floor, all week long. Area around elevators filthy. Housekeeping staff clearly don't care. Breakfast staff / kitchen can't keep up with demand. At least the front desk staff were nice. Not worthy of the embassy suites brand. Not a great neighborhood either.

Outdated and in need of a total remodel. Nothing management can do. Has to come from corporate. Inadequate water pressure, leaks, toilets sit SUPER low, beds from 2015 (super soft/worn), carpet worn and tattered. 2 washers/dryers for entire hotel. Pool looked good but was cloudy most days. That is not good. We didn't go in. Exercise room was ok. 1 broken treadmill the entire weeks stay. Our room was smoked in and they used a room deodorizer (not ozone generator but a fragrance generator to mask the smoke smell). It was very strong and lasted for 2 days then the smoke smell was back. Travel teams: If you are looking at stay to play locations, I'd stay somewhere else. Current staff were helpful but the problems are beyond their control. This is a corporate level problem. Pluses are the breakfast is excellent. Happy hour as well. In house restaurant was good.

Great prices and some free drinks. Beautiful rooms too, the only issue was we found a used shaving razor on the ground under the curtain. The cleaning services obviously werent as thorough as they should've been

The hotel is old and not maintained. The sinks in the room weren’t draining. Hot water didn’t work for one day because the boiler broke down. There was no room service. We had to go to the front desk and get more toilet paper and towels. The size of the rooms were good. The lobby area is also fantastic. The saving grace was the amazing breakfast with the omelette station!

The stay was great. Very relaxing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The only reason I give it one star is shady business practices. They charged a 250$ cleaning fee for smoking in the room which I did not. I explained this to the supervisor. My girlfriend is allergic to smoke and I do not smoke around her. I am not sure of what they thought they smelled but I assure it was not any type of smoke. I will be directed my business outside the Hilton chain all together after this experience. I have never been charged a smoking fee ever at any hotel I have ever stayed at and am floored that they can just say you did. Smokers be ware of this place.

This is a 3 star hotel at best. It desperately needs a renovation and the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. My room had several different sink vanities and the wood on the bathroom door and wardrobe was peeling/breaking off. I started getting a headache, sneezing, and feeling off after staying in the room for an extended period of time as the air was stale and possibly moldy. The thermostat doesn't show the current temperature in the room since it's so old and there's no way to actually turn the system completely off. There is a loud blowing noise that can't be turned off. That being said, the employees are pretty nice and the breakfast and evening reception are a great addition. Michelle at the bar really made my trip and I hope management gives her praise.

I had a VERY pleasant stay. I enjoyed the evening reception and the cooked to order breakfast. I also really enjoyed having a suite because it gave us a lot more room. The building could probably use a remodel, but everything was great! I would likely stay here again.

Embassy Suites have never been my style. I prefer a more modern look. Their rooms are always spacious and the lobby at this location was nice, but everything else was very dated. I liked that it was across the street from a Whole Foods. A huge plus!

Update to first review. Spoke with Ryan (located at the hotel) and he went above and beyond to make it right. He refunded our charge for the night, apologized, and had great customer service. Our interactions with Ryan have impressed us so much we would give it another chance and stay again. In addition to the first review I should have added these positives from our stay....our room was clean and spacious. Also the breakfast was good and the staff working the breakfast were great!

Really great staff. Kevin and Jewell were really helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The hotels amenities are always nice and the rooms were pretty standard. Our 17 month old did keep finding skittles and sour patch kids under the couch and in the room that were definitely not ours but other than that it was a perfect stay. Convenient location across from Whole Foods and other shopping centers. JP
